2.55 mil fury then... still cheaper. but more challening to buy the ores, because they are usually sold in 100 sets. you weren't wrong, just wrong wording by the way.

So how do you do this method? Sell a ore then world hop or wait till shop takes it away? Or just sell all 232 runite ores in one world?

Sounds like it'd take about 5 hours to mine the ore, then (I'd get 250 in that time, but you need to account for the fact that the price goes down a bit). That would make the onyx about 2.75 million, which is still a good amount cheaper.

 

 

 

Makes it manageable. At that price, I could afford a fury, though it wouldn't likely be my first purchase with that money.

 

 

 

And if you say it's not worth it; if you can mine rune, it might be a better way to use the ore. Immediate results (selling to a shop) and although I don't know the markets too well, I think it'd be easier to sell a fury than a bunch of rune ore (I can't find a buyer anywhere but on the forums).

Just to point out, the shop pays more for obby mauls now too (17.5k over the previous 7.5k :shock: ). With the discount on the onyx, it now only takes 15 mauls for the onyx, as opposed to the 40 it used to take. (I expect onyx to drop even farther and mauls to go up - I found that out this morning, and mauls were already going 125k ea. Now they're being bought 140k ea)

Now im kicking myself for selling all of thsoe rune ore and mauls i have got over the past few months. I probably would have been able to get one for nothing. Combining mauls and rune ore would work best i believe, if you are world hopping. Sell one of each and switch, or however youa re doing it.

Could the price go below 600ea when it has many in stock?

they do... but only until its "over" stocked... i sold 10 deaths to the rune store for like 60+ ea then checked the price theyd buy for, 18 ea

lvl1-3 do the same benefits. lvl 1 gloves got me 40k tokkul for a obby maul, sword, and knife.

 

 

 

 

 

you can sell to one shop, but prices reduce, hoping worlds 20+ times isnt ALOT but still is a considerable amount.

 

 

 

i believe some1 said 230ish rune ores.

Soon, every world will be full of rune ore, and nobody will buy because you need tokku, so every weekish when the system update occurs, be ready :P

this is really interesting and would save lots of clicks for getting a onyx out of tokuul, i might go for gloves sometime soon and test this out for myself

a while ago i dont rememer why but i used to mine the 4 gold ores directly outside the city and sell the ore to the shop

from what i hear, rune mining is fairly time consuming. taking like an hour per trip.

 

 

 

And furies were always available for free, if you barrowed for a week and kept the chaos, you usually had enough for a fury.

 

 

 

Well, I usually mine about 50 in an hour, so it'd take me about 2 hours to get enough rune ore for a fury.

 

 

 

But now that you mention it, I might just do this so I can afford a fury (so I'll lose even more if I die in Barrows). Then again, I might just get a berserker necklace or ring of stone. Who knows?
