yesterday afternoon my friend came to my house and we where just talking(he keeps talking about runescape but i don't really care..)

 

 

 

and i was just bouncing a golf ball, and my friend took it and threw it to the ground and it went into the air, i wondered how far i could get it, so i used all my body( im taller then my dad and hes pretty tall :P) and jumped and it went back and hit a little above my eye lid and instantly started bleeding heaps so i covered my eye and well.. started screaming for a bit lol, and my friend thought it was pretty funny my mum drove me to the hospital and they just checked it and gave me some stitches and a eye patch.

 

 

 

(this was the fastest time being treated at the hospital ever, only like an hour. (if your from nsw you probably know what i mean, heh)

I usually either get hurt badly or not at all. :?

This wasn't lately, it was actually last year sometime. But I was playing hockey at my club and some guy from the other team tries to score my whacking the ball as hard as he possibly can. It goes up in the air with the speed of light, hits me in the jaw, and nearly breaks it. These balls weigh about 500 grams or more. :D

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BTW: Ever since this morning, I've been getting a hell of a lot of pop-ups. Any help? :?

You have nice friends. If my friend was bleeding from his eye I'd be on the phone with the ambulance in seconds, or trying to find someone and offering all the assist I can.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I've never broken anything. The worst I've done is gouge my hand with a corner of glass.

Broke my foot a month ago... Prefer not to say how

when i was little 2 kids threw rocks at me and one of them got me in the eye,

 

 

 

and i got a black eye patch, and when i came home i got a toy :)

 

 

 

the second time was a few years ago when me and my big brother and me where playing dirt clud wars and it got me in the eye and now this :lol:

Ouch that must've hurt! :shock: The worst injury i ever sustained was probably hurting my wrist for a couple days. I got it from soccer. It may not look violent but it can hurt you bad :boohoo: And when I was 2 and a half I fell of a chair and hit my head hard. A few stitches and I have a bald spot there

For me, banged my head on a traffic control box right on the corner edge (it's really sharp) and I had a hell of a lot of blood loss. (and a few stitchs)

Only time I got hurt was work related. 2 ton tractor vs. my wrist, needless to say the tractor won. However I did win 1 week of paid sick leave :P .

when i was about 7, i was sliding on the carpet with my socks. Unfortunatly, i slipped and my knee hit a nail that hadnt been nailed in properly. now i have a perminent scar there :(

Cracked open my head fairly recently, at my forehead. Didn't hurt at all, just like the last two times :-k .

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It's weird: I crack my head open, get up and don't feel pain, put something on it like a paper towel to stop the bleeding, go to the hospital still holding the paper towel up to my head, sit in the waiting room for half an hour still holding the paper towel to stop the bleeding, go in, and get stitches, and leave with my head back in one piece. The routines no different then your average check-up :lol: .

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyways, does anyone know why one doesn't feel pain when they crack their head open at the forehead? I don't get it...

My worst injury was an extremely minor, unofficial concussion. I was staying at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel (In Nashville, best hotel in the USA :P ) and I was jumping from bed to bed. My sister was reading on one of the beds and she elbowed me in the forehead while I was landing. I did some sort of flip and landed on the floor, with a bruise on my head. I...Erm...Disposed of items that entered my body quite often the next few days...

 

 

 

And since RebelAssassin brought up scars...I might as well make a list.

 

 

 

-Knees. huge scars. Same time. Fell off a tricycle. #-o On a hill.

 

 

 

-Base of left thumb. Got hit by a scooter in 4th grade.

 

 

 

-Just above the other left thumb scar. Burn mark. Was working a on a model of a cell when the glue I was gluing on the nucleolus got stuck on me. (Glue gun FTL)

 

 

 

-Left palm. Stabbed myself with scissors when I was 3.

 

 

 

-Back of right hand. Pencil. Stab. Ow.

 

 

 

-Left index finger. My friend cut my finger with scissors while we were helping at a local camp. The rewards I get for helping.

