I've changed my plans. WoOt. I will now take me maximum a month to gain 91 RC :XD: I like my new plan better than the old one (which was to craft around 500k deaths by using the abyss, 3-4 months of work). I was affraid I would not be able to succeed at my goal, due to the very long time it takes to gain, but now I am certain I will be able to make it.

Some smoother animations would be nice.

Fur stall until your lvl 38. After that you can pickpocket master farmers, but at first you will probably miss a lot, if you think u miss too much, pump the thieving to 40+ before pickpocketing the farmers.

I set my recoveries on my nub on the same day that u o_O Haha 1 chance on 360 of that happening, and even less chances of that happening on the same year, and even less chances that I would read this post and notice this, haha. And also, those recovery questions were on the day I started playing Rs, idk if u changed ur questions afterwards, but if not, our characters were born the same day :XD:

I noticed you get a lot more chances of getting mimes while standing still doing nothing, and doing combat (especially daggannoths and shadow warriors).

can you come up with accurate stats now? and not something based off of your friends or people youve seen? not saying your wrong either. but no good backup points We can't get any backup points, it all depends on how many hours you play, how much you're efficient, etc. If you feel like doing some scientific calculations using the exp tables, the calculators, etc, go on and have fun. Compare and try to find out which one has the slowest exp per hour assuming the people use the fastest methods for each skills. Mining wins by far anyway, I personally feel no need to bore myself doing such things. Also, I remember reading from 2 or 3 miners that their maximum exp was 40k an hour. But it might be a little higher if you mine granite. Rc deaths would be around 10k exp an hour, but the exp would be more quick if you use the world 66 law company, etc. Slayer exp depends on which slayer master you use, which assignments you get, etc. Farming, no clue, sounds complicated to calculate. But I'm positive that it would be more than 40k exp an hour by planting magic trees and palm trees (which would cost insanely a lot of money). See, what you're asking for is not as simple. And you also have to take in account farming and Rc can be bought, while slayer and mining cannot. But go on and calculate all that if you want rofl :XD: Haha and this is just a forum thread, it not as if this actually mathered.

I read a thread about how long, hard and boring it is to train mining. The guy trained during 5 months in order to get from lvl 70 to 85. That's not even for lvl 99 mining, which would really take forever. Lvl 99 farming would take something like 5 months for someone not overly rich. Lvl 99 slayer would take like 8-10 months? My friend took around 6 months to gain 85 slaying, and she was online all the time, so I'm assuming the time based on that. Lvl 99 Rc, maybe around 5-8 months, depending on the way you train it. Mining wins.

That's interesting. I didn't know you could get it that easily. When I find some time, I'll train it. My plan would be: 1 to 59 Whatever 59 to 67 Red salamanders 67 to 80 Blk salamanders 80 to 99 red chicompas I would try out blk salamanders if there's not too many pkers, if there's too many, red salamanders. I think going from 59 to 80 with salamanders is better than going with chicompas. You won't make as much profit, but you'll safe some time. And time is money that you can use to catch more red chicompas ;)

Well, I believe that if your near your computer, your not AFK training. There's nothing wrong with multitasking.

As everyone said, use super compost. You can make it with pineapples, watermelons, etc. I found super compost a good way to get rid of guam leaves and low lvl herbs that end up in my bank, because the super compost is worth around 1k each, while those herbs are around 500gp, so it's actually profitable to rid get of them that way :lol: And if you use super compost for your herbs, you don't have to watch them grow for 75 mins, just go do something else. :XD:

For some reason, march has always been a good month for me. I'm happier because spring is coming, there's more sun outside, I get a week off due to march break and everyone is more relaxed for the rest of the month due to that. My first Rs character was made in march 2002. This one was made on the day of easter :) Perhaps Rs is no exception, I dont know if there's good things coming out this month, time will tell. Behind the scenes say some things, but not the important details that make an update a success or not.

I'm sure Jagex, how crazy they might be, would not ban for going to get a glass of water, or being AFK for a small amount of time. You get aprox. 60 seconds before being kicked out of the server when you're AFK, therefore, the rule would be not to try to stay online after those 60 seconds, if you're not doing anything, or if you're trying to train your character while your away. But even in those cases, AFK training would not be inefficient since agressive monsters get a cooldown period in which they are not agressive and you would get logged out. I'm not sure if bandits apply to that, do they have cooldown periods? Never noticed. In all cases, the rule seems to apply to serious cases, such as using a program to make all the work for you, or being outside of your house while your character trains, lol.

Make yew longbows until you can make magic longbows. Magic shortbows will make you lose money, and we don't want that. Strung magic longs sell for around 1.3k ea to players.

Buy a couple of pure rune essence. Bring 28 unoted ess to world 99, go on entrana island, trade with any of the crafters in the blue robes, they will give you 28 laws. Go back to the bank, bank the laws, get more essence, and repeat. For world 66, you do the same thing, but bring 27 unoted ess, the crafters in the zamorak robes will give you back 27 noted ess, aswell as 27 laws. If you want to get some exp on the way, you could runecraft some chaos runes (f you have the required RC lvl) and you would make 100k profit an hour, aswell as getting some Rc exp to be able to craft nats or laws in the future.

If order to gain maximal profit: Do the royal trouble quest, don't worry, it's easy Put 750k, and 75k more per day you leave the money in. 1.5m for 10 days. Come back everyday to make sure your aproval rate stays at 100%. If you're short on money, you could runecraft some runes, which is decent money, pick flax, mine, fish, etc. It's not worthwhile if you don't put 1.5M in. GL =)

This is what I would do if I were you. You will need to drop a lot of items to be able to function with the tiny f2p bank, you might need to drop actually more stuff than what I have put X's on.

I don't think they lowered the chances. I'm 98% sure ;)
