Directly after a burn you should wrap a thin layer of cling-film around the inflamed area and submerge it in cold water for 3-20 minutes depending on the degree.

Yes, yes yes- definitely water. No cola, no fanta, no lemonade, no BEER, no bubbly or any kind, no milk, fruit juice or squash. But the two-litre-a-day thing- don't take it too seriously, it's crap. Have a good glass whenever you're thirsty or every four hours. Including water-in-food intake that's probably about 1.2 litres per day...but whatever you do don't try and get a certain amount, let it flow...Literally! I strongly suggest taking up Badminton. It's a brilliant sport, very easy to get good at, and it's an amazing energy-sink, and I can guarantee you come away feeling on top of the world. I play roughly two hours of badminton three times a week with my dad, and it's great fun...probably how I stay thin with everything I eat! Sorry to go on but I'm sure every leisure centre in the country has badminton courts. I used to think it was a little girl's game, but I got proved wrong. \ Edit; NO LUCOZADE!!!! No no no no no no no no...I know it says 'energy refueller' or something, and it means it...Like, 37 sugars in every 500ml bottle. Keep away... :uhh:

nah, he will probably do the little things for all the other girls.... good bye In other words- allowing your husband/boyfriend to go out with about 50 other women/girls and be treated with a fraction of the respect you deserve, or find someone else? :-k :-k :-k Hard choice...

Ok, that's not true. We learn a bunch of things in American schools, and one of those things is not to stereotype other countries. admit it, Zonorhc is right. Also, and American is the the last person who should be saying "dont stereotype" When i moved to the U.S from Estonia, I was amazed at how easy school is here. It would really suck for me if I had to move back for whatever reason, school is so much harder there :ohnoes: So who's the one stereotyping now...? *coughcoughcough*

And they start throwing punches.... last I checked a 10 year old does not have the maturity to understand what love is, in any sense. Its pretty simple and I've only repeated it 4 times throughout this short but intense thread. Oh. And I wonder when you last checked... Just because you were immature and childish at 10, it doesn't mean everyone is. I'm 11, I'm (kinda) going out with someone. So, please, broaden your mind, stop focusing on sterotypes, and accept that not everyone is like you. I'd be worried if they were.

BIG BIG BIG BIG HINT; Yes, you are correct. You do need to put the name of a fish in the gap...But which one?! Find out by staring at the fish's tail. Keep looking...until you see what you're looking for...

Movie star...but then it depends on the time period. Most of the Oldie monarchs either ended up with TB or headless. WYR stay 10 or 30 years old for 10 years?

Yes, this is important. Here we have someone who really cares about the quality of what we do. Personally I do really think it'll ever happen, but if we could get a few more people to take interest in Music and Movies, then maybe. Thanks for taking your own time to do that. =D>

Ignoring is a very good policy, so I've heard.

Off-topic; 'english' is spelt with a capital E, you may want to change that. On-topic; My earliest memory was when I was nearly three in Spain. We were staying at a hotel with a swimming pool, sitting on my mum's lap in a deckchair by the side. It wasn't her fault at all, but I tilted forward, fell off her lap, and smashed my jaw into the tiles... :-k

May I just ask...how far away is your school from your home? Edit; half an hour's bus drive...probably not more than five or six miles. No reason why you shouldn't cycle, if you had a bike.

I think it all depends on how he said 'Meow,'. Personally I think he was being very annoying, but a few sharp words should deal with that. No need to arrest him.

Nothing to do with me of course but maybe the creator should get this locked. I can easily see it resulting in flaming.... :shame: I never said I wasn't a hypocrite...

Brilliant! I'm 11 too, my first a couple of months ago. I want to know all!

Well thanks. O:) To be honest, though, I'm getting really sick of the segregation 11- year olds have to suffer. It's like, someone my age says Hi, everyone answers, then ten minutes later everyone's like 'OMG 9 yrold horndogs wid no life! noob!'

Well. I was out riding, with just one other person with me. We were near a road in a large open park. The road was quite busy, but luckily we were quite a long way from it. I would say I'm quite an expierienced rider; I can gallop (just about!) and jump 3ft. But I'm not very strong, and they'd been lots of dogs yelping, which really upset my pony. The last straw was when a car backfired in the road and he reared, then ran out into the road. I fell off to the side and nearly broke my shoulder. I don't quite know how but my pony managed to step on my helmet. Thank god I wasn't hurt and he was tiny! Later on there was a dusty hoofprint on my helmet and a large dent. For sure, if I hadn't been wearing it I wouldn't be typing this.

1 GB = 1000 MB. 512 MB = 0.512 GB Accccctually, 1 GB = 1024 MB 512 MB = 0.5 GB so... is that a decent amount of memory? how many songs can it hold? i'm asking becauz wen i bought it, they gave me the wrong book... i hav a Creative MuVo micro N200, but they gave me a Creative MuVo V200 instead... :? Decent? Yes.. Although depending on your library it may not be enough.. My 512mb shuffle says it can hold about 120 songs but I've got 140 songs on it. It all depends on the size of each song... iPod (normal) Average of 15,000 songs. iPod mini Average of 750-2000 songs. iPod nano-120-500 songs. I think those are the rough guidelines to the amounts, but I may be wrong. :

Hi guys. I'm 11, a boy in my class had a crush on me for a couple of years, but I didn't find out till last week when we were on holiday together! Actually, alot of my classmates came on holiday with me because we were breaking up to go to secondary. Anyway he was talking to one of my girlfriends and she asked him 'Do you have a crush on anyone?' A typical thing for her to say...anyhow she got it out of him in the end...So I suppose I didn't really have a crush on him, but he was a super-duperly special friend. I've never thought there could be more to it. #-o He eventually worked up the courage to talk to ME about it (DUH!) and asked me whether I'd go out with him. Naturally I didn't know what to say...I'm only 11 and it seems a bit young for your first relationship? Well, in the end I said YES! but no I dunno...he seems a bit awkward about it. Sorry about that!:) My Advice; talk to one of her friends about it. Hopefully they'll understand. If they do you could ask her to ask the crush whether she'll go out with you.

To be honest I'll never feel sorry for anyone who gets drunk enough to treat on the girl they love at fourteen... My advice; Try and stop drinking ( \ ), find yourself another girlfriend. What her parents said is completely reasonable; if I had a daughter, or a sister or whatever(which I don't), I wouldn't want her going out with you. Especially when you're drunk.
