They have one good point. We should not encourage sins. But they are lying when saying God doesn't love sinners. He sent his son, Jesus, who sacrified his life for sinners. How much more can you possibly love them?

No, the bible is man's interpretation of the word of god, at least that's how I see it, to follow it blindly is not the style of most modern Christians - rather to apply the lessons to modern society where we can and dismiss previously acceptable but now jingoistic and unacceptable parts - stoning etc.

With enough psychology someone can stop having a mental disorder, but then scientists have still proven it to be an uncontrollable fact that mental illness is something you have no choice over getting or not.
