What's the most you've lost?

Featured Replies

Today at school, I sold my friend my old acoustic guitar for 200$, a good deal both ways. I didn't use it, and he needed a guitar for under 250$. I get the 200$, and I'm scared I might lose it.

I go through the day normally, everything was normal. I then went to my last class, PE (Didn't take it sophmore year, so taking it this year), and the class was great, had some fun playing dodgeball with the substitute. I go back to my locker, check my pants, and my wallet was gone. Strange, cause my iPod was there, my phone, key, and comb (my hair's "emo") are still there (which was everything else).

I didn't want to accuse the guy near me, so I politely asked to check his locker, and it wasn't there.

I stayed at school for an hour afterwards, walking around, going to my 5th period to check if I had dropped it there.

After an hour of getting nowhere, I went home, distressed and confused.

I guess I'm supposed to feel mad, but who should I be mad at? I don't want to do anything rash, like *BANG* or anything, so I'm playing CS to vent my anger, but that doesn't help either.

Just interested in what others have lost, or what they had stolen.

I hope you find the money, I'd talk to your parrents about it.

In elementary school, a very nice Detroit Red Wings coat.

Just recently we had an XM Radio and my dads cell phone stolen out of one of our cars. But the thieves were amateurs. They took only the XM Radio, and none of the jacks, they're going to have fun pawning that. :P

Some idiot girl stole my rubiks cube in 8th grade, but everyone made her give it back because they liked watching me solve it.

In terms of material posessions, the most I've ever lost is a GBA.

I let my friend borrow it, then his friend stole it. I got it back an entire YEAR later after I found it in his garage, with some crappy Star Wars game (Not a Star Wars insult, just an insult to the non-KOTOR Star Wras games  ) in it, with the sound busted. I hated that kid. :x

My gameboy sp from my cousin <.<. I know he stole it to but my mom said that I had no proof and not to start anything.

And my bike from school <.<

Quit RuneScape :)

$1.50 by the stupid vending machine this morning!!! lol. I found a cheaper place to buy a coke and forked out an additional $1.30 so getting a coke cost me $2.80. <.<

A little less than you guys, but it happened this morning so :P .

140 bucks that i was supposed to buy junior prom tickets with last year...pissed me off cause my girl dumped me cause she thought i was cheap. nothing sucks more than loosing money and your girl

Well, I've never lost any valuable material possessions, but I lost my childhood at an early age due to a fear of humiliation, I'm thankfully over that fear now, but its effects still linger on.

Beat that :P

I live in a very rough town. It's small, but very rough. Not as much violence as there are thieves. Since I've lived here all my life, I'm good at keeping people away from my stuff. :x

I called my GF for a few hours, I feel better now. 8-)

(Sadly no contact)

I do have a feeling of calm now, knowing I can't lose the 5 dollars I have left. :P

In total, i have had at least $2,000 of material items lost or stolen.

Well i sold my PS2 hugely underpriced - 50$ lol, perfect condition, NFS Carbon and a few other games were with it ;\, don't regret it though i have my new phone :).

Some people dream of success, while others make it happen.

Most expensive thing that got stolen from me was my ipod - going back about 5 weeks ago at uni.

My fault - I left my bag for 2 seconds to print out thesis came back and it was gone.

Other thing that got stolen at my uni last week was my USB stick, I mean f*ck... seriously. They're only like 20 bucks why is it worth stealing?

I lost all of my essays, reports, assignments and had to submit 2 rush jobs - luckily they still got marked decently.
