Actually I only have 12m in cash and items after doing that. I was just really bored one day and decided to do that. I dont really mind the loss, the moneys been rotting in my bank and I hardly play as much anymore. If your combat is around 87 mabey I could duel you sometime?

i still get pms from ppl asking for more stuf. so nowdays i play mostly on friends only. probly the only person that never asked for anything is now a kinda good friend. he was complain about how hard it was to beat d slayer and i asked if he had rune. turns out he had like 20 def. so i tell him that if he gets lev 40 atk and def that id give him full rune and a wep. the next day i gave him a rune scimi or long(cant remember) and the day after that gave him legs helm chain and pl8.

No, it's not fun. Perhaps it was a few years ago, when the average player seemed much more mature. Now when you give a newb full iron, they act like an idiot and want full mith or addy. Just don't bother. It's not worth it anymore.

 

 

 

I even find that whenever I meet another player, they ask me to add them. A few days later, they ask me for free stuff or to borrow something. You can probably figure out which list they make shortly afterwards... . Perhaps this is why I have very few RS friends :-k

But when giving out full zammy to like a lvl 80 I wouldn't expect this to happen, you never know though.

Well once, I needed desperately few fishes. I was in lumbridge and asked for free fishes from lowlevels there. One actually gave me, and it was hard to believe there are some lowlevels who don't think about themselfs only. I was wrong with this.. After I got the fishes I thinked I must thank that n00b for that, so I went to bank, and took 1 pair of rune legs, and gave it to him.

 

Well, first he said like "thanks alot" and etc. I felt good, but after few minutes I got private message from him, asking more free stuff. And that started to happen almost everyday, sometimes many times a day. So finally I ended at ignoring him. That's why I hardly give free items anymore.

I went around giving iron sets, tunas, arrows, runes, and bows. I ended up giving away 200K worth of that stuff (which is hard, considering a set of items is only ~1.5K)

I once scored about 40 strength amulets from one of those weird trades where you are offered a whole bunch of odd items. Since I really had no use for them all, I decided to go to f2p and give them away (it was close to christmas, so I had a reason). Next thing I knew, I had about 50 people trading me at once, and several kept trading me after I gave them one, claiming that they never received one.

 

 

 

Second incident, I randomly decided to clear out all the noob equip stores in all of Runescape, and dump it all over the place in f2p lumby. I had a nice little drop party of about 30 people, and the grand finale drop (a rune full helm) ended up in the hands of a level 90, along with a lot of other drops.

Once I was standing by the Lumbrigde mill with 10 gp that I wanted to give to anybody... in the end I gave up and putted them in the bank.

Im very proud of you i do that alot too, i like people who do that, try giving to the non-members too =)

i was training fm in varrock, when i saw some guy in a mash of bronze and iron fletching. so i said to him, follow me, ill get ya a present. (it was because he was training, not begging :P)

 

 

 

bla bla bla. i stopped my fm training, went to the bank, and took the time to make him full steel (platebody, legs, full helm, kite, scim) and gave him an ammy of power. He didnt even say thanks, he just walked off... :(

It's like giving to people in the poor house... :D

I rarely hand out free stuff, but if I do I generally say that I'm only giving it to ppl lvl 20 or less (or something like that).

 

 

 

Every now and then, though, I find someone who wants something cheap because he/she can't afford the best that they can use and I'll give them something. The last time I did this, I gave a lvl 50 or 60-something a rune scimmy after learning that he couldn't afford it (he was buying a "cheap" weapon), and he was very grateful.
