Yes I know its a stupid question. :wall: Makes the fretboard move quicker which makes it easier to see what note comes next (As the notes are more spread) but you have less reaction time. DLC appears to have finally stopped freezing. I celebrated. Then, the past two days, my guitar decided, "hey, I feel like double-strumming just so Saidin can't do well". I had one run where literally every single note was double-strummed. A potential 600k run on One was shot down to 555k by double-strums. Evil. Today, however, Guitar Hero felt like being nice to me. Not a single double-strum through an entire hour of playing. Story time over. On One, yesterday I was hitting FSB and FSD with such consistency it was scary... but the double-strums destroyed my score. Today, I was able to FC everything outside of the Fast Solos, but there was no FSB or FSD consistency to give me that small extra boost to my score :( Nonetheless, I was able to improve, and got this: This put me up to 44th on XBL leaderboards, so once again my Scorehero and XBL rank are the same! To continue with Metallica reduxes, I moved on to The End of the Line, which has very few FCs and horrible scores on those FCs. On my second run of the day, I pulled off a -2 (I'm consistent everywhere in the song except Solo B, on which I'm semi-consistent, so a FC is not out of the question), which put me in first on XBL: Sadly, a PS3 player (Rexisfed, excellent Playstation player in general) had a higher 1st, but I'm slightly better than him at star power-ness, so whenever I do successfully FC this, I'll have 1st! After adjusting to the tighter Rock Band 2 hit window, I flew through the last two tiers of GH3. Almost. I managed to beat Before I Forget (forget hammer on chords in Rock Band 2, we need them right here), Cult of Personality, Number of the Beast, Cliffs of Dover, and One (even managed 4 stars). Only things giving me trouble are Mosh 1 and Flood! in Raining Blood, the only main setlist song I haven't yet beaten on Expert. And then there's Lou, which might be a small problem. Lou is cake on expert, all you have to do is the wammy trick. and how is one supposed to 5 star through the fire and the flames on expert? my best is 360k and its the only song left on expert to 5 star. My score was 465k (94%, 850NS). I missed an easy star power after the solos, so I finished with one phrase in my "meter", so if I had hit it I think I would have gotten 500k. I overstrummed a ton on the Darkness sections (Riff = 99%, Verse 1 = 98%, Bridge 1 = 100%, Verse 2 = 98%, Fast Bridge = 99%). Well I've been stuck at 51 FC's (just got La Grange...finally) on Expert, and I decided to take a shot at hard. So far I've managed to obtain seven firsts for PS2, and I know I can get first overall on TTL, NotB and 3's and 7's... [hide=3's and 7's, Hard, 1st place PS2] I actually first place overall the run before this, but I choked in the last solo. In this run I had 16 ticks less...[/hide] [hide=Number of the Beast, Hard, 1st place PS21] 13 points away from 1st place overall -.- but I also missed a simple 200 which I've gotten in other runs before, so I'll get it soon.[/hide] [hide=Take This Life, Hard, 1st place PS2] This song is a HELL of a lot easier on Hard than Expert. The only thing you have to worry about is the trills, so if you're having trouble with this song I highly suggest you try and FC it on Hard first to get a feel of the song. Anyways, I could've had first in this run, but I dropped over 150 points in ticks, putting me 30 points behind LemonMeringue who is in first.[/hide] I'm planning to finish reduxing my Hard career and go for 60+ FC's. Also had a -1 in Suck my Kiss, -2 in Anarchy in the U.K., and -3 in Even Flow. Then improved my Pride & Joy score by 50k and got a -9 run, my current best. I can only play on weekends however, and sometimes every other weekend if I have a band tournament (like next weekend), so ima try for at least 1 FC every weekend I can play. :ohnoes: Tumblr. I don't attempt the optimal third squeeze, but instead go for ticks - if Lo7 can't hit that squeeze, I'm not about to risk less points on trying it. [hide=Even Flow][/hide] Had a run where I had made a stupid mistake, so I fixed that in this run... still no actual squeezing done, just using the proper no-squeeze path to boost my score a bit. Nom Posted October 13, 2008 Share Posted October 13, 2008 Radio Song was my first FC. It holds a special place in my heart. I didn't get BoP until like 17 or 18, it's that damn scratchy solo. Now I have 21, my 20th being Cherub Rock, the highest setlist song of my FC's. Only need RaRAN to FC set one and Barracuda for set two. Set 4 will come eventually, I have -1s on all of them except MNIJ and AItUK, which are already FC'ed.
