  1. The Warrior's Guild food and potions were great but with Jagex's new anti-botting scheme, there was no way they could keep them that cheap and keep an infinite stock of them. However they seemed to have raised the prices to the point where no one will buy them at all. If the food and potions were mainly intended for people to use to get Tokens or fight the Cyclops for Defenders, then they should put them back at their original prices, but make them so that you can't take them outside the Guild. If the point was to offer cheap potions and food (in limited supply) as a reward for being able to enter the Guild, then they should do like they just did with Pineapples and Battlestaffs.
  2. With the Barrows Brothers, it doesn't matter which attack style is your best, it only matters what they are weak too. Dharok, Verac, Guthan, and Torag all have very high Melee defense and almost no Magic Defense. So even though you can hit higher with Melee, you won't against these guys.
  3. Build Equipment Helmet - Black mask Change Amulet - Amulet of strength Change I like Fury: -2 Str, but +10 Att, +15 Def, and +5 Prayer Body - Guthan's platebody Change I like Fighter Torso. Better Slash Def than Granite Plate and +4 Str Legs - Dragon plateskirt Change Boots - Dragon boots Change Gloves - Combat bracelet(4) Change Finish RFD and get "Barrows" gloves Ring - Nothing Change Always wear a ring. Zerker, Warrior or ROW are your best choicest Cape - Obsidian cape Change Fire Cape is best, but Achievement Capes are no different from Obby until you get them trimmed (+4 Prayer) Weapon - Dragon scimitar Change Fine if you are training Strength, otherwise a Whip Shield - Rune defender Change
  4. I have always heard the two roulette wheel description and always thought that the second wheel was for "rare" drops, depending on the monster. But recently I have been seeing official responses from Jagex on other sights stating that the second wheel is only for Dragon drops and that a ROW would increase your chance of getting a better Dragon drop (if the monster drops more than one). I was suprised by this since it seems if that is the case, then the ROW has a very limited use and that we would be better off wearing the fremmy rings from the DKs to do more damage and get more kills than to wear a ROW and hope for a better Dragon drop.
  5. This sounds like a typical response from someone at Jagex who does not know the answer to your question. They give a vague answer/say it's a secret and then through in some random RS references. I doubt the guantlets have changed.
  6. Here is a simple solution to Shared Loot - Announce in the Clan Chat what the drop is. Smaller drops should go to the people that do the most work, but the big drops are the things that people share. And groups are always hesitant to add new people because they don't know if they will be honest about what the drop is.
  7. Pretty much anybody can use Veracs, you just have to try it yourself and see how it works. Obviously High Attack, Strength, Defense, and Prayer make it easier to use. Your Mage Level can also come into play if you want to kill Ahrim without prayer. Two of the main problems with Veracs are: Dharok Tunnel - Meleeing Dharok without prayer is suicidal. You need to either bring a Prayer Pot or Slayer Dart equipment to handle this situation. Personally I prefer to bring Slayer Dart Ahrim - If you kill him early, you can use Prayer on him, but he will lower your Melee stats. If you kill him last, you won't have Prayer, or you will have to use a Prayer Pot. Personally I kill him third, always have Prayer left and he almost always dies to my DDS specs so he usually doesn't mess with my stats.
  8. Unholy Book: This book is very handy, but not worth spending half your money on. Since Fire Giants dont drop clues, try pickpocketing HAM members to get level 1 clues. Most of the clues will be junk, but you will get just as many God Pages with level 1 clues as you will with level 2 and 3 clues. And sell the good items you get from the clues to get the Zammy pages you didn't get from clues. Ava's Accumulator: The accumulator picks up 90-95% of your ammo if your path is unobstructed. The Accumulator is also helpful since it's cheap and gives the best Range bonus of anything in the cape slot. Ring of Wealth: Since you can't see the effect, a lot of people hate this ring. Personally I love it since I do a lot of killing and it's the only ring that Jagex has confirmed will get you more rare drops.
  9. You brought a useless expensive item into an unknown area, you made it out safely but did not eat, bring food, or a tele. You go back in and walk past something that you knew would damage you. And to top it off, all you had to do was wait or log out for 5 minutes and you could have home teled to safety. Don't try blaming this on the 110 or the quest guide. You played very recklessly and you lost. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but just trying to tell you like it is so you don't make the same mistake again.
  10. I ranged Blue Dragons to get my recharge price down. Between Hides, Bones and Clues, I broke even at first and then started making money on my way to 180K recharges.
  11. They made Eye of Gnome untradable not too long ago. That is what the person was thinking of.
  12. I've been doing a lot of Slayer recently and I haven't gotten a Black Demon assignment in quite a while. Not sure why people are complaining about Brine Rats. They are very fast to kill and lots of Deaths, raw Lobs and raw Sharks. I wish I hadn't done that most recent quest. That 20K Slayer XP was nice, but Duradel keeps assigning those Warped Terrorbirds which is an insane assignment.
  13. Actually the best place is the Cooking Guild with Varrock 3 Armor. There is a range right next to a bank. Food burns less on a range than on a fire. If you are at the stage where you never burn what you are cooking than it doesn't matter which you use and Rogue's Den is much easier as there are no requirements to go there.
  14. Emerald Bolts(e) don't work because the bosses can't be poisoned but the Ruby should. I always use Diamond and the spec goes off frequently.
  15. The trick was to trap Bandos so that he couldn't use his Range attack so you could just use Melee Prayer and take no damage. They just changed this however.
  16. The body door in the elemental workshop is just a hint to let you know what the next part of that Quest series will be about.
  17. Dark Beasts are always aggressive, no matter how long you stay there.
  18. So Silverlight originally belonged to someone who got owned by a Moss Giant? Yeah that really makes me care about it.
  19. The Barbarian pots are useless, so consider yourself maxed in Herblore. Gratz
  20. You're not under attack at the altar so you can use any Teleport method that you want. Moonclan Teleport is easy to use since it uses the same Runes as the Ourania Teleport.
  21. Black Cavs price was stable for a long time since so many people liked to wear them. When they recently allowed you to add the Highway Man Mask to the hat, the Black Cavs price went up. Now the prices seem to be returning to normal.
  22. Even though the Hill Giants are crowded, most F2Pers leave them on the ground since most F2Pers think they are worthless. Just run around and collect when you can't find a giant to kill.
  23. OK, we know this is not new. It has been around ever since Crossbows were first introduced. We don't need to have everyone repeat that. At the time it was really interesting because the Rune Crossbows stunk and everyone wanted a Dargon/Magic one since it would be better and therefore maybe useful. When it didn't come out, people mostly forgot about this reference. Since the Crossbows have become more powerful, and since Jagex is creating new, more powerful items here recently, it's fun to speculate as to what the Dragon/Magic Crossbow would be like.
  24. As another person going for the Slayer Cape, I think your low Prayer and Agility makes it more of an accomplishment. Lots of shortcuts you miss out on and more P Pots you have to use. Slayer is already horrendously slow XP even with those advantages.
