Should we take and keep monthly screenshots like those for future reference?

Does anyone have a snapshot of the old F2P list back in 2007? I just thought what they rankings were before the new updates such as GE introduced into the game. It's just my own opinion since I thought the training speed back then compare to current f2p is a lot faster compare to 2004 to 2007. Of course, from when game started to 2003, it was probably even slower.

 

These aren't 2007, but I had them saved:

 

February 2005

March 2006

May 2008

 

And as far as 2007, I have a picture of the top 29. >.> It's right before Syzygy passed Mendark 9:

Thanks Oce, I am doing this purely for personal interest. Doing monthly shot of high score doesn't really amount to anything or maybe yearly or every 6 months just to compare? I have take bunch of high score screen shots when I was training a lot, sort of like a training diary. I just want to compare how much xp I got during certain months, and how much I got compare to now. To do an xp speed comparison.

 

Interestingly enough, I wasn't even in the list during Feb 2005, since I started in Mayish, but manage to get into 70s rank in March 2006. Looking at those old top F2P names certainly takes me back, lol

 

And looking at 2007 if Mendark 9 kept on going, well, old history now

umm im a pure f2p who got a name change,, i think i am qualified for the pure f2p list,, my total is 1354,, yet im not on the lis tbcause of my name change ,, old name :Bucheeriz new name : B u c H

 

is there any possibility i could be on the list,, ?

True story :<

They are lacking for reason that, well, quite annoying to train.

 

Imagine if we don't have those mini games and no GE, it will even be harder to train.

 

Oh, then again, people could just use air walkers.

 

 

 

On another note, there are tons of F2P legends out there, its almost like a legend whole sale.

I was actually just kidding aha.

I could have been a legend if I devoted much of my early years of my life playing runescape all day.

For those who are interested, here is a shot of me and a friend observing Mendark 9 going at RC Airs for 4 hours straight (maybe 4 hours plus, because when I was about to leave, he is still there, walking away........),and of course, doesn't really talk during that time when we try to strike up a conversation. It was taken on Sept 2006

Well one of the reason that a lot of people have slowed down their training because due to real life responsibility, I know a lot of players back there are in high school or universities where training and studying was quite viable, now most of them are working, its hard to keep it on par with past training style. Of course, if you been playing for long time and many hours per day, the xp count would be quite insane.

Yeah Winh is an interesting one; they seem to be pure f2p (based on total xp) and he or she has probably been submitted to this list at least 4 times now, but they've been looked over every time. Either their f2p status is dubious somehow (maybe there is evidence of them on a p2p world like Amiricle) or they've really just been skipped over every single time.

To LordAdib : Oh i see! Never knew that, that will kind of hard to verify:/ But if there is no hard evidence of him being in a p2p world, so technically if he says he is "pure f2p" he is indeed so lol, but i get what you mean:/ Will leave it to Aura and the rest to decide

My goal is to get 1470 total before I quit (w/o new skill).

I'm aiming for 1445 total by the end of the summer (w/o new skill).

Not really playing much at all besides flipping, so then when I possibly start to play again I can get 90+ prayer.

94-96 Ranging will probably take me 1-2 months though, so everyone, have fun passing me in the ranks and good luck to all.

 

As to why I'm quitting, I've found other things that give me the same sense of accomplishment.

Will there be any chance that the list will expand again? (Top 500, top 1000, etc.)

 

And it's not good to exclude people on request (except for P2P), because we need ACCURATE info. Seeing only 11 players maxed on the list is just... -_-

There probably won't be an expansion on the list due to Runeheads limit which is 500 I believe.

And I agree with the last point, it pisses me right off.

But I think it was one of the rule that you also have to respect their decision, some people do value their privacy too. Majority of the F2P I know don't mind of putting themselves on it, but I think small amount of F2P do mind being on the list.

 

It's like you can't help it if your on the RS highscore list, but people would need to know you to look you up. More so that if you are on the list, then everyone knows who you are to certain extent.
