A Scanner Darkly
I think it is the most visually-pleasing movie I've seen. I rank it #1 movie I saw in 2006.

Apocalypto
I thought it was fantastic...I put it at #2 best movie of 2006 (or at least of those I saw)

Eragon
spoilers I saw it too and was very disappointed. I had just finished reading both books, so the story was very fresh in my mind. It was very, VERY loosley based on the book. They didn't set up for a 2nd movie (no mention of Roran's girl Katrina, no mention on Eragon going to train with elves, Ajihad didn't die, etc.), tho I guess it could be possible. What really ruined it for me actually, was the kid that played Eragon...I just didn't like him. He was ok for the 1st half, where Eragon is supposed to be young, innocent, and weak, but by the end he still looks like a little pretty boy. On the other hand, I also Apocalypto this weekend, which was fantastic!

Thieving - Peak Experience Per Hour Chart
My experience at PP is similar to yours (I'm 86). I think the best I ever had was 12k or so, but most were under 10k as you said. One thing I realized tho is that it is a lot harder by yourself. If someone else is going through the rooms with you, you have much better chance of finding the correct door sooner. With (2) people, at worst it'll be the 3rd door for you (you check 2 doors, both wrong, they find it on their 2nd...you never have to click the 1st door they checked). Back on topic, it had been so long since I pp'd, that when I tried my gloves of silence, I had a hard time deciding if they helped much. I used to have some data on success rates of knights and paladins that I did back when I was in lvl 70's...I'll see if I can find that.

Christmas Punk Covers?
There's an album called Sleighed...it's not all punk, but some. Also there's Punk Rock Christmas, plus some other random single songs, like Bad Religion's Joy to the World (no, seriously)

Dragonforce
My hair grew long just listening to one song...lol. I wouldn't say they're unique tho...pretty much sound like the other 100's of D&D-style metal bands I've heard.

Unique Artists
Skindred - Metal/Reggae - a combination of genres I never thought I'd hear, but these guys pull it off in fantastic fashion.

Best movie of 2006
I'm gonna have to go with A Scanner Darkly. Tho, I must admit I have not seen The Departed yet. And I agree that this was a pretty weak year for "great" movies. *EDIT* - I'm revising to add Apocalypto, which I saw on Saturday. I thought it was very good, though I think I'll give it #2 behind Scanner.

Greatest Musicians The World Has Ever Known *updated*
I think Bob Marley and Danny Elfman need to be added as individuals and Oingo Boingo and Madness as bands

your 5 greatest Metallica songs
For me there's only one Metallica album :) 1. Fade to Black 2. Creeping Death 3. Ride the Lightning 4. For Whom the Bell Tolls 5. Call of the Ktulu or Trapped under Ice or Fight Fire with Fire or Escape...lol, guess that covers the whole album. ok, I'll concede that Master of Puppets is good too

What are you listening to right now!?
The Living End - Closing In (great song...reminds me of Stray Cats)

The last film/tv program/song to bring you to tears
I think it's harder to find songs with this sort of impact. There's (2) for me off Yellowcard's Ocean Ave album. 'Believe' is a great song about firefighters in World Trade Center. Also, 'View from Heaven' for personal reasons...I was listening to it a lot when a close friend of mine passed away a few years ago.

The last film/tv program/song to bring you to tears
Yes, that was his brother-in-law, not son...pretty touching episode. United-93 definitely brought tears to both me and my wife. Also, several parts of Band of Brothers. Specifically, the 1st episode in Bastogne, when the nurse gets killed and the episode with the death camp.

views on farming?
I enjoy farming...actually, it's my 2nd highest ranked skill at ~7000. What I've always liked is that it gets you moving around the world...seems like a less stagnant skill because of that.

Christmas is Coming, and I Don't Know What I Want.
They just ported FEAR to xbox 360...haven't played it, but heard it's good. Also, I believe Call of Duty 3 is out for 360. Oblivion expansion comes out next week. (edit...oops, I guess that'd be for PC only...unless there's downloadable 360 content) As for movies, maybe Indiana Jones box set?

Hardcore...
I understand what you are saying...that it is called that there. I was simply trying to make the point that "hardcore" means something completely different here...It's hard to define...hardcore music is well, hardcore...lol. I didn't mean to imply that you don't have the right to call it hardcore (heck, call it rap if you like). It's just when I saw the topic and listened to the songs, it shocked me that anyone would call that hardcore. Cultural differences :)

Hardcore...
I'm glad someone clarified that you're talking about some sort of dance/techno/trance genre, cuz thos samples are nowhere near what I would call hardcore. Round here, hardcore is heavy sounding metal or punk, typified by rough, deep vocals. As a couple examples: http://myspace.com/champion I do agree with that music you're talking about all sounds the same to me. Every single song in that genre I've ever heard sounds almost exactly like the first one I heard in clubs back in late 80's. As for that dancing...looks like riverdance to me. I don't see how it's hardcore at all. I've seen skacore skanking that's way more "hardcore" than that.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Rest Stop - A straight to DVD horror/thriller. It sounded like a cross between Hostel and Wrong turn...I thought it had a great basic plot, but it ended up being unsatisfying. I really wanted to like the movie...it had the right elements: creepy and weird. There's a couple disturbing scenes, tho not as much as Hostel. What ruined it for me was the stupid decisions that main character made (stuff like dropping the only weapon she had at the time...a tire iron) and also there was some major parts of the plot that go unexplained...the girl meets a couple different people, then they disappear and it's never explained why. All in all, I guess it wasn't too bad for a fairly low-budget horror flick, I just found myself annoyed with it by the end.
