Sorry, but this really needs to be said: You need to switch Japan and China as ninjas originate from Japan and the Chinese were more famous for herbal medicine. Though I would have put Japan in fishing because, if I'm not mistaken, Japan has the largest fish market in the world.

I believe any leader who starts a war should take part in it rather than hide in safety, pushing his own people out to die in a war that he himself started. *cough*George Bush*cough* As for Prince Harry, its admirable that hes fighting in the war, though I really don't think its too wise of an idea for him to be out there.

Maplestory, it was fun for a bit, but it got boring pretty fast.

I had a thing for both of them when I was little, but I'm going to have to go with the turtles, Power Rangers shouldn't have had more than 2 seasons, and that was still pushing it.

You know, I had that problem a long time ago, but I ignored it all and it stopped pretty fast. Of course I also elbowed a guy in the face in retaliation for picking on me while standing behind my back, but I really don't recommend that unless things start getting physical.

Ancient Greeks rule. :wink: And Solidus...I beat you to it. :P Macedon was a kingdom in ancient Greece, at least that was what I was taught. And indeed the ancient Greeks were awsome, but the reason I put Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle was because they were by far the most influencial philosophers of all time, they pretty much layed down the foundation for modern day science.

Sounds like fun, though I'm not too experienced with this kind of stuff, I doubt I'd be of much help if any, but I'd love to help out if you actually get this up and running.

I'm not sure who you're talking about, because I rarely see this is in most of the people who've been around here a while. Most of the regular debaters have grown in their knowledge, understanding, and respect of their beliefs and others' beliefs. I know this is true of myself, and I've seen changes and growth in plenty of others as well. We've all become more mature, more aware, more respectful through the time we've spent debating. Really? Guess things have changed, I had grown so sick of things that I've completly ignored the topics for a while.

Emperor Qin Shi Huang- Having unified China, starting the project to build the Great Wall, as well as having the most extravegant tomb imaginable of all time, he definatly deserves a spot. Mahatma Gandhi- One of the greatest leaders of peace, inspiring many in the fight for freedom and peace. Socrates- Perhaps the greatest philosophical influence of all time, inspiring many of the greatest philosophers of all time and even teaching several of them personally, created the Socratic method which later on inspired what we know today as the scientific method. Plato- Yet another great Greek philosopher, Taught by Socrates himself, developed some of the greatest works of philosophy, such as my personal favorite, The Allegory of the Cave, Plato's theory is that reality is unavailable to those who limit themselves to their senses, in other words, he believed there was more to life than what you can see, feel, taste, smell. ect. Aristotle- Student of Plato and teacher of Alexander the Great, though he was taught by Plato, his beliefs were quite the opposite, believing there is no more to life than what you can sense, his research influenced much of modern day science. Alexander the Great-The most successful greek military commander of all time, conquering most of the world known to the ancient Greeks.

I feel that it is definatly not worth the arguements that go on here, cause they never get anywhere, when they are all over no one has a higher understanding of life, just frustration over not being able to convert anyone over to their own beliefs. Really if people weren't so stuck up in thier beliefs and actually opened their minds to other views we may get somewhere in this, we would at least gain a bit of unity and respect for each other, the obessesion isn't in truth itself, but in everyones own versions of the truth, and I personally find this quite unhealthy. I personally have an obsession with truth though, I do not like the thought of living in complete ignorance, and thus I am on an everlasting, and more than likely impossible search for truth.

I confess to hating the fact that my closest friend is moving to Florida in the Summer to be with her boyfriend and wishing she'd stay in Kansas, even though theres nothing here for her.

Just turned 19 on April 14th.

As long as I had my work done the majority of my teachers didn't really care what I did, but I still spent most of my time in the Student Naturalist room taking care of the animal that had complete idiots assigned to them.

All we can really do is get highten security and teach our own children against such things, though it won't stop it completly, it will still make schools safer in the future.

I second that. Soul Caliber2 and Super Mario Sunshine are a pretty good games as well.
