May 9, 200719 yr I was wondering, would it be possible to buy a fury by selling rune ore to the gem/ore store? It sells for about 1.2k tokkul an ore so it is about 230 rune ore with the new gloves. 230 rune ore is 230 x 11000= roughly, 2550000. (2.55mil) if you kept hopping to empty worlds you could find some that would give max price, or you could sell 110+ to a single store. why would people not use this method for buying furies? I was wondering since I had just discovered it by looking in a store. You could get nearly free furies if you had 85+ mining. Discuss and explain to me why this isn't used, please. Edit: The only problem would be the rune ore, would the prices go up on rune ore? I suppose only if more people discovered it. or would the prices go down because of more people mining rune ore? Double Edit: confirmed by evil eye, it would take 232 rune ore to get tokkul for onyx, with gloves. Edit again: with ore and mauls, as suggested by some poster whos name I forgot, selling a maul and ore to each store, with lowest store price for rune ore being 600 tokkul? and lowest maul being 15k tokkul? mauls are 140k ea, that is 12 rune ore, about so mauls and ore would be more efficient. 10 mauls and 100 rune ore should get 260k tokkul, which would be onyx price with gloves Played runescape for about 2 years!I love SSBB!!!

May 9, 200719 yr Hide the post so it doesn't go blazingly overused!! #-o Oreo's probably gonna go nuts when he hears this about his lovers the rune rocks.. :-# There's cake through here, apparently.
May 9, 200719 yr He's presenting a fury thats less than 1/4 the current price though. It seems plausible.
May 9, 200719 yr That sounds interesting. Buying 90 rune ores isn't a big deal anyways and selling them to store is a lot faster than the chaos. I'd rather die for what I believe in than live for anything else.Name Removed by Administrator ~Turtlefemm
May 9, 200719 yr Wow, this means im going to loose around 14m on my current tokkul i got from chaos... what luck....
May 9, 200719 yr I'm wondering if these dont go down to like... 1K an ore ? I'm Finally 99 mage ^^ (and cooking...) :PSilver24-7 -
May 9, 200719 yr I'm pretty sure you did something wrong...lemme check though. :? Edit: Hmm. Weird. This is really gonna change something then...
May 9, 200719 yr If that's true.. nice find :-w Could've been posted in this active thread though, where the same basic idea is told. P2P :: 1836 ST :: 91 MAGE :: 90 RANGE :: 85 PRAY :: 245 QP :: 124 CMB
May 9, 200719 yr I'm wondering if these dont go down to like... 1K an ore ? i doubt that low, but i checked sell back prices of deaths @ the rune store 63 tokkul per rune, went down to 18 instantly after some1 else sold like 50
May 9, 200719 yr So I guess if you were to hop worlds 90 times, it would be worth it. Otherwise the price would go down to like 2k/ore...
May 9, 200719 yr Only 480 each for me? :? NVM got it :P Tbfgraphx14Happy to find I'm not the only one who eats glass.
May 9, 200719 yr Only 480 each for me? :? Either you don't have the gloves or someone just sold a bunch to the store.
May 9, 200719 yr 90 rune ores would be 990k... considering furys worth 4.7m each you'd nearly end up with a 3.8m profit. :shock: just get your hopes that jagex doesn't discover this. :thumbsup:

May 9, 200719 yr Author If that's true.. nice find :-w Could've been posted in this active thread though, where the same basic idea is told. a similar thread, but not on the same topic. what he is saying is that obby weapons for the fury with the new gloves. this is completely useless for me though, at 41 crafting and 44 mage, also having 10k in my bank I can't do it. lol... Played runescape for about 2 years!I love SSBB!!!
May 9, 200719 yr The Rune Ore method doesn't work. The gloves don't make them go up in profit. Unless the person who did it wasn't wearing his gloves when he said it didn't work. May 9, 200719 yr from what i hear, rune mining is fairly time consuming. taking like an hour per trip. And furies were always available for free, if you barrowed for a week and kept the chaos, you usually had enough for a fury. Well, I usually mine about 50 in an hour, so it'd take me about 2 hours to get enough rune ore for a fury. But now that you mention it, I might just do this so I can afford a fury (so I'll lose even more if I die in Barrows). Then again, I might just get a berserker necklace or ring of stone. Who knows? If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.
May 9, 200719 yr i just tried it with gloves, rune ore went for 1120 and there were none in stock. does I need the lvl 3 karajama gloves? I skill. If you skill you should join.
May 9, 200719 yr I confirm it does not work. With gloves on and 0 ore in stock, it sells for only 1120 tokkul.

Best to go with capes or mauls.
