*salutes Bubsa* I think the main issue Jagex had was it was worries about copyright for the songs he parodied rather than their own intellectual property and didn't want any backlash from it. While the courts tend to favour the parody maker rather than the original person it's understandable why Jagex might want to avoid any potential suit, especially as some of the songs parodies were American artists and we all know what yankies are like with suing people. :P

The only thing that disappoints me is that being such a noob and low level dungoneeer, I wont get to see the amazing look of the Warped floors for a very very long time :(

As we don't have any evidence, I can safely assume "no". How are you going to remove something that has been sold through the GE? But if the account is banned then the proceeds of that sale will be removed at least.

When jagex sent the Runefest itinerary there was a screenshot of an updated draynor in it. I'll try to find it, I'm sure I posted about it here .

I'm finding this amusing but also worrying. Was this bot able to change exp for skills and went wrong or was this an automatic defence mechanism by the game engine?

The jmods were in the zombie video posted a few days ago, so I don't think they are gone completely, but going by what Thierry wrote on Twitter I think we might be seeing a few other npcs coming to life.

the video was advertising the halloween event in runescape, and that update's almost due to be removed right? :P Mmmm I guess but then it's Halloween this weekend. I doubt it'll be removed as early as next week. They filmed it last week on the 22nd and according to the actor that plays PP he's writing and casting for ep2 now :D

Summoning HAS to be a combat skill because of the combat familiars.

But you'd have to go to some obelisk somewhere to change which set of familiars you could summon. You can't teleport to lumbridge on lunar for example so you could summon a Pak Yak and then an Undead Hoard (for example) without swapping summoning books first. Or maybe the same pouch (ingredients etc) just summoned a slightly different creature with different abilities depending on your "book". But anyway... this is off topic.

While unlikely the Gnomic rather than druidic summoning is quite an interesting idea. There are other npcs who are able to summon things, more recently the whole void pests thing. Then there is lucien summoning undead stuff. I wonder is jagex would ever consider new summoning familiars like the alternate spellbooks or curses. Perhaps this is another topic for discussion.

You can open the world map for a massive 'you are here' marker. It doesn't matter if the volcano or clan wars got removed or landmarks taken away or the size of it doubled... you'd still never be lost.
