myeroboman Posted April 7, 2007 Share Posted April 7, 2007 I was bored one day, so i decided to make a bit of a fun test for myself, and i'd like to share it with everyone. I had become extremely bored, so i decided to test out my "trading skills". I found 5 adamant arrows in my bank, and started to continuously trade them. First I traded the 5 arrows and got 550 bones. Then I traded the 550 bones for 550minds. By the time i was done trading, I had surprisingly gotten 5 rune meds and about 50lobbies. And to think that I got all that from only 5 adamant arrows.... So, I decided to keep trying it, this time using only 5 mithril arrows. I managed to get about 60k worth of items out of that. I kept going down the list of arrows, steel, iron, even bronze, and always ended up getting 50k worth of items at least. If anyone wants to try this, feel free to, though don't expect to get a ton of cash/items all from a day. When i got to the "steel level" and below, it took me about 2 weeks per type just to get 50k+ worth of items out of it. This test is only for the best, think you can beat the bronze level? my other tip.it thing which i just found out the p/w to is myeman60... If you take it that seriously, you have a problem. there are a lot of ways to make money. And if you ask me, if you can get 50k from 5 addy arrows, then you're ok. Just because you can't get the absolute maximum profit from it and you can't be the most efficient, it doesn't mean there's something wrong. Thats the problem with rs these days. People never take the time to have fun. I spent a lot of cash getting 2 barrows sets (dharok and verac). People say its wasting money. I disagree. Maybe you think sitting by a screen for 3 hours merchanting is fun. I think hitting a 40 on a newby and watching him yell "omg" as he hits the ground is fun for me. [hide=]tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :( :lol:But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. l0rdbarney Posted April 14, 2007 Share Posted April 14, 2007 ya like ppl have said already, this is more commonly done with an egg also, they creat an acc that shows that theyre not a cheap fr00bhead trying to cheat ppl, but trying to get the most out of that egg(ie eggtradexx or sumthing) ya and the egg thing comes from the one red paper clip thing, sum guy got a house from 1 red paper clip in 15 trades, these kinda things dont work very well, u must find very generous ppl cuz obviously u have to trade cheaper things for more expensive things to be gettin anywhere pure:demon_x_king Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
