  1. Does Batman even count as a superhero? He technically has no superpowers. My favorite guy superhero was the guy from the Wonder Twins(I forget his name), I mean how can you top being able to transform into a bucket of water? Seriously my favorite male superhero is Moon Knight. My favorite female superhero is Psylock. I prefer Marvel over DC. And I don't exactly have a favorite superhero movie.
  2. Ok, be aware that I've exaggerated a bit on the details, but this is pretty much how my dream went(I'm feeling too lazy at the moment to retype it from the other thread): It took place in a typical apocalyptic scene, a toppled city, the sky shrowded with gray storm clouds, bodies of people I knew surrounding me wherever I go, ect. I was fleeing some dark entity, trying to protect Sierra(a girl I went to Tae kwon do with a couple years before), running down the blood soaked streets, after what seemed to be maybe an hour of running we seemed to have lost it, thus we took rest against some of the rubble, I heard noises coming from up the street so, trying to act quickly, I pulled her into a nearby building that was still partially intact, we took a look through a crack in a bordered up window and we saw many gruesome creatures snacking on the corpses(They seemed almost like the orcs on LOTR), hearing the sound of rustling behind us I turned around to see one of the creatures, blood dripping from its mouth and claws, about to pounce on Sierra, I quickly pulled my knife from its sheath and sliced its throat open, it clutched at the wound and let a blood curdling shriek out(Suprisingly not alerting others to our presence). After the creatures outside had left, we left the building and took a nearby alley into another street and continued to run until we came across a building that had part of its front wall collapsed, I took Sierra inside and hid her, then came out to look around, and the dark entity we were fleeing from earlier came down from the sky, he was wearing [bleep]ed, black armor, he took his helmet off and he looked exactly like... Me... I froze in complete shock and fear, unable to move as he gripped his halberd and ran it right through me, twisting it, then pulling it out, and as my site of the dark sky was fading, I heard Sierra scream in terror, leaving a feeling of failure and sorrow from not being able to protect her as everything went black.
  3. The ones I remember the most for some reason are a handful I had when I was a kid, all of them had to do with the Muppets killing my mom... I also seem to get dreams where I or someone I care about is dieing but I am unable to work up the energy to move, and when ever I try talking or even yelling not a sound comes from my mouth, the wierd thing is sometimes when I wake up from them I'm still unable to talk or move for several minutes. Most of my more detailed or lengthy dreams I can only remember tiny bits of, but there is one I can remember... It took place in a typical apocalyptic scene, a toppled city, the sky shrowded with gray storm clouds, bodies of people I knew surrounding me wherever I go, ect. I was fleeing some dark entity, trying to protect Sierra(a girl I went to Tae kwon do with), running down the blood soaked streets, after what seemed to be maybe an hour of running we seemed to have lost it, thus we took rest against some of the rubble, I heard noises coming from up the street so, trying to act quickly, I pulled her into a nearby building that was still partially intact, we took a look through a crack in a bordered up window and we saw many gruesome creatures snacking on the corpses(They seemed almost like the orcs on LOTR), hearing the sound of rustling behind us I turned around to see one of the creatures, blood dripping from its mouth and claws, about to pounce on Sierra, I quickly pulled my knife from its sheath and sliced its throat open, it clutched at the wound and let a blood curdling shriek out(Suprisingly not alerting others to our presence). Thats when I woke up, and yes, I did dream that, though I exaggerated some of the imagery so it would be a bit more enjoyable to those reading lol. But yeah, I was a nervous wreck for several days after that, it felt so real that I couldn't get the images out of my head, looking back, I can still remember the blank stares from the mangled corpses of friends and family.
  4. I personally find the story hilarious, she goes out driving while under a restriction from driving because of a DUI, gets caught, throws a fit and fires her manager blaming him for it all, and now shes doing everything she can to try and get out of a measly 45 days in prison. There is nothing I would like to see more than her being dragged into prison, maybe it would get her out of the spotlight long enough for someone with real talent and not just her daddy's money to step in, of course its not too likely, we'll probably have to hear about how horrible Paris Hilton's life is in prison daily even though she'll more than likely be getting the star treatment, either that or as with everything else, daddy's money will make sure everything goes her way.
  5. Well, I've never lost any valuable material possessions, but I lost my childhood at an early age due to a fear of humiliation, I'm thankfully over that fear now, but its effects still linger on. Beat that :P
  6. I've played and beaten them both for the GBA. I heard that there is supposedly an older game in the series for the SNES though...
  7. Lets see, FFVII, Fable, FF Tactics, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Rogue Galaxy, Xenosaga, Balders gate, FF3... I could probably go on forever, but I'll stop here. Its really that good? I've had this game for years and have never once played it... :?
  8. Thanks to my familys obsession with birds, I wake up to them screaming almost on a daily basis. -.-
  9. Wow, I never thought that would leave your mouth, Bubsa... What a twist! Well, this series will always be the best, imo. I will always love it. It has mini storylines, but one solid one running through the games. Which is great. And why is Disney horrid? I am fifteen and I will always love going to the theme parks and love the characters. To me, Disney isn't childish, it's where you are a child. People who think they are way too mature for Disney have to get in touch with their inner child, and be a kid, despite their age. And I like how they made the game not extremely long, if they made it long like FF12, I would flip out. Also have beaten these games in a day in hard, but I enjoyed them. They were both easy, didn't rush to an ending, and over 5 million people love it and enjoy it. For a short ending, you might want to think that any true FF fan wouldn't like the game, but it's vice-versa. Sorry. Disney isn't horrid, I'm 19 and I still like Disney world, I love their animations(Except for sequels for movies that were made during Walt Disney's time, those are just awful) because I hope to become an animator myself one day. I just think the combination of Disney and Final Fantasy should never have happened. If you go back in time and show any true FF fan this game, they would shoot themselves.
