  1. Please, what's the point of posting your pick here? Isn't that the point of the poll itself?
  2. They update the home teleport spell. If you can't cast it, you don't get a message about how many minutes you have to wait. You just get a message "you can't cast that now". EDIT: I just logged out and back in again. And now I do get a message about how long you have to wait. I really have no clue how that's possible, maybe it has something to do with being the Lumbridge cave or something.
  3. That was announced, but only on the German site.
  4. And about the rudeness is exactly the same. There were rude high levels/pures before PC and there are rude high levels after PC. I don't see a big increase in that; the percentage of rude high levels has stayed approximately the same.
  5. The music at the log in screen changed. Possibly part of the Halloween update.
  6. First of all; one point I forgot to add in my previous post, pc is hated a lot less now. My (and probably others too) main problem was the fact you could gain range and mage xp at a very quick rate without ever shooting an arrow or casting a spell. I think that's the main reason a lot of people don't hate PC any more. What are the PMG? A disclaimer before hand: I don't know the exact rates of any training method, these are estimates. Guilded altar is exactly the same. It's way better then the ectofungus and I've yet to hear someone complaining about that. Chincompas? Only a bit complaining about that, incredible xp too. PP? (Personally I hate the last one, it makes all the "old fasion" thieving obsolete, but that's a bit too much off topic =P) What about whips, dragon weapons in general, etc. The first people got 99 stats with a R2H and full rune. I can imagine they're upset if they would have quite then and come back now, and see how easy it has become. But that's how a MMO works, as I've argued previously. Don't exaggerate, games on the 100+ boat take about 2:20 min average on world 144. So at level 110, this would result in about 27.5K per hour. in reality it's even less, because you don't win 100% of the games. I can easily make that on a slayer task, alching everything with has a high alch value of more then 350 gp. And I gain magic xp that way, I have gotten at least 100K mage xp alching drops only. For a high level, the change of dieing is so low, it's about the same for PC as for any other combat training. I think the change of dieing while lagging out when you get an evil chicken (or similar) random, dwarfs the change of dieing at any other way. And I hardly use food for training myself either (outside PC), guthan made food obsolete for high level combat training. That's why I like slayer, it's great to break up the monitory. Yes, my slayer level is quite low compared to my combat stats, but that's because I used to do a lot of barrows, do a huge amount of CW and used to do a lot of boring combat training. And you can train at bandits with hardly any attention, so you could do your homework or something similar while training. Try doing that at PC. I have yet to meat any high level who has serious incredible low knowledge about RS. Yes, I've heard all the stories, but those are just exceptions and I haven't heard them in a while either. I agree I see more "noob" outfits at PC (less firecapes, less dragon, more cheap/incomplete outfits, etc.). But does that mean they have less knowledge? Maybe they like to spend their money on something else then incredible expensive outfits/weapons. Or maybe they're just poor (which is incredible relatively). And unless you think I have very little knowledge about the game, I'd say I'm the living proof of not having to be rich to have a lot of knowledge about the game. And Philip, nice debate indeed. First time in ages I have such a good debate again. :D
  7. There are already a kazilion guides about barrows and you really have nothing new to say about it. So it's a pretty useless guide.
  8. You only forget one thing: One of the strong part of MMO's are the constant updates to the game, there is always something new. A lot of people would quit if there weren't any updates. But there are only a limited kind of updates: Totally new content (new skills, mini games, bosses, etc.) Quests Graphical and sound improvement, basically anything which has nothing to do with the game play it self (this can be argued, I know) Updating of the old content You can't live with only the first three, there has to become new updates improving the way to train a skill. Could you imagine RS without it? Getting all your xp at the same speed as in early RSC. Would you like it? I would hate it I think. So does a lot of the community. There will always be new and faster ways to train a certain skill, and that's exactly one of the strong points of an MMO.
  9. The mole isn't very "hard" to kill, just take pure sets, p pots and pray melee with your stats. But you will definitely not get anywhere near getting your money back, if you just want profit, it's probably one of the worst options out there.
  10. The question wasn't: Could a very experience fight cave person get a fire cape? The question was; could he get one, as a novice.
  11. It doesn't affect on clues.
  12. Thank you, but I don't let the lack of support go to my head too much. Okay, the turnout at the "party" got to me a little, but the lack of posts is just what blogscape has become: a place where people come to worship all of the skiller gods and ignore the rest. Look around the blogs of some of the lesser known people, most of the posts are from the person who created the blog. I did get quite a lot of posts on my 99 FM thread though (probably more than I have gotten on this blog to date...), so that made me feel a little better about that. I really disagree with you. Besides a few exception, blogscape has become a popularity contest, the one with the most friends here wins. You see certain groups of people constantly posting on the blogs of the people of their own group. People don't look at the blog or the goal itself any more, it's all about the maker of the blog. But ofcourse there have to be not popular blogs which have to die out. Otherwise there will be waaay too many blogs (there actually are already too many IMO). Yes that statement was a bit of an exaggeration now that I think about it... I actually do agree with you; it's a popularity contest. But if you notice, people with 2000+ total or are rich tend to get more posts than people without. Anyway, having said that, posts aren't actually that important to me. Documenting my progress is. Regardless of weather I get outside encouragement, broadcasting myself any my goals helps me to stick to said goals. It gives me a sense of duty to those goals, so I won't in my own weakness get bored and abandon them. Of course, but that's the goal of blogscape. People like to see things they think are hard to achieve, that's way more impressive. It's just part of having a "good". I don't care about that. I do care about the people who only post on their own and their friends blogs. That has nothing to do with having a good blog.
  13. I wonder how or whether this'll affect us, will they go more for the short term money success? But it's probably a good deal for everyone. Off topic: I never knew there is such a big playing community in Scandinavia, is that true?
  14. That's not profitable (xp wise) until 61, maybe even 71. I also suggest master farmers or guards, they're pretty good too.
  15. Huge congratulations! 80RC is totally amazing! =D> Actually the difference is less then 1kg. -.-
  16. I really advice against that, better make bodies of them too then. Tanning is extremely boring, slow and doesn't give any xp.
  17. Wachtwoord replied to cd89's topic in Help and Advice
If you're using supercompost and the magic secateurs it's more like 5-10, with extreme tops of 15+.
  18. Personally, I'd advice to just wear nothing besides whip, rune defender, gloves and ammy until you're on low health. Then put on your Dharocks and kill what ever you want to kill. Another tip is to stay near/kill the splatters, they can do a lot of damage when they explode. All the hp lowering stuff is slow/hard to get and you'll need a huge amount if you want to do some serious training, not even mentioning the banking you'd have to do to get them every few PC games.
  19. Congratulations on 98 slayer! On nub pyrefiend, lol.
  20. Good Luck with your goal, I'm not a big fan of pking, but I've also never seen a pking blog. So that's pretty interesting! :)

  22. Nah, they dropped loads, they're "only" 700-750M now.
