My character was made before tutorial island so a visit there would not be nostalgic for me. I prefer fooks idea.

the update is the pirate quest. Jagex actually released the update teaser for that last week but apparently didn't come through with the update :P so i guess they didn't feel like releasing new update teasers for the same thing. Last weeks teaser was for the sea shanty dude which WAS added to the game.

While the recovery system Jagex provides isn't perfect by a long shot its pretty good. I had my account stolen from me while I was inactive a few years ago and my bank was cleaned out. The issue is not with the recovery system, its an issue with the questions that people choose. In the Facebook, twitter, myspace era its very easy to find out information about players, especially the more "famous" ones who like to show off. This is why I now choose much more secure recovery questions. Gone are the "mothers maiden name" and "first school", instead questions such as "VIN number of my car" and "where did the painting in the living room come from". This is information that noone could ever find out on the internet.

My account was also hijacked via account recovery and while I had only a fraction of the wealth of this player I was never entitled to any of it back. It would be unfair to have one rule for one and one rule for someone else.

At the end of the day the character and all items belong to Jagex, not the player. This is how it has always been.

In other news there are some new tshirts in the store with the clan logos. I managed to extract this image which shows all the logos that we will be able to pick from :D

What a ridiculous conspiracy theory, more holes than a slice of leerdammer. There isn't any point in going to the effort to write a long counter argument to such a fascicle idea.

Oooh exciting :D I shall have access to the 5 year cape as well as the 10 year cape as soon as it arrives. I started around easter 2011 so when the cape is released next year I will have access to it :) The idea of a classic cape is interesting but anyone can play Classic (6 monthly registration) so it's not really a sign of your characters age like the Veteran capes are. The cape of 10s is interesting but thanks to my noob dungeonerring level i'll only be able to wear 60+ for a while hehe. The max skillcape is a possibility for me someday. I have twelve 99s now and i'm getting close to max skills in herblore and crafting so it's a genuine possibility for me in the next couple of years. Uber cape... unlikely but I look forward to seeing people wear it, they deserve it :) Lets hope these can all be stored in my PoH. The cape rack could do with a bit of an overhaul really as it's getting quite crouded now.

Something maybe to consider... what is the point of hours and hours botting when you can get the resources faster by killing? Maybe its Jagex's way of trying to stop cheating?

Lol I thought it was just me that had the ridiculously small "note", I spent a good 10mins searching the area for that bloody note before eventually seeing it in my inventory

While the noted herb drops might reduce the number of herb farmers the increase in drop rate of tree seeds could increase tree farming. Swings and roundabouts.

Is there much point in fero rings now other than teleporting to kuradal now the row actually gives good stuff? Perhaps they should make fero ring act as a row instead of a rol.