  10. stff Oh wow, they have special skills? I didn't know that, I guess they deserve the money a lot more than people who educate our children, keep us alive when we are in critical condition, and spend days under enemy fire, I mean cause that stuff doesn't take skill at all, anyone can do it, whats the point in having to go through several years of college and/or special training for this? Whether or not they DESERVE more money than most other people in this country doesn't even matter. The fact is there are a lot of people who can do those jobs you said, and there are very few who can play pro sports. To play pro sports you pretty much have to be born with amazing talent in that field. Most of the jobs you are talking about almost any somewhat intelligent person can become as long as they try hard. I don't understand why people can't seem to realize this. Ok first of all, you are not born with the strength or skill to go into professional sports, that is something you train for, and unless you have some kind of disability, anyone can do that training, I'm not saying its easy, but everyone has the ability to do it. As for musical ability, almost anyone has the ability to learn an instrument, some have a higher learning ability than others in this area, but anyone can do it, singing ability on the other hand, you are born with, though still takes a bit of training, and with the variety of music now a days there is a music genre for almost every type of voice(*cough*rap*cough), with the proper training of course, and at the very least there is always lipsynching and looking pretty on stage. As for your supply and demand theory, I don't know about anywhere else, but there is a big demand for nurses of all types in my area. And I do not see the need for bands and sporting professionals, because it seems there are many popping up every day, we have as many as we need, there is just always room for more. I do not see how donating to charitys has anything to do with their carreer, if you give their money to any other group of people, wouldn't the same percentage of people from that group donate to charitys as well? It seems you are making an assumption that famous people are nicer than the average person with the way you keep trying to push this as a factor. And as for the "Huge sums of taxes", in America, the rich have less taxes, not saying that this has anything to do with how famous you are, the government just prefers giving tax cuts to the rich(*Cough* Themselves*cough*) rather than the poor. You kind of summed up what the main point of what I've been trying to say throughout this whole thread. Anyone can die for their country, yes, but not everyone has the nerve or ability to go out and successfully fight for their country.
  11. You get the skills in the fields they specialize in, you give the amount of money to charity that they [or at least most of them >_<] do, then come back whining. They have skills above average, so it's not surprising that they make more than the average person. Oh, and make sure not to generalize them as some sub-human beings who only care about themselves. That's the vibe I'm getting from your post, anyways. Everyone adds something. They add entertainment, which, mind you, I consider a necessity in life. Oh wow, they have special skills? I didn't know that, I guess they deserve the money a lot more than people who educate our children, keep us alive when we are in critical condition, and spend days under enemy fire, I mean cause that stuff doesn't take skill at all, anyone can do it, whats the point in having to go through several years of college and/or special training for this? You know what, why go to school at all? Screw college, I'm going to go apply as an LPN(Liscensed Practical Nurse(Highest level of nursing without going into a doctoring profession)) at the the hospital across the street from my local mall, I'm sure to get the job, I mean there are job openings for all levels of nursing everywhere in my area, and since it doesn't take any skill at all I have nothing to worry about. And Btw, read all the way through my post before you state something I've pretty much already said.
  12. My only problem is football players, tv stars, and other famous [puncture]s get payed tons more than people actually doing a service for this country such as teaching, nursing, and physically protecting this country from attack, I know entertainment is a great thing to have to keep people's minds off the bad, but this is just too much.
  13. That was taken right off Liar, Liar... lol Actually I just heard about that one from someone.
  14. One time a guy sued for falling through a skylight and breaking his leg while trying to rob a guys house, but I'm not sure that one was in America.
  15. You know, one thing happened to me a long time ago back when I was just a kid, I was acting like an idiot and my friend tripped me(he had his leg set right below my knee so me whole body went up in the air), then I just sorta stopped in mid air, felt almost like one of those slow motion matrix scenes in a way, then after a minute I fell face first into a bean bag chair, I would have thought it was just my mind playing tricks on me, but my friend claimed he saw it too, and that was before I said anything. It was wierd, but nothing like it has happened again, so I don't really think much of it.
  16. who knows, McDonald's was suided becasue they didn't put a labal saying "Hot Coffee" when the lady ordered "Hot Coffee" Yes, especially when it gave her third degree burns and they served their coffee considerably hotter than other establishments... Coffee=Hot Its common sense no matter where you get it from, its also common sense not to set a hot beverage between your legs WHILE DRIVING. I mean how stupid can you get? Of course that case could never top this one, you know, I think this marks a new low for humanity. I thought people sueing fast food over getting fat from their food was bad, I thought some dude sueing an auto company for misunderstanding the term Cruise control and wrecking was bad, I even thought someone sueing over a baby choking on a kids meal toy that was specifically stated as not for toddlers was bad, but this easily goes over each and every one of them.
  17. Yeah, I don't doubt his intelligence otherwise he wouldn't know enough to take control of these loopholes, but your senario is very unlikely.
  18. what have you been smoking? So you actually think this: and this: Should be put together to make this: ? I think the question that needs to be asked is what have YOU been smoking?
  19. The games are fairly good, but I don't get the overactive fandom, especially with such a combination of characters... Disney and Final Fantasy should never have been put together. :shame:
  20. I'm taller than my entire family, except for a cousin on my fathers side of the family.
  21. God: What were you thinking? :shame:
