I use the forums for more than an hour each day. I first look at General, P2P, and Rants and laugh at all the stupid people on the web, then go to Off-Topic and attempt to disprove or prove things. I'm surprised that most people who posted on this thread still play RS.

im starting to go on the forums longer than usual now, but only for about an hour when im playing rs when im doing a task like cooking or fletching.

I can name my bbcodes, but that is pretty much from other phpBB forums aswell. I've been mostly in OT, though, and some people might know/remember/recognize me, but not to often.

Pick a different idol. Or better, 'pave your own path.' I wouldn't try to mimic getting 1k posts in 6 months though. That's just posting overboard and when you get to that state you're just way beyond the realm of moderation. I have 4k posts but that's been over almost 3 years I want to say? If you want to be recognized, all you need to do is just stick around and voice your opinion on different subjects. It's the quality of your posts, not the quantity, that gets you noticed/remembered in a good way.

yes i am and i'm proud. i've been on this forum and i THINK i've been known as THAT GUY that's on the verge of being banned because he's got nothing to do. I don't know tech, at all, i know how to type and use the mouse and that's enough. Yeah i do check the forums more then play RS, non-members need more stuff to do, mining and RCing is boring. oh well, im not paying 5$

Are you sure? I didn't say I do (or don't) play, but I stopped playing a while ago. So if you're assuming that if someone doesn't mention Runescape in their post that they still play, don't.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And yes, Bubsa's right, it is kind of a crappy game :-w . I mean, I used to fall asleep at the Dagganoth Kings, and that Lair is leagues ahead of the rest of the game in gameplay...

Heh, my friend on a different board accumlated 30k posts in a year and a half. The Admin-Overlord of the site has about 12k. >.

Well I read this and another forum daily. Until early last year I used to read places like General and General P2P, but got sick of the re-posts, idiotic posters and the overall boringness of the place. So basically I just read the non related RS stuff such as M&M and OT.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And to do with the BBcodes, I guess I know them. Oh, and i'm more of a lurker and don't use the PM system much.

I'd probably use the message system if i knew anyone... :cry: . I hate the fact also that no one hyt's me anymore on world 99!!!

I am yeah, when I get on the computer I usually read the Achievements first, then General p2p for about 15 minutes, then I log on, play for 5 minutes, get bored, and read the rest of the categories :oops: .

well the only reason I am on them as I have been for last 6 months, is because I am deployed, and can not download the game on government computers. Will return home in under 3 months, so will be on RS again then as life permits. Doubt you will see much of me after that on the forums...which I am sure will get lots of applause hehe.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Only reason I ever used the forums, was a few ingame friends kept asking me to post on the rate this/achievements forum on how I made combat 100 in 3 months, and 123 in 12 months, so I did.
