Diesel
I just hope this opens up possibilities for more band-centric games. I want an RHCP game nao. Probably not the best move since John just announced that he's leaving the band. It was rumored that The Who would be the next band to get their own game. I wouldn't mind seeing that. xSxqPowerx
I for one think that band centred games are absolutely awful. Maybe because I hate every band they've done one for so far... but a little bit of variety is nice - not to mention that Greenday and The Beatles are just far too easy. I think Metallica was a fairly good band centred game, a decent amount of other bands there that don't totally suck and I think it was nice that they put on the original version of songs which they have covered. Other than that not really too pleased with the others. Beatles was a very well made game, one of the best I've ever played, however it wasn't that *fun* due to the difficulty of it. champion
I think guitar will be the weakest instrument in the game by a mile. Yeah seriously, all Green Day songs are like an arrangement of 3 power chords and then a 10 second solo.
Zierro
Drumming is really fun, except when the bass pedal comes up. My feet just don't have any rhythm. I just hope this opens up possibilities for more band-centric games. I want an RHCP game nao. Probably not the best move since John just announced that he's leaving the band. Distracted
I got GH5, loving it, but having problems with the guitar (the only instrument I have so far not including an old mic for Singstar on PS2 lol). It only registers when I strum up, rarely when I strum down, weird, since I strummed down a lot before it broke down. Anyway, I'll be getting RB2 either way for the rest of the instruments, I'll be bringing in the guitar then for a replacement. I usually play on Hard, but only since recently so I'm not that great on it. I average about 80-90 percent on most songs, over 90 on the easier songs (like Song 2 and They Say) and lower for the really hard songs (like Scatterbrain and that boring 15-minute song). Diesel
that boring 15-minute song). That boring 15-minute song is one of my favorite songs in the entire game. That aside, I've been working almost exclusively on GH5 drumming. I'm getting pretty good. I can pass just about everything up until the last tier and 5 star the majority of those that I pass. One Big Holiday is my favorite song to drum and I'm getting more and more consistent on the symbol rolls during the solo. If it wasn't for dropped notes or accidental double hits of my bass petal, I'd have more than the 3 FCs that I have. I've got a friend who's really good at drumming irl, and sometimes I just play a bit on his drums. It's fun to do, challenging. Also, I just think that song is boring because of the bits with guitar are so far apart. There's a huge part with just bass and drum where a guitarist just waits and waits for something to happen, they do a short hard bit and then wait some more. Diesel
I want to play this song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0bzY1xnwmo Good lord I've been waiting for a good blues pack for GH. I'll take this as a step in the right direction. Last.Fm My Bloggy Proud to have served on Tip.it Crew
All_Is_Great
I played rock band 2 for the first time last week on my friend's ps3, and got over 90 percent on Chop Suey hard vocals and 87 on Down with the Sickness. Lost my voice though, but it was a blast! Maybe I should get the game for my 360, but how much is the thing? The entire package?
Maze
I honestly stopped playing rhythm games when they started milking them to hell. I mean, seriously, Green Day RB? Van Halen GH?
Donkeykong23
I'd like to see a Megadeth version of Guitar Hero or Rock Band. It would be so challenging, especially if some of their newer stuff was on it. =P~
Wongtong
I played Rock Band for the first time last week and I think I got about 97% on Hysteria with expert vocals. I failed on I'm So Sick though, I fail. At least you don't have to be good at singing to do well in Rock band though. The guitar part on Rock band seems easier than GH, I could easily play Expert on some song (It was probably an easy song though) without having to practise/play it several times, but on GH I would probably just fail. 8,180WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME#1 Wongtong stalker.Im looking for some No Limit soldiers! I got Rock Band three days ago two, and I already got Flawless Fretwork (100% Guitar on Expert) today. :P(it was on Maps though, that might have had something to do with it xD) Master of Attack ~ August 29th, 2010Proud to have served the awesome Tip.It Crew <

Got 90% on scattrerbrain on GH5 the other day aswell which I was pretty proud of...I want to see Guitar hero: RHCP or Guitar hero: Foo fighters. Diesel
I still think Rock Band notes are a pain in the [wagon] to hit sometimes because of the rectangle shape. That and they chart the solos horribly. "How fast can we chart zig-zags?!" I've always liked slider notes on GH. And on GH:FF, I have a feeling that we have a better chance at seeing RB:FF considering that RB already has a fairly large selection of FF songs and 1-2 full albums for DLC. I can imagine the guitar being boring chords, the drums being ridiculous...in a fun way, nothing exciting at all on bass, and the vocals being decent. Juhnie
I still think Rock Band notes are a pain in the [wagon] to hit sometimes because of the rectangle shape.I hate them when I have lots of drum notes rolling at me. <_< So unclear."Oh, look, there's a huge red block of notes rolling my way! I wonder at which rhythm do I- HOLY [bleep]" Tried to get Flawless Singer, but I kept missing the notes just slightly and got Strongs instead of Awesomes. Tried a few times, gave up. Gotta try that later. :P Master of Attack ~ August 29th, 2010Proud to have served the awesome Tip.It Crew <
Nom
This is what an RHCP game could be: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Telc5iohl7Q I've been into making customs lately and this is my most recent. Kinda lulzy run but whatever. Haven't charted bass or drums yet, but they should both be pretty good.
Juhnie
About time. :PRated ~87th in Toxicity Vocals now. :) They should add some Nightwish's old songs as DLC, they have such insane guitar riffs.. I'd want to try those. :D Master of Attack ~ August 29th, 2010Proud to have served the awesome Tip.It Crew <
Juhnie
I'm all out of ideas on how to increase the score. :???: Tried different Overdrive paths but still couldn't get the insane numbers of the people above me.. Usually just ended up with a quarter of a bar of it in the end of the song. Add more instruments?
