April 26, 200719 yr Much Like Barrows there was a time when FireCape's first came out there was a rush of people trying to get the Cape. With different styles and methods; Guthan and Hally's - Ancient Magix and Range and tons of others. After a while people started to find special techniques and the Italy rock technique. Soon Muggi came out with his guide and the land was littered with Capes. Then Jage-X made an update to switching Prayer. What happens is when you click the prayer to swap styles the game doesn't kill your attack/combat. It continues your action as it switches prayer style. This is HUGE for the caves! You no longer switch prayer - right click Jad attack - Prayer switch - right click... Soooo to my night of my 6th atempt at the Animated Puke Cape I was on a DK run as a mage and had once again had a dry run ((Well the hybrids got a Seercul but pfft)) After finishing the run with about 600 casts solo I still got notta.... I tele'd and was ready for another trip. I mean come on 3 dry trips in a row is IMPOSSIBLE for me and my luck.. After PM'ing everyone who DK's , no1 was looking to go or was alreayd there.. :( I thought about what some of my goals are and what I could do with th 1 hour I had that night before I went to bed.. Hmmmmm JAD is on my hit list.. Let's go PJ him for a CAPE.... So after a Year of letting JAD hold my cape I went back... So he had got the better of me 5 times previously... Maybe he is 6 times my combat lvl... But I have been training and getting in some good training on some lvl 300 Kings. So IT'S ON BABY.. IT's ON!!! After getting my gear on ((Muggi Style Minus Helm using Robin)) I go into caves and begin my journey... I get up to lvl 59-60 and I am getting very TIRED. So I log... Due to some work stuff I couldn't play the following day so after 24 hours JAD was still waiting.... I log in and Quickly turn on Mage prayer so the little lizard couldn't hit me with that Tail Fire Burst. I proceeed to make my way through the little lizards and his little friends. I get to JAD no problem... I turn on Auto Retaliate and run to the North West corner to get set up... No JAD so I look to the east.. No dot.. I look to the South... OOooo there he is... I click back on Range Prayer and right click the big red blob and begin the ownage. I get to the healers quickly and begin to pick them of 1 by one... I get them all in a line then the most dreadfull thing happens.... LAG... WDF.. NO WAY!!! Not now internet.. not now... All of a sudden I see four 0's then a 76... WHOLY!!! Down to 8 HP! I keep my eye on JAD ... Prayer switch... Sip 2 dose sara.. Watch JAD... 1 SIp sara 1 sip SUper... I follow this till I am full health... I then Super Rest and Range pot... I again start owning... THEN BOOM LAG AGAIN... This time I catch the prayer switch... I am down to my last sip of SARA when I double clicked the Range prayer and get the GHOST prayer switch... BOOM 64.... Down to 18 HP and 1 SIp of SARA!!! Sip Sara... Siper SUper restore... I got JAD red barred... he's got his little midgets hitting me through my Steel Skin and 93 DEF... It was pretty close call at the end BUT the little guys killed me.... NOOOOOOOOOO!! :ohnoes: Damn that was close.... April 26, 200719 yr Grats! Had a friend kill Jad and then die because of healers at same time :? Also on first time I attempted fire cape on vold (got it 2nd try) healers kept respawning, since I didn't want to rush attacking them so I didn't mess up prayers (was nervous #-o ) so they respawned 3 times lmao, until my food wore out and I died cause of them. Firecape!!!))... then Healers hit me and then Kill me ((You got to be kidding ME!!!!))... Then WOOT WOOT Animated PUKE FTW Baby... Inventory: I basically Brought 1 extra Bow 3 Range Pots 6 Saras 6 Super restores rest PPots I used Robin instead of Verac helm or other gear.. Might rethink that.. April 26, 200719 yr Well done Dean. I still didnt get mine after 3 or 4 go's. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

April 27, 200719 yr i had to go get my fire cape back today...and the ghost prayer got me. Went to put on mage pray, didnt work. Then went to go click it again cause he mage attacked again and it went off. Dun know if i double clicked or not but im mad cause he basicly had like 30 hp left in him. Dagannoth Slayer

When you hit log out it will say If you log out now you will lose your prgress or Log out after this wave and your progress will be saved. == So just hit log out on the wave before you want to log out of. Finish it. Log out. Next time you log in You will then start in the middle of the Pits. So be ready to click on what prayer you rneed and quick.
