  1. lol thats actually a good use of picture there though Das rather than just spam. As for Netdragon as far as I'm aware (i could be wrong) they have the licence to make a game in China, not globally.
  2. I think that's enough of the pointless image spamming.
  3. A "kids" TV show that's original fanbase are now in the prime 25-35 age band that spend the most money. Its an optimal group to market for. I think this game will be more than meets the eye and am looking forward to hearing more about it.
  4. So this is the IP they managed to secure get that I heard about a little while ago. Well done Jagex :)
  5. Interestingly i've spent the last 2 weeks as a female character and noone has mentioned anything to me...
  6. Given that proxy owners can log traffic via their networks I would stay well away. Get yourself a 3g broadband dongle and use that instead of the uni network.
  7. The problem I seem to have is that the worlds which have the lowest ping for me are either theme worlds like castle wars or unofficial such as the living rock caverns on 84. That means that I often can't get on a low ping world because its full already of people who probably aren't British or European and I have to go to a world further away. Then because noone is actually playing on an optimal world everyone just ends up complaining of lag :(
  8. Perhaps when they go on Jmod accounts.... but on their personal accounts they cannot change their stats and have to play by the same rules as the rest of us.
  9. They are purposely keeping the actual content secret. This years is the year of the clan, dont go expecting any new skills this year. I think Jagex are going to be releasing a lot of clan related content and quite rightly they dont want to give it all away in one blog. New trees ftw
  10. I entered the logo competition and didn't win, which is fine, and the winning logos looks great...except for one. One of the entries is a skull and crossed swords. Now there was already a skull logo and a crossed swords logo in the examples made by Jagex. It's a bit naff to pick a winner which is basically just a combination of two premade ones.
  11. This. Keris, Balmung etc should always be faster than the best melee weapon for the assigned task.
  12. DeviousMUD* RuneScape was never called DeviousMUD, it was an entirely different game.
  13. Does anyone have pics of the underground farm though?
  14. Not the original one I presume. AFAIK the name Merciful (one L) got freed up by Jagex a few months back. I didn't change my name to it because my username (two Ls) is an intentional mispelling of the word and not a typo.
  15. 1: Tree checking run (About 300k farming exp) 2: About 10,000 potions (Hoping for about 2m herblore exp, depending on how fast I am) 3: Circus 4: Mix of agility, crafting, thieving and slayer. Basicly what I do normally.
  16. You can play poker on Facebook. Facebook has about 600 million users. I havent heard yet of people getting addicted to poker purely because of Facebook.
  17. Here here :P We know you have plenty enough lol. Loving the old names coming out the woodwork. Have we all just been here silent all along thinking we were along without realising everyone else was here silent too?
  18. My simple vision of runescape cards (which could be used for a multitude of games) Escrow is basicly how staking works now. You both put up your bids and one of you will get the winnings. It's not possible to scam someone out of their reward if they win.
  19. You could gamble in Pokemon. A revamp of the Burthorpe games rooms is needed. If all stuff goes through escrow in there then there is no excuse if you get scammed by betting outside.
  20. At the risk of going a bit off topic here.... http://[Censored - Don't use a URL shortner]/hhodSI followed by http://[Censored - Don't use a URL shortner]/etc1bm
  21. Of course they are gonna log with those odds, it was clearly a scam! Say you get a 1 in 7 chance of guessing the colour (this seems to the the figure most people are quoting it works out to for the main flower colours) and you are a planter. In order to afford to give out a whip every 7 bids (1in7) then you need to make the minimum bid 270k in order to break even (on average). Offering 50k bids for a possible whip the planter would need 38 losing bids for each prize payout, at 1 in 7 odds of the bidder getting it right this makes no financial sense. Anyone offering more than 9x the bid is either a scammer or a fool. A 50k bid shouldn't give a prize of more than 450k.
  22. The internet would break if you do that. Same reason you cant type Google into Google.
  23. Anyone offering potential winnings of more than 9 times the bid (because even if each flower had an equal chance of growing there are only 9 types) then it's more than likely to be a scam. This is because over a lengthy period the planter will give out more money than they get back. I think there might even be a bot script available now to scam people out of money. Yesterday there was a person at the grand exchange walking back and forth doing the usual spamming "green:wave:Flowergame 10x 1m gp min bid" over and over auto typing but he wouldnt answer any questions actually directed at him and when I traded with him he accepted the trade windo almost instantly and clicked accept as soon as I put 1m in the window. I cancelled and reported because I thought this was a clear attempt to scam and/or using macros too.
