  1. I'm always dissapointed at kurasks. lvl 70 slayer 106 (I think) combat and they drop nothing except a few coins and the occasional pineapple (for me at least) :wall:
  2. Whoa! Let's slow down a bit here. Your problem with this is that it promotes animal cruelty? When last I looked (It's amazing how much fun you can get by reading a dictionary!) shoo meant "to drive away". Now it might just be me but I have never considered shooing (notice the lack of a "t") a dog animal abuse. When ever my friends dog jumps up and tries to lick my face, I "drive it away" because I don't like having my face licked. Does this mean I abuse animals? No, of course it doesn't. If instead of a "shoo" option, Jagex had added a "mutilate" option, yeah, I would be supporting a change but they didn't. On the official forums, a Jagex mod said that you were actually blowing a raspberry at the dog! Shock horror! What is this world coming to? Lighten up, It's horrible some of the things that go on in the world but surely that just goes to show how harmless this is.
  3. Provided that you have the stats to start the quests, MEP2 is the hardest but I hate crafting so I found getting the 63 crafting to start Lunar Diplomacy difficult so that would be my choice.
  4. I used to hate metal dragons but now... Wall beasts are horrible but normally, the task is very small like 14 or so I like turoth but kurasks... Ugh, don't get me started. I exspected more from a monster that requires 70 slayer. Trolls are brilliant! great experience and a kebab shop nearby. Abberant spectres are vile as well but the one task that I hate above all others is... Dogs! Curse them!
  5. I think Jagex should give high-levels more updates. When I first started, I started to train fishing and cooking. At first, I fished shrimps and moved on to anchovies and then on to trout. By this level, the experience gaps were starting to incease and I began to get bored. When this happened, I tried combat using the cooked fish. When I found out that a trout didn't last me long, I almost quit as I thought that it was too much effort to keep fishing these, low-healing fish. Then I found out from a higher level player that lobsters could heal 12HP. 12HP!!! This encouraged me to stick with Runescape and train my skills up. Back on-topic, although lobsters only require 40 fishing to catch, they were high-level content to me as a new player. They gave me something to aim for and this kept me playing. If more high level updates were released, it would give low level players a target to aim for. This would mean that less of them would quit, increasing Jagex's profits. This means that they can cater more to high-levels, increase profits and give lower-levels something to aim for. What do they lose by doing this? Nothing! However, Jagex just wants quick cash by luring in new players and creating updates that don't require as much thought on their part. Curse Jagex's short-sightedness!
  6. I don't know if I respect mods or not. On the one hand, it shows that they have been good to the community by reporting rule breakers but on the other hand, sometimes people report things that are minor problems at best. I think if there was no silver crown next to mod's names, the average quality of reports to Jagex would sky-rocket whilst the overall number of reports would plumet. If that happened I would certainly respect mods whereas at the moment, I can't help but feel that some mods don't really deserve that crown. Just my thoughts.
  7. I think the mole always spawns in the middle after you kill it but it can wander off. Instead of initiate or proslyte armour, I've found that it's best just to use monks robes as you can run for longer. Also, an unholy book (prayer book for zammy) is good in the shield spots as it boosts your prayer, meaning that you can stay for longer before re-charging and it increases your attack. Whip FTW! Very good guide though!
  8. Wow, it's been a while since anyone posted here oh well, here are my favourite two: Welcome to Runescape Doesn't look so tough Welcome to Runescape Looks scared to see me Both are from examining jellies in the slayer dungeon.
  9. Didn't jagex say a while ago that they wouldn't be releasing d plates? In fact they made them buyable from diango to spite people.
  10. Well, I play warhammer (which for people who don't know is a game where you have lots of little figures and you move them around and roll dice and stuff). In the school club, there's about 15 people however, I'm the only one who collects dwarves. This means that I am constantly ridiculed by my "friends". (this isn't helped by the fact that I have a record 32 games without a single victory  ). However back on topic, I chose the dwarf for that reason and the 55 was put there by jagex to spite me. However, there is a player called "the dwarf", curse him!
  11. I'm really looking forward to this month but for the last few months I've been disappointed. The worst one was the jewlery update recently which I had been really looking forward to, I just hope that this one lives up to my expectations.
  12. I would say devious minds because you need 65 smithing which, for me, is a high level as I hate smithing.
  13. One word: WOW! Brilliant guide! Loved it! I'm going to go and train smithing crafting and mining right now. 10/10 =D>
  14. Pest-control is a combat mini game where a group of players has to destroy 4 portals which spawn creatures. Check out the mini-game guide.
  15. That's fine and I'm glad that you gave your reasons but as I said, it would be shown at pest-control.
  16. Hi, in runescape every day, I see high levels ignoring low levels for no reason other than their combat levels. I see high levels being arrogant to everyone in an area until an even higher level arrives and I see low levels begging to the one high level in an area when there are several other medium level players there. I challange anyone to say that they approve of these things. I think that the reason that these thing occur is that players judge other players purely on their combat levels. My solution to these things is to stop showing the combat levels of players where they are of no consequence. For example, combat levels would be shown in combat mini-games such as castle wars and pest-control, the wilderness and the dueling arena but they wouldn't be shown in banks for example. This would also stop people being prejudiced towards people when they're fighting monsters. However, I think that it is a basic desire of people to measure themselves against fellow players. For example, I love looking at other people's banks. This is why I think that if any level is shown to other players, it should be total level or total experience as these show the amount of time players have put into runescape. If you agree or disagree with this then please say so that we can discuss it but please don't flame. Thanks!
  17. Ich komme aus England aber ich liebe Deutsch! Das ist sehr gut fur mich, weil ich mein Deutsch Uben kann. However, I do think that Jagex should have brought out other languages first but hey, I'm not complaining!
  18. Lol. Brilliant. You tell those whiney rangers Jagex!
  19. Personally, I love TT and thieving. Whenever I don't know what to do on runescape I either steal or hunt jellies for lvl 3 clues. Thieving is pretty rubbish as a way to make money and I've never had a good item from TTs but I love them anyway (except those damnable Uri clues). I think that the popularity of thieving and TTs has declined slightly but not by much.
  20. so many things, so little time... 1. Beggars 2. People who use 1337 speak 3. People who trade you for no reason 4. People who use the word noob 5. People who kill the knight that I'm stealing from 6. People who use autoer programs 7. Most players in general Yes I hate the world.
  21. I was reading about this thread and then I saw the huge number of pages which I couldn't be bothered to read through so if this is repeating anything, sorry. What about siralix? His avatar is of a load of burnt monkfish and in the Tip-It Times article, it mentions a banknote of 1000 burnt monkfish... :-k
  22. Now, are they telling the truth with all these clues, bluffing, double bluffing or even being really sneaky and just bluffing in the hope that we'll think that they're double bluffing? hmmm, the plot thickens... :-k Good article BTW
  23. Nice one, reminds me of another article a while back on cheating... Keep it up!
