Why dosent the UN do anything about it?-(NKorea discussion)
Japan was on the opposing side of a world war where they were trying to reach global domination with Germany and Italy. And they were succeeding very well. That's why we dropped the nuclear bomb. Not just because of them attacking our harbor - we were trying to prevent a global take over by an evil Empire. It matter's not. America wasn't participating in the war until we were attacked (as far as I've ever been told?), so we attacked back via nukes. It was a bit excessive, really. :P

Why dosent the UN do anything about it?-(NKorea discussion)
Iran has stated they're just doing it for power or whatever. I'm sure they are, and if they happen to develope a nuke or two in the process, whoopdie doo. Can anyone actually imagine a nuke hitting a country that is an allie of America? Does anyone see this actually happening? They have defense systems set up specifically so it NEVER happens. How many times has a nuke ever been dropped on a country in HISTORY? Twice, I think? My history isn't the greatest, but I believe Hiroshima and Nagasaki are the only two places to ever have a nuke dropped on them...Both via America. Japan attacked a Harbor, so we destroyed two of their cities... Hopefully these other countries remember that - If they were to nuke us or one of our allies, their entire country would have people running around with melted flesh and glowing green river's. In all seriousness though...I think the UN and all that just worry way too much. They talk like these countries even MAKING a nuke means they plan on dropping it on America, and if they launch one, it's the end of the world. I watched CNN most of today and they said that defense systems in Alaska were already up, running and armed when N. Korea launched the first missle. Stop worrying. :P

Why dosent the UN do anything about it?-(NKorea discussion)
It isn't that simple. Ever heard of the "Double Over-kill" rule? For every nuke they fire, we fire two. One to take out their's, and one to hit them. Whoever has the most nukes to repeat the process obviously wins. :P Kim Jong Il is just an attention-[bleep]. If he were actually thinking logically, which he isn't, he'd realize China could easily cut their ties and North Korea would not be in good shape. North Korean people are already starving to death, they can't afford to be jerk-off's...Rather, their leader can't. The people don't really have a say in that. I'm only concerned about a war with North Korea...We can't afford it, is all. Is it a trillion dollar's spent in Iraq yet? I'm honestly curious. It's gotta' be getting close if nothing else. But if push comes to shove, I'm sure America and our allies will have no problem dishing out some butt-kick. What other choice would we have? Kim Jong Il is just getting too...Mouthy.

best birthday/xmas present you have ever got?
2 years ago, I got my computer. I really needed a new one (and I need a new one AGAIN, gg...) so it was cool. I used to love Christmas because I'd get a bunch of little, but very cool gifts, but now I don't get anything because everyone says I'm too hard to shop for...Or whatever.

Do you get judged?
Be like me! Wear plain white t-shirts and blue jeans and don't do anything special with your hair! :D I've been doing that for a few years and noone has assumed I'm any stereotype. I used to be asked if I was gothic because I have dark hair and I gelled it and *sometimes* wore black shirts. Yes, only sometimes, and apparently THAT makes me gothic. I don't like people asking me if I'm part of a group, so I don't dress or act fancy. Shower everyday, brush my hair, put on my plain ole' white shirt and my jeans and leave. :P

my my... what IS sony getting into here?
Sony's main revenue is probably from TV's, VCR"s, DVD players and such. It amazes me that some people think Sony is some new company that just makes consoles. Go look at your TV once...What does it say? I know all mine say "Sony" on them. As do my VCR's and DVD players. Oh, and my sound system (house and car). When it comes down to it, the PS3 is just too expensive. It is twice the price of other consoles just because it has Blue ray and some other little features on it - As if most people even know what that crap means. The majority of buyer's are kid's with rich parents. Xbox will win this little "console" war. Why anyone else would think differently is beyond me. They stayed within the normal price range ($300) and still have great features. PS3's features are a little better, but for twice the price? No thanks. Wii is just too different. I think a lot of people are going to be confused by the controller and just skip it. I know when I look at the controler, my only thought is "What the hell?" That whole two-handed, seperated...thing...isn't working for me. Granted, I saw some video's of it in use and it was pretty nifty, but most people HAVEN'T seen it in use. How it respond's to you moving and all that, and you can use the controller in different ways depending on which game you're playing. Speaking of games...Wii's games (for the majority) are completely [developmentally delayed]ed. Mario has been done 1,000 times (literally now? Pretty close..) now and it's being done again...Though I heard word of a Mario side-scroller, which would be cool, and the other games, save for like 2 I've seen so far, look like they are for children. Booooring. :P

Malaria and DDT scandal
Yea, it's illegal in America I think. We have an old bottle of Deet or whatever it was called with DDT in it...Found it in the basement. :P It messes up the enviroment big time, I was told. People are gonna' die in Africa. It's a bad place. You can shove billions of dollars in there and people are still going to die. I don't understand why *NOW* this is such a huge issue. It isn't like people just now started dropping dead. Something like 75% of people in most parts of Africa have AIDS and everyone is spending money to keep them alive longer...I just don't get it. We can't even keep people in the states and stuff alive. Anyways, I don't blame Europe. Looking out for yourselves is nothing to be ashamed of. Infact, we'd all be a lot better off if we did just that. :P Have no fear, Bill Gate's and Warren Buffet's money is on the way soon. Go go AIDS medicine! Stay alive to spread the disease! :P

You don't use your mic on WoW. Someone already told you that. You use it on Ventrilo/Teamspeak. If you're not in a raiding guild, don't bother, you'll have no use for it. Fishing trainer's are by most bodies of water. If you're an elf, it's in Darnassus by the water area.

