March 26, 200719 yr If I was a betting man, I would wager that: 1. There will be three boats for different levels; 2. The lower-level boat will go to a different island, and be easier to do than current PC; 3. The higher-level boat will be go to yet another island, and be far harder to do than current PC; 4. The mid-level boat will stay exactly the same; and 5. You can only get on the lander that suits your level, otherwise you get less of a reward or something. Well, that's how it SHOULD be anyway. Nice thoughts, maybe the higer level one wil give like 3 points, mid 2 and lower 1? That'd make Pc points a lot easier, thus destoying Rs :ohnoes: I reckon maybe the opposite? I think a nerf on PC is much more likely than a boost. 3 points for low, 2 for mid and 1 for high? then everyone would play on low.. and the update would be pointless.. Americans love to fight. If you don't meet the requirement, then you can't get on. I think they'll make three different categories of points. Easy Points:, Med points:, Strong Points:; they'll all be rewarded with a different algorithm. Easy will probably be levelxlevel/6. Medium, levelxlevel/8. Strong, levelxlevel/10. Or something. >_>; I dunno! March 26, 200719 yr :o Well, people have been complaining about noobs at pc, now jagex are answering. 5 bucks says that in the future, those boats will be for higher levels only. Pc ruined rs though :shame: No it did not. That's an old argument. when a 110 asks me where are king daggs i just started 3 weeks ago. dont tell me pc hasnt destroyed rs My Myspace

Why would they need to level-scale it even more? I'm betting it's just two different difficulty, split by player level.
March 26, 200719 yr when a 110 asks me where are king daggs i just started 3 weeks ago. dont tell me pc hasnt destroyed rs There's no reason to think that said 110 hadn't simply acquired his account illegally from another player. Sadly, that's common enough. That said, I don't see how lots more high levels ruins anything for anybody else. A level 126 jerk and a level 26 jerk can both be put in one's ignore list. I don't see why a person's level increases the unpleasantness of his jerkiness.

March 27, 200719 yr EDIT: If they do have different level worlds, this would put an end to pest control groups :( :?   Well at least it would make it faster. Maybe jagex will cut the exp if they release this? God you don't know how long I've waited for an update like this. That would stink though if they cut it in half  . I was thinking something like 40-60, 60-80, 80-100, and 100+. That would be awesome  By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Sorry, the sig links to nowhere :( .

March 27, 200719 yr I only took the time to read the first page and a half of this thread, so if I missed something forgive me. Perhaps if they divided the points into three types, where points from one boat gave less XP than points from another boat. And then maybe games played from one boat would be easier or harder than games played from another. So basically, if you played out of the most difficult boat, the games would be much harder and therefore would give more XP, but of course they'd have to add a level requirement. Ummm .. Basically what I'm saying is, it'd be great if there were 100+ combat boats, so long as the games played from them were so difficult as to make the success rate of the game about 75% or even 50%. It would level it out as far as XP, but would stop the higher ups from having to deal with annoying newbs and things like that. Or the whole thing could be a mistake maybe. :XD: EDIT: Or maybe! The easiest boat would give three points, or two, but you wouldn't be able to use it once you were above a certain level. That way people would rise very quickly to combat Lv80+, but their training would slow down dramatically after that, and eventually they'd become so disgusted with the whole thing they would quit. And that would solve your community problem right there. My greatest ambition is to kill every member of the human race. However I am a realist and therefore know that I probably wont be able to.
