One word..............Fury. The Necklace stinks (It's only good for obby maul pures) & the ring is ok if you have the money to waste.

I "invested" in the tokkul for an onyx, bought about 2 weeks ago. Had bracelet made, realised its [cabbage] and have traded for ring of stone 8-)

If i had or get an onyx stone its def goin to be made into a fury..

my brother got on at 6 in the morning and got one made before he looked at forums. someone ripped him like 2m lol. now he wont stop *****in and moanin so i think ill just trade him my stone for the stupid thing to get him to shut up.

I allredy have a fury and i think that both, onyx bracelet and necklace, are pretty useless for a main acount, sure the necklace would be exelent for a obby maul pure but why would i use any obby weapon when i can use whip.

furys definitely better, the stats are non comparable. fury gives much higher overall stats then the necklace, obsidian weapons will benefit from the new necklace though.

The necklace isn't a complete waste....I see no use whatsoever for the bracelet...wasn't Rapid Heal released, oh I don't know, 4 or 5 years ago? And it has the exact same effect? AND only requires a low prayer level instead of 5m?

The Berserker Necklace is good for Obby Maul pures...

Fury, I saved up the spare cash to buy whatever might come out today with the bracelet update, took one look at the update and realized it was junk, so I went ahead and got a fury

A true obby maul pure has about 1-10 attack...

Ya the "berserker necklace" is absolutely terrible im sorry but berserker makes me think of strength but this necklace has a 7+ str bonus which is 3 lower than a strength ammy...so yay for maul pures i guess they are the only ones who would like this at all... Yay 2x heal rates its so good i am so happy they used it on a onyx gem update :roll: . Wow nice slayer jewelry an item that tells you every 10 monsters what number you are on as if we did not have an item called slayer gems that cost 1 gp :shock: . Like many have said i just love it when best part of update is the lowest/cheapest one though the teles are nice i gotta say wet clay>teleports and i am serious i do like the wet clay update :lol: .

I'd expect it to protect over the obby maul...just like a fury protects over almost everything else. Also, an obby mauler, who knows what they're doing hardly ever dies.

and about all the people complaining about the new onyx bracelet i think its really good especialy if you use prayer since it will be X4 fast hp regeneration which can come handy in some situations but i dont think they should have made that with onyx since fury probably worth more

the bracelet can maybe be used in places like the fight caves? in combination with rapidheal (with ancient mace spec) you can maybe get some pretty fast regeneration?