Your Parents, Your Future
My dad always jsut told me to get a job that didn't involve labor because of what he does. He's a General Contractor, and unlike 90% of General Contractor's, he actually does work. He has zero employee's. He build's houses single-handedly, rain, snow, sun, whatever, he's always working, and he doesn't get paid nearly enough. If people got paid based on what work they did, doctor's would be broke and my dad would be extremely rich. :P So yea, my parents never had any aspiration's for me to become something. That's for pompous soccer mom's and rich dad's. My parent's don't have the time nor novelty to push their child into some extravagant career. I wanted to do 3D animation/graphic design, but I'm not very good at art. I have the vision, but getting it from my head to paper is extremely hard for me. I never took art class seriously enough...I want to take some art classes and see if that helps, but if it doesn't, I'll probably be forced to do some type of job I won't like. That, and every moron under the face of the sun wants to get into the gaming industry because they think it's all about playing video games 24/7, so I probably won't waste my time. It was my aspiration to create upon gaming legacies by making them even better with my own vision's, but it'll never happen. I feel my mind is a wasted peice of crap because all I usually think about while playing a game is "I wish this feature was like this instead.." or "If I made this game, I would have added X feature...It would have made the game more complete." rather than actually playing a game for what it is. I feel that game companies today are rushing out the crappiest money-makers imaginable, and it's getting tiring. Just once I'd like to create a game I could play forever and not wish something else was added to it. Game sequel's with added content = lame money makers. Do it right the first time. So yea...I guess it's Construction for me.

You'll make most of your money off of health/mana potions I believe. On the server I played on, 5 health/mana potions (majors) would go for like 10 gold, lol.

how will the world end
Exactly. Our world's chance of survival after 4.5 billion-ish years from now is 0%. :P We'll have to go elsewhere if we're even around by then. I hear Alpha Centauri is nice this time of year.

Running out of gas?
And to think us American's complain about $2.89 a gallon or whatever it is right now. Which it is indeed bullcrap, because a couple years ago I remember it almost getting to $2.00 and people were screaming the end of the world. :P Cheapest gas I've seen so far was around 6 years ago in Atlanta, Georgia for $0.67 per gallon. :P WTB those days back! Maybe if you guys start measuring in gallons, the price will go down! ...Just a theory.

End of the World? or a Hoax?
It's a viral marketing POS. I have no doubt in my mind that it will be something along the lines of Pepsi, Ebay, a movie, etc. Why they can't just say "Hey, you're a fatty I see. Want some sugar-water? Of course you do!" is beyond me.

Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars! Its official
*Shrug* More looking forward to Spore and Supreme Commander. ...And Dark Crusade .....And Mark of Chaos... I think that's it....$200 right there, plus a new computer just to play them. I'm screwed. :(

End of the World? or a Hoax?
They never predicted the world would end then. Their calander just stops. Noone thought that MAYBE they just got bored of making dates they'd never reach, or they just stopped caring, now do they?

OH NO! The ghosts! O_O
Uhh.... The Universe is estimated to be 14 billion years old. That makes the radius of the Universe some 14 billion light years wide, and the diameter 28-ish billion light years wide. I'm assuming the Universe is a giant Sphere, since "The Big Bang" would release energy and matter in all directions, there is really no other "shape" it could be. Assuming your theory were possible, this "matter" would have to be traveling faster than the speed of light, which is impossible in itself. The Universe is expanding at the speed of light, therefore your "matter" would never be able to catch up. The Universe would have to be not expanding at all, and I'd love to see you tell that one to scientists............. First of all how do you know the universe is 28BLY wide. And no its not impossible to go faster than the speed of light. I'm assuming it's 28 billion light years wide, because I am assuming it is a sphere. It could be a half-sphere and then only be 14 billion light years wide, but that would mean there would have to be a force outside of the Universe, which most scientists agree, there probably isn't anything outside of it. Infact I believe I read that to ask what is "outside" of the Universe is a meaningless question. And yes, it isn't possible to go faster than the speed of light. I believe Einstien's theory of relativity makes it impossible. So to put it bluntly, it's physically impossible.

1. Depends. It's an awesome game, that's all I can say. 2. You can have more than one guy for your $15/month. 3. It's more complex than RS. But it's easy to learn. They introduce you to the game's dangers semi-slowly. 4. I have a Radeon 9250 and 750mb of RAM and I ran it fine, without lag. I only lagged when first entering major cities (Ironforge, Orgrimmar) for a couple seconds, then I was fine, and also in MAJOR fights, like when there is 100+ people fighting at the Crossroads or something, and once I loaded it up, it wasn't very laggy anymore.

