a level 126 or party hat set?

Featured Replies

so in a boring day you're wandering runescape and then a fairy comes to you and tells you that she will grant you the wish but the options are either be a level 126 with maxed combat stats and high non-combat skills or just have party hat set?

what do you choose?

I will choose the 126,since it's great to be a maxed level with high non combat skills and i believe you will make the party hat set one day by merchanting/barrows/dking

The partyhats. Sell one, get 94 mage with ancient multi spells in ape atoll dungeon.

Then sell the other one, get 99 mage with ice barrage in cw

a 126, you can just pest control to get there.

a party hat set would take guts worth of work....

easy survey.

Phat set, having maxed combats and high stats would take the point out of playing RS. With a phat set i could just be rich and still work on skills

I engineered this thread with precise variables that I know would cause lul-worthy flames.

neither... Id rather work for my own levels... and phats.... Well, they're overrated... I could've gotten one if I wanted when they were not even 20k each, or I could've gotten one after the great dupe... but, p hats, well, I'll just put it this way: If someone gave me a free phat, Id would NOT be impressed. This is because most phats are fake nowadays...

Phat set - Skills will only benefit you and will be boring after a while, if you were gievn a Phat set, you could 'spread the love' to your friends by selling them and sharing out some of the money.

99/99 Fletching, 99/99 Cooking, 96/99 Strength

Definatly level 126.

P hat set. I would sell two and buy 99 magic, ranged, prayer and construction. Then I'd give my friends 10m each. Then I'd put one of the p hats on a level 3 character and sell it on EBAY for like $2k.

I'd choose the party hat set, since I already have combat lvl 126 lol \'

Phat set easily.

Combat 126. Due to the fact that I can just solo the KQ and in about a week; I can achieve a purple party hat.

Phat set because getting one through skills would be alot harder than getting level 126.

For me it would have to be a party hat set... As I don't care too much for leveling combat.... I'd probably sell a party hat or two and put it into skills like construction or fletching for example.

thanks for posting guys

The party hat set is better. The whole point of this game is to level up your character to some crazy high level.

You can just sell off the phats too if you want some stats at 99...

Something like this:

1. sell all phats except your 1 or 2 favorites

2. use money to get 99 fletching and some other stats to 99

3. make lots of money fletching and high alching, buy back phats you sold off.

4. gloat that you have full phat set...

I would go for the party hat set. Training my skills myself gives me a sense of achievement, it's 75% of the fun. And with a party hat set, it would be that much better. :P

[spoiler=Stats:]Updated December 22, 2011:

Total level - 1442 - 170M+ XP , Combat level - 115

Combat skills: Attack - 90, Defence - 99 (24.45m+ XP), Strength - 90, Constitution - 99 (16.42M+ XP) Ranged - 99 (13.32M+ XP), Prayer - 60, Magic - 99 (13.25M+ XP)

Non-Combat skills: Cooking - 99 (13.80M+ XP), Woodcutting - 99 (31.95M+ XP), Fishing - 90, Firemaking - 99 (24.82M+), Crafting - 90, Smithing - 90, Mining - 85, Runecrafting - 60, Dungeoneering - 85

I think i would go for the Party Hat Set. Only because once you sold the whole set or some of them, then you would be able to max out your skills anyway.

Isn't the road to 126 the most fun part? If it isn't why would you be playing the game? The game is for fun and if it's not fun to train up to the best then theres no point in doing it.

Equally, isn't the road to a party hat set also fun? If you enjoy merchanting then a set will eventually come.

im level 76 and IM NOT A NOOB 30- is a noob

id prefer a party hat set thebn i could max out my skills wearing a blue party hat all the time :D

Party hat sets.

Deffinately.

P2P offers more and better ways of making money than f2p. That's one of the cons you just have to play with if you don't feel like having 1 bigmac meal less per month.

definetly the party hat set... I want to lvl up myself anyways, so why not do that while flexing with a phat set? ;)