Maybe your body doesn't have nerves that.. Erm, don't take my advice. It's wierd, I was riding my bike once, when I was about six. I flipped over the handlebars, busted my chin. Didn't feel a thing at all.

I've got a 3 or 4 inch scar above my hip from the time I fell out of a tree & caught the bit of the branch still attached to the truck with my stomach.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I've got a scar on the underside of my chin (so you cant see it until I raise my head) that runs the length of my chin from when my face bounced off some stairs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and lastly I have a little scar (about an inch) next to my belly button from when I tripped carrying a pointy broken bit of wood.

Seriously though you need to watch what you're doing, you could have done yourself some damage. If you lost an eye depth perception would have really been a pain.

I had my old skateboard that I added and extra truck too, and replace the wheels with 84mm rollerskate wheels. I tried to ride it down the hill next to my house, needless to say, the middle truck wasn't aligned properly. Three stitches to my chin and a massive abrasion on my leg.

I haven't been injured too bad recently other than a couple of bruises. :P Last time I went to the hospital, there was a guy chillin' in the waiting room with a long piece of metal sticking out of his neck.

If that happened to me, I would've been the one laughing first. I also then would've been asking for them to call an ambulance... while still laughing about it :lol:

I haven't given myself much opportunity for injury lately, but when I was 3 I had a pitbull rip my arm open pretty bad. I still have the scars from it... They grew with me :thumbsup:

 

 

 

Also, when I was 11, I tore a ligament in my right knee... It has yet to heal, even after 7 years... Recently, I couldn't even bend it for 3 days because of that injury... :thumbsup:

My brother shot me in my eye with a BB gun about 4 months ago, It was an 'Accident'

 

50% chance I could have been blinded, I was not a happy bunny.

I sliced a layer of skin off my hand only this morning while putting a heavy box in the boot of my car. My little finger is still bleeding :(

2 or 3 years ago I almost got the eye 'crushed'. My firend likes making veay nice wooden swords, and we were talking, and he was swinging it at some ferns. So he takes a really vicious swing and lets go at the same time I look at the sword. It hit 1/3 of a centimetre below the right orbital hard enough to send me flying (he's strong, just a little higher and my orbital word have been broken). Only 4 stiches, and my eyesight is still perfect in both eyes but...that was close :ohnoes:

 

 

 

I have also been evicted rapidly from a sail boat (when I was 8 or 9 I think), I forgot to duck the boom and it nailed me in the forehead. I flew about 10 feet out of the boat, thean my brother turned around and got me. No concusion lucky me \

 

 

 

I also had a trunk slamed [bleep] on my head, bled alot but I begged the docter and didn't have to get stiches. This happed the same year as the sail boat.

 

 

 

I've never brocken anything though.

lol when i was 4 i broke my arm from jumping off a swing :anxious: :-$

 

 

 

once my mom broke her wrist by jumping off a second story building because there was so much snow that it was just fun and USUALLY you dont hurt yourself. I think this was when she was about 11 or so, in Canada. i was born there but now i live in maryland. CANADA FTW

 

 

 

now my mom has this big bulgy bone coming from her wrist...kind of gross.

I think it's easier to count the times I haven't gotten hurt than the times I have.. Within the last 2 weeks I've:

 

 

 

-Hurt my foot jumping off a balcony thing 15' up onto a wood walkway

 

-Sliced my thumb open on a broken glass bottle

 

-Had my arms cut to hell by thorn bushes

 

-Hurt my back numerous times doing god knows what

 

-Been punched, smacked, slapped, kicked too many times to count

 

-Had a quarter chucked at my head which bled for a while and left a nice gash (and chipped off part of my glasses)

 

-And so much more..

Friends are great, huh? It's always funny when someone gets hurt :P

I would also like to say I have never broken a bone in my body...well I cracked my head open.....dont know if that counts.....acutally come to think of it I probably broke my lil toe without knowing...I hate stubbing toes