The Universe is expanding at the speed of light, therefore your "matter" would never be able to catch up. The Universe would have to be not expanding at all, and I'd love to see you tell that one to scientists. It's just another completely dumb thing disbeliever's grasp at to explain what people see. A much easier explaination would be to say it's people's subconscious playing tricks on them, but noooo, we have to make up some huge scientific theory that essentially sounds moronic. That said, I have a genuinely "haunted" house myself, actually. I even have a picture of the family who lived here before, in the late 1800's, early 1900's...They had a little girl who fell out of her window (my room...great...) and died, and in their "family picture" you can see a white-ish smokey (it's a friggin' ghost, how else can I explain it?) little girl who appears to be either just standing there, in a dress approperiate of the era, or spinning around in the yard, while the rest of the family is standing on their porch. They make no indication that this "little girl" as we call her is there, such and laughter, smiles, pointing, anything. Infact I don't think a single one of them is smiling. :P People have argued with me before that it's double-exposure or it's smoke from the camera man's cigarette (assuming he even smoked, and then assuming he was smoking while taking the picture ) and even went so far as to say I made it myself, even though I have limited computer knowledge and ZERO photo editting knowledge. I know how to use MSPaint, that's it. :( :Edit: - I thought I should add, I got this picture from a history museum in Minnesota. For a small price, you can go to the place and get a picture of your house way-back-when if they have one. They happened to have one of ours from the family photo apparently, and we bought it and noticed years later that the "little girl" was there. I should scan it and post it...*shrug* Plus, multiple member's of my family have seen and heard this "little girl" in my house and we all joke about it. I've seen her in our kitchen, where she ran right past me after a drawer I was going to open opened by itself. This also happened to my mother (the drawer thing) several times. My mother has never SEEN her, that I know of, but she has heard her laughing in my room before when I wasn't home. It woke her up and when she came to look, noone was in here, so she looked outside and there were no children around, so she was confused. That was the first "encounter" anyone had, I believe. I have yet to have seen/heard her in my room. My mom also has had her pull on her blanket's while she was sleeping, as if to wake her up. My dad also has seen her in our upstairs hallway (outside mine and their rooms) once. My uncle was sleeping here one night and also saw her running around the coffee table as if she were playing. He said "What are you doing?" to "her" because he thought it was very early morning (was still dark outside) and one of my cousin's little friend's was sleeping over, so he thought it was her. When he asked this, she just kept running around the coffee table and eventually stopped. He had closed his eyes and when he heard her stop (yes, she was making noise, foot steps and such) he opened them and she was gone. In the morning he assumed it was my cousin's friend and asked her what the heck she was doing, and she said she wasn't doing anything of the sort of what he explained. My mom then simply said "Oh, so you met the little girl ghost, did you?" and we all laughed at him. He thought we were joking. :P Finally, she can also get kind of angry sometimes, I think. Our phone was thrown from it's charger onto the floor once. EVERYONE saw that and noone wanted to touch the phone, lol. A candle was also pushed onto the floor with force. These things didn't "fly" accross the room, but they didn't simply "fall" either. They went just as you'd expect a small child to throw something, kinda' wussy-like. :P The phone only ended up 2 feet away and the candle was probably a bit more because it was higher off the ground. If anyone wants to say I'm lying, you may feel free, but I've told this story on tip.it before aswell. Couple years back, I'm sure. If anyone has an explaination for those two events alone, I'd love to hear them. Keep in mind gravity couldn't have played a part (our phone is on a desk, as is the candle, they're not hanging on the wall). So yea...I'm done. Enjoy reading.

gpa
2.7 gpa means, "Stop playing RS, start studying." :P What is 2.7...Like a C- average? I dunno, my school didn't use 4.0 system, they used a 11.0 system (wtf...) for some reason. I never understood it either. One year I got an A, some B's and some C's and I had a 5.7 or something out of 11. That's 50%. That's failing. I've never failed anything...Ever... :?

Gruesome Coloumbine footage...
I tried to watch it again, I failed. :P It's just too freakin' twisted. And this is coming from someone who wouldn't usually think that of ANYTHING. Throw a nasty horror movie at me, I shall laugh in it's face! But this...Oh man, just not right.

Gruesome Coloumbine footage...
I wasn't sure if he was talking or not. :o I gathered that voice might have been from an intercom or something, I have no idea, but it was annoying me. :P I was trying to hear what they were saying. They said a lot of twisted stuff. I hope this crap never happens again, it's scary stuff. If it ever happened at my school, I would have been one of the first ones to go, so I'm glad it didn't.

worst sunburn ever
I don't burn very badly, but I do remember a friend who did one year.. He stayed out in a pool (water reflects even more sun right on you, yippie!) for around 6 hours, and when he came out, he said he felt sick, so he went to sleep...When he came out of his tent, he said he felt even worse and he had blisters all over his body. It was nasteh. :P

Yea, I'm sure the link will be deleted. It's not very approperiate and statistically, there is at least ONE freak-o here crazy enough to repeat it. :P
