  1. The People under the Stairs: "Burn in Hell!"
  2. I think it's interesting and could maybe be added if it was a isolated land area. But rather than speculate on whether it could fit into RS, for the fun of it let me add: Tridents! Quest for Golden Fleece Philosophy skill (just kidding)
  3. Yeah! That would be best. The abyss users are now free to keep on rcing and pkers are getting higher chance of getting kills :) nope...abyss skulls you
  4. and cactus spines

KB says 52xp. It's right below silver, so I'll guess about 25 secs for respawn
  6. I think this is interesting and would be fun. However, there would still be inflation, because of ability to sell to shops, but your ideas would greatly reduce the inflation rate. The alc'ing seems way extreme...maybe high-alc is equal to max shop price (0 in stock) and low-alc is like 75% of that. Let me throw out another idea: What if you had a limited number of skills, ala typical RPGs? For argument sake, say 10 skills. Everyone would have Att, Def, and HP...you pick the other 7. I think it would create an interesting economy and more reliance on interacting with other players. I.e. - if you have fletching, but not wc, you have to buy your logs from the wc'ers. Of course, combat lvl formula would have to be re-worked and players would have to be limited to 1 account.
  7. I know...a bit overwhelming...be sure to check these out: Bigwig Thought Riot Strike Anywhere A Wilhelm Scream Aiden Anti-Flag Rise Against The Hollowpoints Stretch Armstrong Ten Foot Pole and of course: Social Distortion Descendents Since you like Lagwagon, try Bad Astronaut...a little mellower, but good...singer = Joey from Lagwagon
  8. Whoops...tnx I cut and pasted from my (edit: website space with lots of friends and bands...you know...)...tried to remove non-punk, such as Oingo Boingo, but obviously missed a few. There's also some that are definitely more hardcore than punk and probably some celtic/irish or country with punk influence (i.e. - Lucero).
  9. It takes two to scam: the scammer and the scammed Personally, I don't think Jagex should do any more than they already do. I've played this game for 4+ years and have never been scammed. Why not? Because I don't let myself be taken advantage of. I'm not saying it hasn't been attempted on me, I just don't fall for it.

  11. I'm not into ska as much as I used to be, but I still like Glow Skulls and Catch 22. I've seen Glow Skulls several times...first time in like '92 at a small party in Cali. Actually, an old friend of mine sang for them for a few months back in '90 or so.
  12. No better place than Rogue's Den wall safes that I know of. Way better than gem stall (what a disappointment) that's for sure.

Your combat stats are well over mine (41def and 53 hp) and I've never had problems with the abyss monsters while wearing green d-hide, coif, steel boots, and def ammy (sometimes I have to eat a lob or 2 when I get back to edgeville). So, that should give you an idea of what to bring (or not to). Bear in mind that I'm only combat lvl 61, so I've never ran into any pk'ers that can get me. I carry mith axe with me (for chopping canoe at Lumb to get to Edge...I can't recharge glory) and use it on tendrils to get to center.
  14. No transfer of accounts from RS2...make everyone start over. As long as they kept 2 running, no one could really complain (other than saying I'm not gonna play 3). I'm not sure if I would actually like it or not, but it would make things interesting.
  15. Awesome! 100% correct...I'm impressed :) And, of course, your's is Footloose (just watched it last weekend...LOL) Here's another: "That's disgusting, Wyatt" "That's Chet, Gary"
  16. See if you all can get these: 1. "Did your mother marry Mr. Rogers?" "No, Mr. Johnson" 2. "So, what is your major?" "Poetry." "Oh, maybe you can help be straighten out my Longfellow." 3. Next 2 from same movie: "Fronch dressing. Fronch fries. Fronch bread. And to drink....Peru!" "You see, the problem here is that my little brother this morning got his arm caught in the microwave and...uh my grandmother dropped acid and she freaked out and hi-jacked a school bus full of penguins so you see it̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s kind of a family crisis, so come back later? Great." "I want my 2 dollars!" 4. "I'm Dr. Troubridge and this is Dr. Greenbaum" "-berg" "Greenbaumberg, we're doctors" 5. "Chester Copperpot, Chester Copperpot, Chester Copperpot. Don't you guys see, don't you realize? He was a pro. He never made it this far. Look how far we've come. We've got a chance." 6. "Dogs and cats living together! Mass hysteria!"
  17. Attack: Stab 0 Slash 0 Crush 0 Mage -3 Range -1 Defence: Stab +12 Slash +13 Crush +14 Mage 0 Range 0
  18. I've done a bit of the tele to Lumby and boat up to Edge...it's fairly efficient. I was doing nats and it seemed about as fast as using general store, but without the headache of having your ess swooped. IMO, the fastest xp (excluding runners) is rc'ing fires with dueling rings.
  19. I'm relatively an old fart...32
  20. I think it's a great idea (I'm 32). I found the original post on official forum...it was kinda funny, cuz someone immediately proved the need for this, by posting extremely immature comments.
  21. yet another person learns the lesson of NOT TRUSTING ANYONE in Runescape. I'm sorry for your losses, but hopefully you will make sure this kind of thing doesn't happen again. If I were you, I'd invest in some Ring of Lifes. Not sure if I'd call this a scam tho, more like assisted suicide :)

Going to see Social D next Sunday in PDX...I'm very excited! This is a great week for new album releases: Good Riddance - My Republic (bought it at lunch today...very good) Billy Talent II Rise Against - new comes out on the 4th as a recommendation: Bigwig - Reclamation...rocks! Best album of the year so far. I'll take this opportunity to say myspace is awesome for finding new bands. My hard drive now contains 300+ punk bands

In my experience, fastest xp at any level above 55 is knights. Their success rate is way better than anything else. Can't do paladins until 70...and success rate on them is pretty horrible until 80-85 (even then not great). Don't bother with gnomes or Yanile Watchmen...just stick with knights. I've done several full levels at wall safes and master farmers too. So, if you want to mix it up a bit (knights can get boring), I'd suggest one of those.
  24. not always about making money...this is pretty good xp. 1M gp will get you 10k iron ores. That's 550k smithing xp...if high-alc 2k iron plates, you could get back 672k gp and get 130k magic xp. Of course, there's the cost of nats to consider, but if he RC's them... Tho, I think I'd rather smelt gold with smithing gaunlets for 56.25xp each.
