  1. What, that game is finally out? I remember reading a Penny Arcade comic about that years ago (literally), but other than that nothing.
  2. We had some basic CAD lessons back in high school... nothing like that though.
  3. So where do the major candidates stand on the new standards of Knifey-spooney?
  4. I'm afraid I only know the Braille version of that :-w
  5. Anything to whip the kids into shape for the system...
  6. ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâý for Spanish and Italian, 1 for Greek, Latin and French, 1̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâý for Dutch, English and German... 7̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâý in all.
  7. So you actually found someone shorter than you? Judging from that pic there's no way she'd get past my hips :P Or How2pk or Hannibal for that matter :-w
  8. These are 'quick' questions...? Seriously, you could go on for hours about this kind of stuff, it's not something that I could answer in one or two lines.
  9. ForsakenMage is actually studying in Riverside...

I know about Synchronize. In fact, I have Jolly, Adamant, Modest, Bold and Timid Ralts stored in a separate box on Diamond.
  11. Both Metroid games, Timesplitters 3, Viewtiful Joe, Soul Calibur II, Tales of Symphonia.

I'm getting really lucky with natures on Fire Red; my team is a jolly Charizard (not the best nature here, but it'll be the parent of a great bellyzard in Diamond), a bold Arbok, a timid Jolteon, a timid Mr. Mime and an adamant Primeape. All without soft resetting, except for the Charmander for the right gender. I wonder if I'll get a timid Lapras without trying too :P
  13. So now my decency as a human being is shot to hell simply because I occasionally do drugs? That last line really sums up the problems I have with the anti-drug propaganda spewers.
  14. Weed is harmful when used irresponsibly. So are sugars, caffeine, saturated fats and pretty much everything out there. Over here weed is freely available eight hours a day, six days a week, yet for some reason the streets aren't littered with stoners. Maybe there's a chance that people are actually smart enough to use them responsibly. Oddly enough the whole reason they're working on banning magic mushrooms is because of foreigners coming over to buy them here and use them in an irresponsible way.

http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/file/925601/48628 The Super Contest section of this FAQ has a great table where you can see what items score well for what category. Your only hope of winning the fashion contest is quickly ctrl+f-ing to the right category and loading on the items. That's how I won my fashion rounds. Just remember that the ranking for items is Unique items (masks, flag, tree) -> Contest rewards -> Massage items -> Amity Square items. You will ALWAYS need 20 items. Dancing is just down to practice, and as for the moveset... http://serebii.net/attackdex-dp/ Click the button for the contest type you want. Look for a Pokemon that can learn the following moveset: - Attack first next turn - +2 if attacking first - +2 if attacking last - Prevent the voltage from rising/lowering the voltage Starting out first in the appeals, you should start out with the +2 if first move. If you're last the next turn, use the +2 if last, then the attack first, then the +2 if attacking first, followed by the +2 if attacking last. When starting last, start with the +2 if attacking last, then the attacking first, then the +2 if attacking first, then the +2 if attacking last, then anything really. When starting second or third, use the attack first, then the +2 if attacking first, then the +2 if attacking last, then the attack first, then the +2 if attacking first to finish off. The voltage blocking move should be used whenever you feel necessary. If you're going first and multiple judges are sitting at 3 stars, take no risk and jam them up. Otherwise it's entirely up to instinct. However, the visual round is by far the most important. That's usually where the CPU gains the lead on you, so use the FAQ I linked you to to gain the edge there. The reward for the contests is Beret, Balloon, Hat, Stage. All items are coloured or themed for their particular type. For example, the Ultra Level Cool Contest gets you a top hat while the Ultra Level Smart Contest gets you a professor hat. Also, I just had one of the most annoying gym battles ever. It was against Lt. Surge and his lvl 24 Raichu. My last Pokemon was Charmeleon, also lvl 24. Charmeleon was paralyzed and I was out of Paralyze Heals. He had SIX Double Teams up, so he was pretty much impossible to hit. Basically it was Shockwave, attempt at Ember, Shockwave, Superpotion, and repeat again. The thing that saved me that I had brought enough Superpotions to wear down his Shockwave PPs, and his Quick Attacks weren't doing nearly as much damage. Still made me wish I'd've taken the trouble to visit the Diglett Cave.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071102/ap_ ... kmK7JxFb8C I found it pretty interesting how the Democrats charge $2.500, yet the Republicans charge 14 times as much. Really shows where their loyalties lie.
  17. Really? "a hero" is a spelling error?Link edited out, not appropriate thanks. ~assassin Please don't turn TIF into yet another chan
  18. There's only a handful of people I'd actually want to meet here... Hannibal was in my class for a few years in high school, How2pk I met when Matt was staying at his house (Apparently, Matt is part leprechaun). Mad and a friend are staying in my room in two weeks.

Yeah, I'll need a moment to write this all out coherently but I can tell you right now that Kricketune sucks as both a battler and a contest Pokemon. Here's a few things that you can do to 'prepare' while I write... - Run Amity Square. Each Pokemon can find different items, but your contest success will generally come down to how many items you have. Also, get daily massages, and plant berries to buy items from the flower store. - An added bonus of Amity Square is that you'll find the berries that are best suited for making poffins. You only need one, as a well-tended plant of those berries will give you fifteen new ones. Just make sure you get the sprayduck from the Floarama flower store to water them regularly. - The poffin cooking... It really pays to practice. In general, moving the stylus along the edge of the pan will mean that your arm won't grow tired nearly as fast as it would if you just went nuts in the center. You'll also have a lot more control. - Each pokemon can only take 12 poffins, and with a beneficial nature (Check the chart at the bottom of my post) 12 lvl 23+ poffins will be enough to max a stat. Just save before you start feeding. Once you have the stat maxed, go to the most northwest house in Solaceaon with the contest Pokemon in the lead. You can get it checked out, and if a contest stat is maxed you can give it a scarf that will improve that stat for contest purposes when held.
  20. Due to the difficulties of mail, why not just make an image of a 'gift' and spread those over PM? No privacy issues, no unreliable mail... A lot safer all around.
  21. Self-censored, but...
  22. I really like Oomph!: http://youtube.com/watch?v=L1fwCI19My0
  23. "Oh god..." "He wants to talk to you too, right after Captain Crunch."
  24. Am I the only one who liked Praise The Lord And Pass The Ammunition?
  25. Hardly. These boards are visited by minors, and some people think that that kind of language shouldn't be used in front of children. Because of that forum rules say I can't say 'the F-word', and I'll follow those rules. My post was talking about adults talking to adults.
