Being a p-mod, is hard to answer questions and give advice while you are doing training...(unless its wc or fishing), So I put it on friends, or off.

I keep my private on On. Nobody message me so, I don't mind. People are free to add me for a chat :P...

Mines pretty much always on, but I rarely, if ever, get pmed by someone that I don't know. You can add me and talk to me if you want, but I can't guarantee that I'll answer since I'm going for 99 wc and I generally browse the forums (either Tip.it or official, and sometimes both :P ) while I wc, but feel free to add me and see if I answer. :P

Idk...people add me after I show emote and expect me to remember who they are, when we met, and what we talked about...It's annoying but I still leave private chat on because sometimes the people who do that can actually be good friends later.

When I leve my chat on, abyss rcer pkers followe me from world to world, and I get random messages from people I've never met

Mine's always on, unless I've recently been on a free world. You get at least 10 pms if you venture into a free world wearing something worth more than 1M.

It gets annoying with the random pms and then they start yelling and screaming :shock:

 

 

 

If someone wants to add me, they ask or whatever and most likely unless it's plain random or the guy's annoying, I add them. That is unless I don't have any space...have to clean this and my bank :XD:

Mine's always on. It's rare I get a pm from anyone cause the people I have are from along time ago or I talk to them for a week non-stop and forget about em.

I used to always have it on, but lately its been on friends due to me pking with a nh clan 8-)

used to have it on but friends only is much queter but sometimes i turn it on just incase someone wants to pm me they might stay added...

the only reason why i have priv chat on friends, is that i get a semi-heartattack from all noobs PMing me and say "zomgzoh hi omg ur are the I KNOW YOU can y0 bliemve tlking to ure omg?!?" (directly copied from 1 pm, lol)

 

 

 

I think thats one of the main reasons everyone has their chat on friends =/

I started keeping mine off.. mainly because of cw. I play alot of it, and when Im fighting someone, my team rushes in and attacks them and they die.. After the game my PM goes "ur a noob, u cant fite 4 urself n hav 2 get ur team 2 help u ahaha" and then they log off.. (their chat is to friends)

My PM is always off, except when I am trading. And that is rarely. I get spammed and annoyed with the "hey, long time, what's up" conversations with people I added lightyears ago. I usually multitask while playing RS (watching TV, reading a book, surfing the net) - chatting draws too much of my attention to the game.

 

 

 

Public chat is usually on, though. I don't mind people begging or talking nonsense as much in public as in private chat. Somehow, it feels like it's easier to ignore.

I usually leave it on. There's actually good folk between all the random people that message you, and those that don't sound like the people you'd want to hang out with, you can always simply ignore, or if they're really persitant, add to the ignore list (which sadly isn't big enough).

 

 

 

If I really don't feel like being bothered, I'll put it to friends. Only times I've switched it off must've been during PK trips and Fight Caves.

Friends for the same reason as most people, I just get bugged when it's on. My pet hate is the "who are you?" pm... Erm, you just pm'd me, I don't know who you are, which is why you're not on my friends list.

 

 

 

On if: I'm buying/selling on the official forums

 

Off if: I'm feeling anti-social, on the phone, or power-training.

Mines off or on friends only b/c A) I get about 500 pms if it's just turned on ON and B) When im power training I don't want to be bothered.

Though I've been on the verge of quitting for a while so it doesn't matter anymore. Suprisingly I played twice last week for 5 minutes each time, and no times this week.

Chat on, unless I get an annoyer. I don't have high enough stats to get annoyed :P
