  1. Air battlestaffs (or is it Battlestaves?) However, I hate obtaining the plain battlestaffs. IMO, battlestaffs and glassblowing need an update!

yes, they are quite well-known. Personally, I like At the Drive-in better, but Mars Volta is good.
  3. no point in enchanting...can't imagine trying to sell 22k Str ammys...LOL. You could steal your own gems from wall safes, but 22k would take a long time. I'd say sell like 5-10k bars for 300-400ea, then buy gems with the money, or sell them all, or just make gold ammys. BTW - I'm curious, did you buy the ores or mine em?
  4. To me, it seems that complaining about the interface graphics is comparable to complaining about your favorite sport team's uniform....does it really matter? Will they play any better or worse?...No.
  5. I think you answered your own question by defining AFK
  6. we can only hope....
  7. Low Rider by War...just thinking of it makes me want to go home and watch Dazed and Confused...LOL
  8. when did the price of ess go down?!?! :)
  9. I think this is 9 days worth...had 100% coal / 50% maples, then switched for last 3 days, I think. 100% approval every day. I'm pretty stoked about 2 magic seeds and 1 spirit
  10. I agree with Pirate Hook. BTW - 1k tix is 320k xp, so 800 is equivalent to 256k agility xp. :)
  11. My point was that the high level items keep lower levels interested as much as high levels (possible even more so) and also attracts more new players. By introducing more higher level items (or high level skill usages) the interest and attraction is even greater.
  12. I think your logic is a bit flawed. What do new players strive for (what keeps them playing)? Training to a point at which they can use better items. What new player says "I can't wait until my attack is high enough to use steel weapons!"? Nobody...it's more like, "I can't wait until I can use dragon weps or a whip". Now imagine there's something even better. The point being: the better the "best" items are the more enticing the game is and also the more people will play and continue to play. That includes both high combat levels and new players. I think this also applies to skills and not just combat and items. For example, if they suddenly released something really good to do with firemaking at level 90, everyone will want to raise that skill and newer players will find the game more interesting have another thing to work towards and keep them interested in the game.
  13. hands down...Bill Stevenson from Descendents
  14. That was horrible...I wish I could get that 4 minutes of my life back
  15. I've never met a single person in RL that has played or even knows what RS is.
  16. Japanese: Hi-Standard Nicotine Minmi German: Wizo
  17. I saw Little Miss Sunshine last night and thought it was hilarious! If you like off-beat comedies like I Heart Huckbees, Royal Tenenbaums, or Napolean Dynamite, I think you'll like Little Miss Sunshine. The characters are great and become funnier as the movie goes on and you get to know them better. By the climax near the end of the movie, I was laughing so hard I was crying.
  18. Several ppl in this thread stated that ALL items decrease in price, except rares...not true. Items that are resource items (those that can be used to make other things) continue to increase in price. For example, coal sold for under 100ea when I first started in RSC. Now I think you'd be lucky to buy any significant amounts for less than 160ea. However, items such as whip do continue to decrease in price, but usually eventually level off to a fair price (I think whips will around 2M).

  20. here's lyrics from Slick Shoes song, Fall: "Lord I'm distracted by so many things of the world. My eyes always stray from you, but you are always watching over me. I don't know how you could stand having me as your son. I'm always so selfish and you are always so kind. Lord, you're always there for me. Without you I don't know what I would do. You're always there for me, without you I don't know what I would do. When everything is going well I rarely stop and thank you. But, when nothing is going tight I stop and complain to you. Don't let me fall." Seems pretty christian to me...lol
  21. Dogwood - christian hardcore MxPX? Slick Shoes?

Define "old" vs. "new". As to me 1,039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours and Kerplunk (the ones I listened to in High school when they came out) are "old"...all the rest are "new"
  23. Snarf, Snarf!
  24. IMO, 90's music sucked for the most part. Many of the bands you all have listed wrote most of their best stuff in the 80's. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beastie Boys, The Melvins, REM, Janes Addiction to name a few. Oh, and Mars Volta didn't form until '01 (but I will give you ATDI...probably one of the few good from 90's)
