Kinda funny that your anthem is like 150 years old in game-time.

Alright, fleet 4 has arrived in alpha centauri, making the garrison there: Fleet 1: 50 Escorts 3 Ultra Heavy 6 Super Heavy 17 Heavy Battleships 50 Battleships 10000 Fighters Fleet 4: 50 Escorts 3 Ultra Heavy 7 Super Heavy 18 Heavy Battleships 51 Battleships 4720 Fighters

They really don't do that much. They are a useful medical supply though. And chances are a lucky zombie would get through your door-wire thing.

Used a grappling hook to climb up a building. Jesus that was scary. Only like 25 feet, but still.

I'm thinking we have it so armor helps resist lasers, and explosions, whereas shields help resist railguns way more. Armor/shields I guess only matter as a percentage, but weapons is how much damage they do. A ship with 5000X weapons going up against a ship with 90% armor would do 500 damage per shot.

I weigh like 120 pounds, a girl, and I could probably carry my boyfriend. Plus, adrenaline would make you way stronger.

I changed that rule so anything worth 2000 PP or more gets a free note. So that includes any special ships above that, and the sa matra. And rocco, it ends up being that the judge has to make percentages for troops in order to calculate anyway, this way its easier for all involved after the initial process of writing some stuff down.
-
Here's an example for my railship. Notes: +5% Range Total PP: 10,000 Text Values: Weapons: 5000x Range: 4500x (see note) Speed: 200X Armor: 600X Shields: 200X Note: Advanced Railgun: Utilizing possibly the largest railguns in existence, the range of this ship is increased slightly.

You can in the sense that you can tell him strategies like "Send in the battleships first, flank with the ultras" or whatever. And yeah, that's the basic point. I like keeping it in number form, because weapon power happens to also be damage. Percentage works well for armor though... Maybe have it in both forms.
-
Oh, I have another suggestion. Everyone must make a page on the wiki which explains the stats for all their ships. Within the next few days or so.
-
Here are my two special ships: Any ships costing over an ultra get a free note as well, so anything over 2000 PP Railship: Weapons: 5000x Range: 4500x (see note) Speed: 200X Armor: 600X Shields: 200X Note: Advanced Railgun: Utilizing possibly the largest railguns in existence, the range of this ship is increased slightly. Dreadnought: Weapons: 6000x Armor: 3500X Speed: 400X Shields: 1200X (see Note) Note: Advanced Generator, each dreadnought uses a reactor of unprecedented size, increasing shields dramatically. Armor is relative. Since a bigger ship needs more armor, it needs more points put in. 8X armor on a battleship is the same as 800x armor on a super battleship. Oh, and putting more than 90% of points on armor is now impossible.

Well, he told me what his plans were over pm 50 days ago when we started the project. I'm just assuming he hadn't changed that.
-
Maybe all ships start with a certain amount of health, equal to their point value, then armor adds percentage of damage absorbed. So a ultra would have 2,000 health. With 1500 armor it would absorb 75% of damage. So another ship with 2000 damage will only do 25% damage to the other ship's health, 500 damage per shot. Make sense? EDIT: and we assume ships fire at the same time, so that was small ships can do damage to big ships, even if the damage amount is tiny. EDIT: did the math, assuming Norway did space production in an identical way to me, they would give me 22 space production stations, and a nice amount of ships.

Ok I have an idea. This is simpler than modules, but it still adds some strategy. Each country's ships are different. Here's how it works: Each ship has five categories: Weapon Power: Speed: Armor: Shielding: Weapon Range: To add a point to a category it costs 1pp. Of course there can be other modifiers added on later, but for example a basic battleship would have 10 points to spend, so it could be: Weapon Power:XXXXX Speed:X Armor:XXX Weapon Range:X Shielding: Meaning it has highish power, decent armor, and is pretty slow, with low range. An Ultra Battleship would have 2000 points to spend, for example: Weapon Power: 1200X Speed: 200X Armor: 500X Shielding: 80x Weapon Range (Max of 20 except for special ships): 20x

Fighter=1 Escort=5 Battleship=10 Heavy=100 Super=1000 Ultra=2000 Those are the most important ships. I agree that we should only have one type of station, it makes it so much easier.

This is why I like my version. It's pretty simple.

Could you drop them off on Earth for the time being? I may need the transports for the battle (distractions, mass boardings, etc). I'll send whatever is left of them your way to use after all this mess has been sorted out. Alright. They'll be emptied onto Earth, and then back ready for your use in maybe... a year and a half. I think that's about right.

