Getting all skills to 99
Berrakus replied to llVIU's topic in BlogScape (Ongoing Progress Reports and Goals)
   I have a higher total level and I'm not even close to thinking about going for all 99's  Good luck! You definitely seem like you have a plan. If you don't mind a tip, now that you have 52 Summoning, make some Terrorbird pouches. With them you can carry 40 Granite pieces at a time. Not sure if you are banking in Edgeville or CW, but there is an Obelisk near each to recharge your Summoning points. -

Jagex never said that they would allow unrestricted trading on new objects. A Jmod posted on the RSOF that Jagex would create a "generous" starting price and that the trading restrictions on these new items would be temporarily loosened. Unrestricted trading would totally undermine everything that they have done to stop RWTs. Imagine: RWT trades a pouch to a Money Buyer for 1gp. Money Buyer then sells the pouch back to the RWT for 100Mgp. But setting a starting price that is lower than the cost of materials is a total joke and is in no-way "generous". But that was just a J-Mod quote. Here is a quote from a BTS that really bothers me: We have been putting together a plan. This is a schedule of ideas for improvements that will build on a number of our changes: the Grand Exchange, new player-killing games (including other dangerous ones), LootShare, Assist System, trades and so many other things that we have introduced to combat real-world trading. We aim to have the most important improvements ready in time for the unbalanced trade removal in January, and to continue adding more throughout the start of next year. It's January, they have removed unbalanced trades, and they have provided NO improvements at all. Jagex wants to control every aspect of pricing and trading, but they have shown no ability to be able to handle the task. And today's ridiculous starting prices are just another example that they got in over their heads.

Nope, its all random. Farming Level has no effect at all except to dictate what you can attempt to grow.

It would be nice, but I don't think Jagex would go for it. If they want you to be able to stack your drops, they make the drops noted. And they provided ways to send items to your bank (Imp Boxes).

There are many reasons for the rise in Pure Ess price. 1) People realized that this was an autoer-supplied resource and they want to stockpile Pure Ess for their own use once the autoers were supposedly "dead'. The same thing happened to the price of Dragon Bones and other autoer-supplied resource. 2) When many people's sources of income were ruined with the recent changes, a lot of people decided to resort back to RC, creating a [bleep]e in demand for Pure Ess. 3) People who gave up on RC because of the PKers suddenly went back to the skill when the PKers were removed causing another increase in demand of Pure Ess. 4) Market speculators see the price of Pure Ess rising and stock up on it, hoping to sell at a later time and make a huge profit. There may be other factors but I'm sure those are the main ones.

Armadyl hilt drop

OK, so does it count now? :D -
They are also easier to use for Super Compost than Pineapples since the first option for Coconut Shells is "USE" while for Pineapples it is "EAT".

17 December 2007 - Future Changes to Recent Updates
Berrakus replied to Jordanweb's topic in General Discussion
If all items that you lend out are returned to you when the person that you lent it to dies, then any duo that likes to kill Boss monsters will just swap equipment before they go. That way if either person dies, no items are lost (except for drops that person got, but Jagex may even eliminate that with their "LootShare to GE" fix). -
It wasn't just you. I tried to bank 99 Prayer with D Bones yesterday on World 2 and about half my trades were blocked. Here is an example:

Better hurry. FFL will be dead come January. -
Jagex fills orders from multiple users. So in your case they would take your 20 and 80 more from another player(s).
-
Agreed. They hit hard and you are going to waste money on food/Prayer pots that you won't make back through their drops.

While this update may help some people curb their addiction, the sad fact is that Jagex is throwing in the towel on trying to stop autoers and real world traders and is deciding to punish everyone. After years of Jagex bragging that they have the situation under control, we get the unlimited stock in Stores update quickly followed by this update.
-
I agree that Jagex is not doing a good job of keeping up with prices. Also, Jagex needs to up the limit of things we can put into the exchange. Even with the initial hype and everyone clearing their banks, it's still next to impossible to buy/sell certain items. When the hype dies down, I see GE as being a place where only very common items are bought and sold.

Actually for Slayer, if an NPC gets the kill shot, you get 0 XP.
-
Exactly. Before this quest D Bones were 1.2K each. After this quest they shot up to around 2K each. Since they haven't even gotten back to the 1.2K price I don't see how you can blame the price "crash" on autoers.

Personally, I get tons of Deaths from drops, but get very few Nature drops so when I RC I usually only do Nats. Also, I know a lot of people who RC Nats or Deaths according to which side of the Abyss they randomly get thrown into.
-
There are so many assumptions about this system that you have to make no one can make an educated guess as to the true impact this system will have. Since Jagex has been a little sloppy with their updates here recently, I'm more worried about mistakes that they are going to make: Duplicate items being sold, Not getting paid for your items, etc. This has the potential to be really bad at first.

The armors are just existing armors that the person modified (badly) in a Paint program. For example the armors on the end of both rows are just differently colored Enchanted Robes. It's a scam and do not respond to it.

Nice drops. Gargoyles are a very hit or miss assignment. -
You won't make much selling the artifacts and selling them slows your XP/hr down. The "good money" comes from getting and selling sceptres and that totally depends on how lucky you are.
