I think crushed gemstones were used in a quest. Maybe I'm thinking of another item though.

Broken plates are useless.

So are cat medals I guess...

The OoC: Order of Cabbage. Guardians of 3,600,000+ Cabbages! That a lotta cabbage!

why cant we say rares are useless? i've been here since rsc and all they've caused is a bigger real-world item trading market, more macroers because of this, and more inflation!

RARES ARE AS USELESS AS CABBAGE! TAKE THAT OOC! BANANAS FTW!

Well you cant wear a cabbage. :P

And a useless item: crystal Trinket. (Nobody goes into the temple of light after they have done the quest)

Rune nails. (nobody with a head on straight would use a rune bar for THAT!)

Ashes can also be used in the Warrior's Guild shot-put thingie, though I am not sure that accomplishes much.

Some clarifications:

Rock: It's used for making floating toadies to catch big jubblies during and after Recipe for Disaster.

Disk of Returning: It used to teleport you out of the black hole a dwarf would send you in for fun.

Tortoise Shells: You can now sell them to an NPC in Dorgesh-Kaan for the high alchemy price.

What to exclude from the useless category:

-All equipment,

-All quest items,

-All edible items,

-All materials in trade skills,

-Miscellaneous items that still have a use.

Hope that helped. :P

"300 programmers make their futile but glorious last stand against 1000000 angry players in The battle of Misthalin. They fight for honor, glory and new content sacrificing themselves so that their game may live on. This is Madness! This Is JAGEEEX!"

the toy boat in gnome village, i remember in rsc when people would sell them for 30k each to other people. Or was that just me? But anyways they are sure pointless.

goblin armour.

it is used for a f2p quest but apart from that..!

shade robes are pretty useless

P2P offers more and better ways of making money than f2p. That's one of the cons you just have to play with if you don't feel like having 1 bigmac meal less per month.
