  1. Terratons of tnt is excessive. Really excessive. Considering the biggest nuke (Fusion) was like 50 megatons, and you're saying you have one 20,000 times stronger instantly.

    Moshpits start at every concert pretty much. Atleast where I live. Uh, saw dropkick murphys a few weeks back, that was pretty good. I normally join the mosh pits but since I weigh like 120 pounds and am a girl, and in the mosh pit there were a bunch of 400 pound guys I chose to stay out of most of them .

  5. Ok, here's what I'm thinking for me: High population (never fought in a major war before the civil war with United States of Britain) Lots of infrastructure. Low air/navy tech. Higher land warfare tech.
  6. I'm not saying that you're wrong, but how would eliminating the aging process cause healing to be slower? Couldn't cell reproduction still occur, just without the wear and tear from aging? Anyway, the "immortality" thing arises from my anti-aging drug that was co-researched with Rpg, which was based off of an already-existing drug that he had. Basically, we just improved the anti-aging drug and found a way to eliminate the side-effects (early death, etc). Because the anti-aging process was eliminated, the problems from the aging process (deterioration of organs) were eliminated. The only things that really cause death now are disease and natural disasters. Also, I didn't care much about the scientific aspect as much since most of the things in the game at the moment are impossible in real life anyway. As long as it seemed plausible and wasn't overpowered, I didn't think it was that big of a deal. The way people age is when cells reproduce, they do so quickly, and occasionally errors are made. Let's say you have a cell that's AAAAA. It duplicates, but messes up, and now there are two AABAA cells. All the cells that come from those cells will all have the same mutation. Eventually, there will be enough mutation that it has bad effects. The older you are, the more likely you are to have the bad effects since there has been more time for error. Anyway, by slowing down the cell duplication process by a largeish amount you can prevent most of the mutations from happening, but that also means that the body heals slower, is more affected by illness, etc. Hmm. My drug does prevent the mutations, yes, but it's also designed to keep cell production going at about the same rate. Are we talking about "bubble-boy" type stuff here? It can't really stop mutations without slowing down the cell production rate. Here's what I'm thinking your drug would look like: Pros: Slows down aging dramatically. People will still age over time, but only if they're unlucky. Cons: Slows down healing More time as a child (They'd probably be the equivalent to 15 years old at anywhere from 30-45 years old) Weaker to disease, as white blood cells take longer to reproduce.

  8. Well, in the past two weeks my boyfriend has: -Taking me sledding -Taken me snowboarding -Two movies, and dinner. I personally like movies, but it's not exactly awkward between me and him anymore. The other two I guess are kind of regional activities, you can't do them anywhere, but they're a lot of fun. Doing stuff like that is great for dates, but movies aren't that bad.
  9. Sere, just saying, the downside of slowing down aging is that people will heal slower. So like, broken bones, cuts, and so on will all taker longer to heal.
  10. Uhh lack of a sticky launcher? I'm pretty sure that's a huge negative. They eyelander starts you at lower health, so unless you can kill a few people you're at a disadvantage. The direct hit takes major range damage decreases. At longer range it barely does damage compared to up close. The pickaxe you're right about.
  11. Update: Brazilian mining colonies have reported that they have now stored a total of 6,000 kg of Duna, the new material. An ongoing research project, Project Merc (I forget what I originally called it, but I mentioned the Duna requirement) requires 10,000kg for completion, so unless I buy some from anyone it'll be another 10 years. Although it's just becoming public now, researchers on Project Wolf reached an important milestone three years ago, though the project is not expected to be completed until some time in the early 2170's. (New Years) On Earth, over 500 million civilians live on the surface once more, as part of Project Andy Relocation. Planet Kentarus in the Centauri system is finally having some of it's ecological laws lifted, as previously all the humans on the planet (~198m) were located in a small area about 5 times the size of Japan, and the rest of the planet was a preserve. The way this is being lifted is with the development of sub-ocean Habitats. Construction on those facilities will continue for as long as it takes.

  16. I don't care about poking fun at countries. It's the fact that no one was being serious, and then hex comes in and ruins a joke, acting like a [bleep]. Then you post sob stories on other threads complaining about being sad because the entire forum hates you. I don't care that you don't like me, I'm just saying that in most of the threads in this forum you've made the threads a lot less fun. Technically that's the Aussies now.
  17. Well for what it's worth, my energy source is 100% ecofriendly, all my factories are underground, and almost the entire surface of the Americas has turned into nature preserves. Europe, Africa, and some of Asia were probably destroyed by the war, given the hundreds of millions of marching soldiers.

  19. The splash damage is reduced, otherwords it would be completely overpowered lol. The whole point of the gun is to be more accurate with the rockets. The damage is increased by 25% but it has a 70% smaller splash. I reread it, it says nothing about the splash damage being reduced, only the splash radius. Either way, just had my best round ever, probably k/dr wise for such a high number of kills, not to mention dominations.

  21. Wow, that's actually nice. Plus it does the extra 25% for splash damage too I think, so even if you shoot the ground right next to them you're set. And the 80% speed increase adds to the easiness of doing that.
