  1. Well even if I lose a battle if I ever get into a war, it'll be with my Away fleet, which isn't that big compared to my home fleet, so I'll have time to improve my home fleet before fighting again. Anyways, production of a superstructure has begun, will be known as Gustaviara Station.
  2. But a railgun would go right through that. But there are gel layers to insulate explosions, keep the internal temperatures steady and help deal with layers, as with most of my ship's armors, but the majority of the exterior is metal. And grim, parts of it would be conductive, but it would probably disperse once it hit the gel layers.
  3. Fully tungsten would be to heavy and affect the artificial gravity. But it's an alloy with tungsten in it, only less brittle than tungsten so it won't simply snap in half if hit with something hard, and dent instead. The station resembles an enormous tube, and the city is on the interior walls. When under attack the ends of the tube will close, and weapons will deploy from the armor.
  4. Construction of my capital is complete. It now houses close to 100 million civilians, soldiers, and government officials. It is also the equivalent of a kent battle-station in combat, only with better armor probably. It's exact location is unknown, but it is within the local area. Also, it puts out 5,000 PP a year, and all of that is going to Heavy battleships for now. The way it works is similar to the citadel from Mass Effect, if under attack a protective shell will cover the entire city, only that shell will be bristling with weapons. The shell is essentially impenetrable by most weapons, due to its extremely high melting point and thickness. Once project Revent is done the armor will be improved.
  5. Well if Ross wins on ground, I win in space. I don't think anyone has a fleet near as big as mine.
  6. Projects Gypsy, Intern, and Revent have begun. My away fleet is going into warp.
  7. Probably fairly negligible compared to you all. I haven't calculated any population change on earth in like 100 years.
  8. I'm gonna make an executive decision here and say production and research continued through the break, for ease, since I know most people have dates their research will be finished on, and taking breaks in the game disrupts that and makes it harder to keep track of. So yeah.

Sere, you wouldn't have Canada, I got it long before WW5. My main technology would be cold fusion, and hypersonic planes. I would also have a huge navy (1,200 ship or so at the peak during WW5) Also, I don't know how you would work my habitats into the game, but I don't know what the game is capable of.
  10. Battleship: 10 Heavy: 100 Super: 1000 Ultra: 2000 Railship: 5000 Dreadnought: 10000 Old Sa Matra: 20000 New: 100000
  11. Ok, here're my stats as best I can manage. For: Railships, Ultra, and Super battleships the standard armor is 3m of tungsten alloy. Shielding is the most powerful possible, given the longest research times on it (ongoing, and I started it first) and the best generators in the game. For: Dreadnoughts it's 6m thick. For: Old Sa Matra, it's 10m For the new one it's 10m as well, but it uses specially designed armor that helps spread the impact over a larger area, reducing the damage. For Heavy Battleships it's 2m thick, battleships 1m, and fighters and escorts are irrelevant. Weaponwise: The "super" laser on the new Sa Matra is I'll say 100x stronger than an ARC cannon. Remember, it takes 500kg of Duna just to fire once, so it's not like this will be really abusable. I'll say standard lasers are about 1/2 of an Arc Cannon. Missiles are fusion bombs for my bigger ships, with some standard explosive missiles too. Smaller ships (Below super heavy) use standard missiles only, but they're still powerful. Dreadnoughts and above use Fusion, and Antimatter based missiles (which can basically ignore armor, but I only have a limited number). Railguns for smaller ships are smaller, and for ultras, supers, and dreadnoughts they are above average. I don't really know what average is, but I'm sure archi can figure it out. My railship fires a 100ton tungsten shell with a nuclear, biologic, or antimatter charge at massive speeds. The new sa matra has four frontward facing guns that do the same. The old Sa Matra has one as well.
  12. Well, it's not a parasite, it's a virus, following the max brooks thing. And for headcrabs, grab a crowbar?

Just saying, on your timeline im pretty sure I joined on the first day, not the second as I was like the 24th post on the thread or something. Now, remind me which war WWV was?
  14. Yeah, same. Breaks can be a bummer for relationships sometime, atleast for me.
  15. I find things (like you mentioned) such as smells tend to trigger those feelings with me.
  16. My longest life and kill streak is way better with the cnd than the normal watch. Though on some maps I like the normal one better.
  17. Yeah, it is. Most people (guys atleast) have a 6 pack or close under their stomach fat. I imagine if you work out a ton, and eat lots of protein, but then also are eating way to much fatty foods and whatnot, you could gain both fat and muscle, and not burn all your fat when working out.
  18. I'm not sure how it would work, maybe it could be based on density? I know steel can be as low as 7.8g/cc density wise, while tungsten is 19g/cc. Titanium is only 4.5 g/cc also. EDIT: Then again, gold is around 19 too but it wouldn't be as good an armor as tungsten.
  19. Well, when I was calculating how much my larger warships would weigh I gave them 3m thick tungsten armor. I'll work on lasers and weapons.
  20. Well, the armor varies, and I really have no idea on the power of my lasers/weapons. How would I rank a missile to steel destroyed or whatever?
  21. That sucks. Well, if he was a year younger when this happened he coulda joined the club.
  22. I'm guessing it's because you have some feelings for her, and your subconsciously afraid that you're not ready for sex, or you're not sure if you want to yet, or something along those lines.
  23. Posting this now cuz the main thread is still locked. Here's my Government system. Governmental System: [hide=Galactic Council] Council made up of 4 councilmembers, and one overseer (me) who acts as a tie breaking vote. In charge of the entire empire. Issues are brought to the Galactic Council through the following councils: [hide=Sol] Sol council includes 3 members from the Earth Council, and 2 from the Martian council. In charge of maintaining peace in Sol, and relaying the wishes of Mars and Earth to the Galactic Council [hide=Earth] Norwegian Council: The Norwegian controlled countries in our empire are basically self governing, though they still have a say in the issues on earth. Officials are democratically selected. African Council: In charge of the wellbeing of Africa, and its natural resources, as well as its land defenses. Officials are democratically selected. North American Council: In charge of the North American Habitats and cities, and their defense, as well as preservation of the land above. Officials are democratically selected. South American Council: In charge of the South American Habitats and cities, and their defense, as well as preservation of the land above. Officials are democratically selected. Earth Council: Formed by two members from each of the Earth based councils. In charge of the wellbeing of our Earth territory as a whole, as well as space defenses. [/hide] [hide=Mars] Martian Council: In charge of all affairs on Mars, and Ceres. Manages internal affairs, and the Gallery of the Void Research facility. Members are elected. [/hide] [/hide] [hide=Alpha Centauri] Centauri Council: Made up of two elected government officials from each colonized planet. In charge of research based in Alpha Centuari, as well as relaying concerns and wishes to the Galactic Council. [/hide] [hide=Tefarn] Tefarn Council Made up of two elected officials from the earth planet, and then one from each of the other colonies, as well as the official in charge of the shipyards. In charge of keeping the shipyards running, and maintaining the fleet, as well as the normal duties of a system council. [/hide] [/hide]
  24. I don't think that would wreck a planet, but I dunno.
  25. I'd prefer if a PP system wasn't necessary, but it's a standardized system that is pretty simple. Even if people don't follow it, it's a measure of what standard production rates are.
