Tigra00
I'm going to go to the church across the street on Easter and ask every single person who enters the building what the hell a giant rabbit hiding painted eggs has to do with the ressurection of Jesus. Then watch the looks of contemplation. The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past. - Me! Tigra00
Okay, uhhh...A giant bunny hiding colored eggs has NOTHING to do with "new life". Just because eggs are involved doesn't mean it has any "new life" meaning to it. It's just another Pagan holiday that Christian's stole. Like Christmas. Flametrooper
Woah, I didn't know that even the Pagans had rabbits hiding colored eggs as one of their holidays! I need to read up on my pagan lore some more. :P (Actually, it does coincide with an Ancient Celtic holiday, I think - Beltaine, I believe it was, the one in the spring. But they didn't have rabbits in it either, as far as I know.)