Probably your cheek structure. Ok, now advice: Shave. Try short hair (not buzz cut, but not as long as yours is now). You will look way, way better in my opinion. Oh, and I like your eyes. I have some guy-friends who had long hair for a long time, and they were attached to it and didn't want to cut it. They all eventually did, and really regretted not cutting it sooner, they look so much better with shorter hair. I don't know if you're the same way, but hey, that's just my opinion.

I'm Stingy, help me find some new games to play
Wisp replied to Ouchy's topic in Video Games & Consoles
I would suggest going back through old games that are cheap now, or that you might already have, and downloading mods for them. A good example is Morrowind, with mods you can probably play that game for 10-20x longer than without, and it was already a 100 hour game if you do everything. The only free fps game I can think of is assault cube, but I'm blanking right now. -
 What does that mean  He's calling you a loser. No, really, he's being sarcastic because you're freaking out over something that doesn't really matter that much. It's not like you're going to kiss a girl and become married and then bark an order at her like "Go fix me a sammich, wench!" Don't look too far ahead in your future and place expectations on yourself. Well first of i would never do that to my wife and im not freaking out it just annoyes me... I'm 16 and I've never dated or kissed a boy. And I don't even care. It's not that big of a deal, but I personally enjoy dating a lot. It'll all happen in time, don't worry about it.

Well, I live in a mostly rural area as I said, and the major road that goes through isn't an interstate, and I doubt it would be clogged. It also helps that I live in a state with a tiny population, and that my car is decent at off-roading. The power station is still a viable option, but it would be harder to gain access to, and would be under constant attack since its near a city. The wooden cabin is just a backup place. I suppose if I was already set up in my house, I could run supplies over and fortify it. As for food, I have enough dog food to keep me alive for a while, as disgusting tasting as it may be it won't go bad, and it is a viable food source. Come to think of it, two of my close friends have guns, I wouldn't mind having them with me either. If I could get to them atleast. Kirby, I agree with you. Even with the sentimental value of a friend put aside, in the long run two people will survive way easier than someone alone. Alone you have no one to watch your back.
-
I'll try to think of a system that incorporates your ideas into mine, but is still simple enough that its not a major pain for everyone to do on their own. For now they're gonna just stay in warp till after the battle is over. If I lose Centauri, they'll head to Tefarn. If not, they'll head back to Centauri. Unless you have an immediate need for your transports, in which case I could drop them off on Earth or something.

Meh, not really. Silencers are also good for cutting down recoil, iirc. Plus, on games like snd, or even FFA uav is not that common.

The first thing you did wrong was you tried to figure out women. They don't make sense. You will NEVER figure them out. You just gotta roll with it. Play the cards you were dealt. That sort of thing. If this girl isn't interested in you, she isn't worth your time. Wouldn't it be better to spend your time on a girl that's interested in you? Go, my child. And find this mystery women that will be attracted to you! Actually he tried to figure out one person, not women in general. Figuring out women is just as impossible as figuring out men, cuz everyone is different. My advice: Blind, just ask her directly. I don't know the story, I haven't been keeping up with this thread, but asking directly is often the best solution.

Ok, here's my current plan: First, I live in a semi rural area. There are maybe 100 people within 5 miles of me. And I live on a mountain, with about 20 people living on it, but the closest house is a half mile away. I have a solar powered water pump in my house and a well, so I don't need to worry about water running out. Solar also powers some lights, which is nice. So to secure my house, I do the following: Close my garage. The front door opens in, and there is a wall a few feet inside, so I stack some heavy furniture tight in between the door and the wall, and that place isn't opening. Then, I take a saw of some sort, and destroy the stairs to the back door (which is high off the ground, it's on a deck with no other way up than the stairs. My lawn is fenced off, so that helps too, though it's only a 6 foot high chainlink fence or something. Ok, house is secure. All windows are too high off the ground for a zombie to get to. Soo, I take my car down to the nearest town, and go to the supermarket, unless there were zombies everywhere. The weapons I would have would be a machete, a pocket knife, and a crowbar. I take as much canned food as I can, or non perishables. I take this home, and put it in the second floor. I also move all the nonperishables in the house (incl like 100 pounds of dog food) upstairs. Next, I go to my neighbors house. If they are zombified, I kill them, and take their two guns, and any supplies. Finally, I call my boyfriend, and drive to his house ( 10 miles away, also rural area) and pick him up, along with as many supplies as possible. Over the next few weeks we'll plant food (we have seeds in my house, we plant veggies occasionally), and raid nearby houses for weapons and food. If the house gets over run, we cut through the woods to an abandoned cabin a few miles away on the mountain I live on.
