smithing. i spent ages just getting it to 63. and it is a horrible way to make cash. even at 99 smithing, the rune miner makes more than the smither.

I agree. there are tons of inconsiderate people who train slayer. I always ask people whether i can set the cannon up at the dagganoths, and i try to avoid using it in other popular training places like the black demons. I try to make changes to my strategies to compensate for ignorant people, and it usually works.

you really have no better way to waste time? i find this post kind of immature since it is obviously a direct reference to the american civil war. It's really not funny to joke about wars. yeah i edited it :lol: sorry bout that. I am really not an ignorant person, but most american schools are ignorant to other countries. NO, do not do this. 4 dose potions always sell for a worse deal, take longer to make, and have less demand. if i were going to make a potion to lose as little cash as possible i think id make something like regular energy restore pots. prayer pots are also good though. if you do this, but the herbs 6k to 7k ea, collect the grass yourself on waterbirth(go to the northwestern area, not by the boats. it spawns faster on crowded worlds), and get the vials from ardy general store.

do not buy one now. wait for them to drop again. but the fact is any type of woodcutting isnt worth it compared to other ways of making cash.

there's no doubt it will happen. jagex, especially in the past year, has been leaving many clues about future updates. i think that the dragon pick will come out first, but it will still come out. also, like all the other crystal equipment, it will probably not be overpowered by reducing its combat speed.

what i wanna know is how dueling can be so profitable. honestly,who is going to stake 2m, or even 200m for that matter unless they are a pure/really good dueler? and how can a pure/ really good dueler expect to win almost every match when they are up against another pure/really good dueler? If i were losing money off dueling, i would stop immediately. So how can people actually make much money off dueling? i know there are lots of tricks you can pull, but theres no guarantee your opponent won't pull the same tricks as well. I mean, dueling should be a gamble. you win some you lose some. virtually the odds of you winning and losing should be equal. so how can you talk about making 1.4b like it's a walk in the park?

What do you honestly expect to earn from runescape. You are overlooking all the things that really matter. The reason you played runescape was to have fun. Along the way you met people and *gasp* probably learned something! You have personal experiences to show for the time you played runescape for. Heck, the way I look at it, if I die tomorrow for some reason beyond my control, I had a fun. I never 'wasted time' playing videogames or watching television or whatever. I did it to have fun, otherwise I wouldn't have done it. You've got to ask yourself, what really matters to you? You could work at target 20 hours a week and have a pretty big nest egg at the end of six months. You might say that you have money to show for the time you put in. You might have even gained some discipline, But it doesn't change a thing. People still won't appreciate it. It might be interesting to them, but they could never appreciate the time you put in. Your time is meaningful to nobody but you. What I'm trying to say is don't disregard it as a waste of time just because no one else appreciates the time you put in. Don't base your actions on what your friends or parents are interested in, do things for yourself. And as for this game dominating every aspect of your life, all you need to do is develop some self discipline.

just dont play when they are going to update. they only update it from 7 to 10 am eastern time generally, and on 1 day of the week. pick better times.

how bout not? if you could, you could just pull money out of thin air. as for whether this is a glitch or not, i really doubt it. jagex knows the prices of their own items. and besides, the seaweed, fruit, and soda ash are worth buying

i think people give this idea waaay too much credit. sure, it organizes bank space, but it is so complicated that it would be inefficient. nearly all of the tabs aren't necessary...

sjefderat, you weren't actually suggesting they do that, were you? those ideas were so awkward...

call me crazy but i think jagex divides players into groups when it comes to drop luck. i think they did this in pokemon, so i wouldn't be surprised if jagex did the same to runescape. what i think they do is assign each character a letter, like a, b, c, and d. each group is lucky at getting items at a different time, and on certain worlds. also, at certain times of the day, you might be lucky at getting certain things as drops. i could be wrong, i could be kinda right. but one way or another, i strongly beleive that luck in runescape is more based on a system. there are 2 reasons why i think they do this. for one, it might actually be easier to incorporate a complex system that a random drop generator program. the other reason is to possibly reward players who pick up on the system.

i disagree. i think 100 percent of runescape is, or has the potential to be challenging. a challenge is what you make of it. some people might say skilling is a mere 'test of patience', but to some people, that can give people a sense of accomplishment.
