____
Own a 1991 Holden Commodore Wagon Deluxe. Wouldn't mind a SWB GU Patrol like this girl here... But since none were released in AU - just a bit impossible :(
How2PK
I haven't got a car. Haven't got a driver's licence either. Cars are bad for your surroundings. When I need to go somewhere I just go with my bike or take the train/bus. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore! np_tyler
I drive one of two tan '93 cars that my family owns... As far as what I'd like to drive, this would be pretty cool: The bad thing is that it only gets about 18 mpg maximum. - Np Tyler

The_Dragon_Reborn
Nothing yet as I don't get my liscense till June 6th (coming up unnaturally slow), but I'm pretty sure I will be getting either a '96 Lincoln Mark VIII, or a '03 or '04 piece-of-[cabbage]-Toyato/Honda. What I would like...Idk, something Hella-fast. ~~Let The Dragon ride again, on the winds of time~~I've always felt as if I'm the only person who can understand the concept of sarcasm on the internet. deloriagod
And who complained about manual transmission? I find driving with manual much more fun :P Nobody every taught me to drive a manual so I'd really like to learn. I think it would be fun and then when I save up the cash to buy that old Corvette I want with manual transmission instead of a rebuilt automatic. As far as what I'd like to drive, this would be pretty cool: The bad thing is that it only gets about 18 mpg maximum. Yeah, an engine that size would burn gas like crazy. Militaris
1993 Toyota Hilux Surf. Great reliable car and likes it rough. This is a old photo. Been given new tyres and a couple of dents since then. I really should get a better photo of it.
Led-Zeppelin
I got my new car about six months ago. I was thinking of getting; Nissan Pulsar GTi-R '90 - '94. Nissan Skyline GTS-T, prefer the R32 Nissan Cefiro A31, with a RB25DET Nissan 300zx twin turb of course. '90 Toyota Celica GT4 '90 - '93 Toyota Supra again twin turb. And I was also thinking of getting a Subaru, but they are much too common for my liking. I ended up settling for a much more modest car as the insurance companys here aren't too kind to anyone under 25 in any car much less a high performance one. Some insurance companys wanted to charge me $3,000 a year for this stock standard, 2.0Litre car which I wanted to insure for $4,500! I was also thinking of getting an older car, maybe a Holden Kingswood, or a VL Calais. Got close to buying some old Escorts and Cortinas, but at the end of the day, I need reliability, which sadly, you don't often get with old cars. Enough of my gasbagging, here is the pics of the car that I currently own; 2.0Litre (wish it was the 2.5) V6 manual. Haven't done anything to it yet, it was a really good price, only had 112,000ks on the clock, got it for $4,500 which is alot less then standard one. The last owner had it since it had done 2,000ks so it had been looked after. All I have done is put in two 12" Fusion subs in the back running through a 1400W amp, and put in a new headdeck and side door speakers. And I have debadged it haha. I plan on dropping her a few inches, she currently looks like shes set up for off-roading. And probably get a Y-pipe installed and remove the spoiler, but other then that, won't do much to her. Oh, and here is a pic of my old car; The gearbox eventually burnt out (was an auto) I wonder why.
indy500fan
2006 Chevy Cobalt. Bought a new car so I wouldn't have to worry about repairs for a while. Had to take it in once already, and will have to take again sometime this next week for a recall. Haven't had to pay for either repair, still annoying as hell. Never buying a Chevy again. Yeah I'm with State, they charge me $1,200 a year, with a $1,000 excess! Tower wanted $3,000, and NZI wanted $2,200. All with $1,000 excess, can't really get lower excess then that for anywhere. Hopefully at the end of the year I'll save some money and excess will come down when I turn 21. It's all the stupid kids that usually DON'T have insurance in the first place that bring up the premiums for us 90% of the time sensible drivers, haha. Can't wait until I'm an old codger, and can insure a pocket rocket for about $100 a year.
Agunimon979
THIS IS NOT MY DAD'S CAR, IT JUST LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THIS AND IS PAINTED GOLD My Dad owns a firebird Trans Am painted GOLD AND AND AND it's a T-top, only 250 of those made. History: He bought it all run down and junky, just a body of an old rusty car on a motor, he fixed it up, painted gold, and it looks real nice now. He drives me to school sometimes and it's fun to be the envy of all your friends, the one with the dad who owns the gold firebird. Here, I'll try to find a picture of it later. I pay ~$2800 a year for insurance on my car. I can understand mine being higher but some company (don't remember which) wanted to charge me nearly $5000 a year  I still think $2800 is too high but it's not so bad after hearing $5000 as an estimate.. @Agunimon: That would be a tight car. I wish my Firebird was a Trans Am but my parents don't trust me with anything bigger than I have :( Hell, my dad barely trusts me with what I have. I normally do not stop when I am going through the interesting bits so little chance for photos. My friends might have a few. I got a video of her on the 2nd day I brought it. We were playing around looking for a place to test it out and discovered a local lake was swollen :) So I decided to drive into it. Would of gone deeper but I suspect there was a hidden chain fence just past the table. Plus I did not know how quickly it dropped off or how soft the mud was. There was a few massive logs I charged over. I do not have a rated 'tow' hook on her (must remember to get two) so I rarely play in the mud and have never gotten stuck so no stuck photos. Here is the video (Guess my number plate and win a reward)

Sumpta
In accordance with my plea to change the way we live on the thread "global warming": I don't have a car, don't plan on owning one any time soon either. I go to work by bike. When I have appointments further away, I take public transport or a ride with a colleague.

fat_hobbit22
im not old enough to drive but my dad owns an Audi S4 and my mum owns a for focous lol theres like a $40,000 difference in them :-# meh i love my dads car and the number plate (XPO1), 4.2 v8 goes so fast, got caught speedin a month ago, undercover police car, apparently they were doin 120mph and wernt catchin him up, so they agged him at 120 when he slowed down, still waiting for the court summoning but im guessing its going to be month ban. my dad got the chip updated on it to give it i think an extra 30 bhp more than standard, and he got the ship unlimited, on the rolling road it did 205 mph, but i duno about in real life because of wind resistance and stuff :S pretty good for an avant \
