May 12, 200719 yr That won't make rune ores/bars/armour rise very much, maybe not at all. Instead onyx would drop. rune ores cant be mined fast eunaugh to influence the price of furys- there are about 6 rune rocks in rs and the spawnrate is 12 minutes- with about 40 servers thats less than 3k rune ores an hour max- not even near eunaugh. Exactly, because there isn't enough Rocks in the game to boost it up enough. May 12, 200719 yr i dunno if its any better than just using chaos. To get the max price for your rune ores you have to hop between worlds for every one you sell, and you'll spend a good 2-3 hours in the shop. with chaos you have enough tokkul for an onyx after a couple minutes. Have you every tryed selling 33,000 ( not sure how many you need with the new gloves) of any item to a shop in 10's. Can you say RSI (Repetitive strain injury)? :uhh: The old way is 6,600 ( (33,000/10) * 2 ) clicks the new way is only 464 clicks and some waiting. You still need 33,334 chaos (well, maybe like 5 less if you start from a "base stock" world, but the "max out" price is still 9 tokkul per) for an onyx. And David, you've obviously never sold that many chaos to the shop. Doing it the fastest way possible (2 mouse buttons off, mousekeys on, chaos on bottom row), it takes me probably at least an hour (I didn't time it...), but no matter what it is, it's way longer than a couple minutes. I think it could be comparable timewise to killing a lvl 2 man that dropped like 300 gp and trying to save up 300k...it still takes a long time. your forgetting the number pad 5...you can sell all the tokkul(or 100k willow long(u)s) in no time at all..just by repeatedly mashing one simple button...but you might want to go buy a cheap keyboard or key pad extention..because after a few times the 5 key might go dead... Can you explain the number pad 5 method? I've heard about it before on the official runescape forums. They were discussing if it was illegal or not, but I didn't keep track of it so I don't know that either...
May 12, 200719 yr from what i hear, rune mining is fairly time consuming. taking like an hour per trip. And furies were always available for free, if you barrowed for a week and kept the chaos, you usually had enough for a fury. Not really, it takes me several weeks to get 30k chaos. Of course, i'm terribly unlucky at barrows. I have all the 99s, and have been playing since 2001. May 12, 200719 yr Just to clear this up: The shop buys your first ore for 1120 tokull Your second sells for 1050 Third: 980 Fourth: 910 Fifth: 840 Sixth: 770 Seventh: 700 Eigth: 630 Ninth: 560 Tenth: 490 Eleventh: 420 Thats as far as I went, because I was loosing too much money. BUT, I then went and server hopped, and sold 7 per server. That meant I was getting an average of 910 tokull per ore. That 3.3 mil (3,289,00gp) per onyx if you buy the rune at 11.5k ea. Brown=Tokull Green=Ores Blue=Time(seconds) Dark blue=Time (minutes) Yellow=Gp (260000/910)*11500=3289000 It takes about 15 seconds to sell the ore, and 30 seconds of waiting between worlds. You would need to hop worlds 41 times, so that would be 30 mins 45 seconds. Brown=Tokull Green=Ores Blue=Time(seconds) Dark blue=Time (minutes) Yellow=Gp (260000/(910*7))*45=1845/60=30.75 Or 30 minutes 45 seconds Thats right!! You can Buy an onyx for just 3289000gp in Just over 30 minutes. And if you feel like being a merchant, you can sell the onyx for 3.9-4mil, rinse and repeat. Thats 600k in half an hour!!!

May 13, 200719 yr Thanks, I just made 1.35mil off this =) BUT rune ore takes forever! It took me 8 hours lol, as you have to wait for the stock to go down to 0 before you can sell 1. ̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¢Ã¢ââ¬Ã

Exactly, because there isn't enough Rocks in the game to boost it up enough. There are 7 rune rocks in the game (2 level 46 Wilderness, 2 Heroes' Guild, Lava Maze, Dark Beasts, and Neitiznot), 63 members worlds (including the German server), and 77 free worlds (with 2 rocks each). That adds up to 595 total ores, and at max respawn rate across all worlds (2000 users, 12 minute respawn), 2975 ores per hour can be mined at the maximum. If Kill_Thomas9's numbers are correct (I'm not doubting you, I just can't test it), that means at the most, there will be 10 more furies coming into the game per hour. I would guess that it's about 1/4 that rate due to the fact that not all worlds have 2000 people on all the time; also, dark beasts and lava maze are usually unmined, and quite a few ores are actually used to be sold and smithed, so I'd guess that at the maximum, there's 1 coming into the economy per hour due to rune ores. One fury per hour can't make a big difference, at least, I can't see how it could. If anyone wants to prove me wrong, feel free to. The rune ore price isn't what is causing the crash, It's all the obby items now sell for more tokkul with the gloves. So fury and onyx prices are crashing because It only cost about 2.5-3 mil using capes or muals to buy an onyx plus 25k for a crafting service. IF you've noticed Mual prices have doubled
May 13, 200719 yr :) I can't wait till summer when furies will be about 3 mil ea  I am Teh_King[My dA][My Last.FM][My Twitter]

IF you've noticed Mual prices have doubled I don't follow the market for obsidian items since I don't buy or sell them, but I was simply proving that selling rune ores for a fury isn't causing the crash in prices. I would debate whether or not obsidian items were causing it (which I'm sure they are) if I knew enough about them and the market for them to have a good debate. Either way, I know that's the reason, I was just trying to show taht rune ores aren't the reason.
