I looked in this thread, started by ThruItAll about beating Runescape. There are alot of differant views expressed in the thread.

 

 

 

This thread is to discuss, and come with a final conclusion to "Beating Runescape" Those of you that think it can not be beat, ok, thats your view. But I don't want it here, sorry.

 

 

 

Post what you think is required to beat Runescape, with explination so we can discuss what it takes.

 

 

 

For skills, do we need 99, able to make highest thing in that skill, 200m experiance?

 

 

 

Drops, gotten all dragon, barrows? What about drops from clues?

 

 

 

Castlewars, Initiate (killing enough black knights to be able to buy it all), chompy hats.

 

 

 

All songs unlocked, Emotes

 

 

 

Do you need non-tradeable rares (Bunny ears, scythe, yo-yo)

 

 

 

 

To Beat Runescape You Need To:

 

even if you have completed every single stats to 200m, finish every quest, unlock every cranny. there is stil so much to do like pking, making youtube videos, minigame records. just name them! O:)

For skills, just the highest thing to make or 99

 

 

 

200m exp is just for people who want a higher rank on the highscores.

 

 

 

All quests, Ach.Diary, Songs, Emotes, All minigame sets (void, CW, chomp, ghostly, ect), and so on.

to beat every quest is sort of like beating runescape (or the storyline), but getting a skill to a higher level is like an extra

There's always going to be more Castle Wars to play, more Dag Kings to kill, more people to pk, more money to make. I don't think the game ever really ends.

To Beat Runescape You Need To: Quit. That's my honest opinion. If you quit you beat Runescape. Like if you quit smoking you beat smoking.

I say there's no way to beat runescape... There's no bar that says you're 50% done... There would still be more to do after you get 200m xp, 2.1 billion geepee or w/e, every quest done, every achivement... You could still find something to do.. even if it is giving your fourtune away to nubs in lumby. :|

on topic: once youve maxed all skills, done all quests and yaty yaty yata, and have the max amount of money and have done everything posible to do in runescape, then uve beaten it.

1. All skill 200mil exp

 

2. All quests complete

 

3. All music unlocked

 

4. Own all untradable rares

 

5. All emotes unlocked

 

6. Own all tradable rares

 

7. Own max gp cap

 

8. Own all barrows/dragon sets

 

9. Own all minigame armour sets.

 

10. All minigames 100% complete

99 everything, in a normal game, you can alwasy keep playing it, but you can't get any further, just like RS

I feel that completing the game includes level 99 in all skills, every quest completed, all songs, and emotes. I believe thats the true meaning of beating runescape.

the challenges never end, my current goal of all 99's is only the surface :)

Everyone plays RS for a different reason. Therefore, everyone's goals are different and beating the game means something different to each person.

 

 

 

In my opinion, you can't really beat a game like Runescape, even when you've maxed out everything, there's still stuff to do...

All 99 skills, 200M exp in each skill, every holiday drop, and rare. Every good item/hard to get item in your bank, all quests+achievement diary done, all music unlocked, been to all areas (literally), done all minigames, met the top 10 people in rs :P, and friends list full of REAL friends, and same for ignore (not bs), there's more but idk what else..so i have LOTS to go lol... :ohnoes:

how does making youtube videos help you "beat" the game? -.-

time, and lots of it, forget real life in order to beat pixelated RS life. there will be new stuff in the future, so RS to me is unbeatable.

 

 

 

Especially with those darn rare Champion Scrolls. :x #-o

To me it's: 200m (Max) in all skills, all skill capes bought, Full Party Hat set, Full mask Set, having bunny ears and scythe (If you don't then you'll never get it haha!) all the other rares, gotten every barrow item from the barrows chest yourself, gotten full dragon from drops, gotten the full white knight level, all quests done, fully upgraded house (Everything is top notch), that should do it :P oh, and achievement diary done of course :D (Easy-Hard).
