...Unreal Tournament is old now? I guess the oldest game that I can consider 'pretty' is the original Prince of Persia. It really set the mood even though the graphics were pretty simple, and the primitive motion capture they used for the animation really set the game apart from other DOS games of the late 80s/early 90s. Another game that had great graphics for its time was the original Ducktales game, where you had to collect as much treasure in 30 days through cave and jungle exploring, mountaineering and photography. It really captured the spirit of the cartoon well.

Well, when I work at a dig site (I'm a second year archeology student) I just wear it in a ponytail to keep it out of my face, since I spend a lot of time bent over. When I'm working in direct sunlight, I wear a keffiyeh around my head. They're pretty cheap, and they're the perfect solution for spending time in the sun. They're very light, and unlike most hats and baseball cap they still allow air to circulate. If you pour water on it before putting it on, your head will be cool for hours. I use a smaller one. I fold it into a triangle, place the long end against my forehead, then tie the two corners together at my neck, letting my hair fall through the hole above it. In some areas the keffiyeh also has a political message though, so some people might overreact to it. Just remember that it was designed and perfected by people who spent their entire life under the desert sun, so it should be good enough to keep you cool while working.

No need to get snippy, this topic leaves plenty of room for discussion beyond the news story itself, which is why this topic would be better than a discussion about a dog winning the lottery or something like that.

Nothing screams manliness like publicly humiliating a 16 year old girl, then beating her up when she tries to walk away... What's most messed up about the whole story is the way the school tried to suppress the whole incident, and the way they bullied the pupils involved. Apparently covering up for a security guard is more important than the wellbeing of their students.

There was some sort of game in Off Topic where you had to connect three houses to three resources, and the winner would get GP... this was back in Scapeboard.

Move wise too. What the franchise really needs is a proper console game covering all four continents. With the new online capabilities of the Wii, now is as good a time as any. The new Stadium game is a joke.

I don't know what I'd do, I've never been in a situation like this with more than 10 euros at stake...

Mine is down to my shoulderblades right now... Bad camera, but the general idea is there... As for grooming, I generally use this: I know it seems silly, but it's really good. Besides washing with that, the only real grooming I do is brushing it regularly, and occasionally trimming the wild hairs at the back of my neck.

I might be getting it, but a common theme in the reviews seems to be that for a Zelda game, the player is taken by the hand way more than usual, making it too easy for the more experienced gamer.

For each test I study for, I listen to a different album on loop, not too loud. Then on the evening and morning before the test, I listen to that album again. It may just be superstition, but I guess it could be a limited form of Pavlovian conditioning...

Met all of Epica during an acoustic concert they did to promote their We Will Take You With Us DVD. Other than that, not much really. I met one of the hosts of NOVA (a Dutch TV show) when my mother appeared on it.
