britrockdude
I know there should probably be a thread somewhere that is about this, but the search is coming up with no results, so. What (in your opinion) is the monster that gives the best drops? Dragons? Daggonoths? Tz Haar? Kalphite? Or something else completely different? Mostly I just wonder what people think about what drops the better stuff more often that isnt a huge pain to kill. Opinions anybody? Achilleus
Well I Havent fought many Monsters But I did fight a few steel drags (about 10) and then got a d skirt I did fight Like 100-200 more and got no d drops but still got some rune drops Id say meleeing them is a waste of money due to prayer.....If your mageing them you have a 1/100 drop of dragon legs So basically there are a pretty gd monster...gd chance of d drop and also they will hit nothing on you Unless you havent potted
snake6man
I havent tried this yet, but im going to kill kalafite gardians. they are a fairly high level, and they have a chance of droping a dragon med and a dragon spear. plus they're in a muticombat area, so you can team them, and theres a safespot. Whats your average lv? viewtopic.php?t=615571&start=0&pos

britrockdude
Is there actually a safe spot? I've tried to fight them and I've had to run round the corner. I may try again now that I have 43 prayer, I have heard they're good for drops. But so far, 2 for Dks, alright then. Anybody else? berbatovsky
for those that aren't uber (me) and cant fight dagganoth kings, then things like fire giants or jellies given the conisstantly good drops(i know to alot of you these drops mean nothing but meh). Iron/steel drags drop Great stuff but unless you get a dragon drop then you are losing money.

wakka102
Consistently, probably the Daggannoth Kings. One totally p0wnage drop, probably the Kalphite Queen. The Best training monster, probably Abyssal Demons.
emrea
i like jellies, easy to kill, drop alot of lvl 3 clues, the odd rune large to alch when ur there
Hevendor_Guy
I think everyone at GoF can agree that it's the Dagonnoth Kings  But if not including high-leveled beasts, probably would have to be Dragons (all dragons have at least some half-decent/decent drops) or Ankous (lots of blood, death, and law runes, pure ess, addy arrows, and weapon poison is ftw) There's cake through here, apparently. Kaiser1993
None of them, Barrow's my best drops. But for monster dagganoth kings.
ugafan_2009
KQ has the best drop, but DK's are the most consistent, a team of 3 or 4 can usually get a few items a trip. Quit RS, combat 104, total 1651

deciever2
I like dag kings for overall money value, KQ for highest price single item, and drags for continuous money even while using food.(only if you're a decent level or using a safespot) Dragon Drops: D spear x 2, D skirt, D half-shield, D axe, D 2hBarrows Rewards: Ahrims hood, Karil's Coif, half key x 6, D med, torags legs, veracs flail
