Apps if posted before Usual thing we all hate autoer's, so as this guy said best way to deal with them is simple, make it so you can't become a member until your a certain combat lvl, like lvl 20 for instance. Some might say the following things. 1. Thats unfair to the people that pay to play 2. Jagex would lose out on money 3. I'm a pure only at fishing etc etc In my opinion this would be a great way to either reduce auto buyers etc or slow them down Gorak Chronicles Ended, thinking of something new for next week
July 4, 200718 yr For a good portion of the people that have had an account above level 100 or even have one now have gotten bored of combat stats. Many of them make So-called skillers[As did I]. This is a bad idea. MAYBE they should make a total level limit that has to be spread out (like if the total level limit was, say 50. Or at least 'til <insert excuse here> happens98% of people have signatures with made up statistics in them. If you're one of the 2% that doesn't, copy this and add it to your signature.

July 4, 200718 yr It would not solve anything. All that would be needed to happen was the autoer is programmed to reach that level before they are made a member. Aynways, this would restrict the number of players becoming members, as little as it would, reducing profits for Jagex. They would probably not want that. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience.
July 4, 200718 yr I say - make it so you need to have 128 total (means you actualy leveled 99 times because all the 1s also count for your total). People might say it's too hard to gain 99 levels but it's not hard if you don't train only 1 skill (autoers!) so it won't be that bad and will almost delete all bots from p2p servers but that doesn't solve the bigger problem - f2p bots... support new ghostly stuff here.I see RuneScape slowly turning into a sadistic version of WoW..signature your as this use backwards this read to enough smart were you If

Level 3 skillers can suck it up and get a few combat levels. They go on as if jagex is supposed to work around their random obsession with being as low combat as possible. I'd prefer this to be overall over combat because of the whiny level 3's who would be forced to level combat. :lol:
July 4, 200718 yr Full of problems, lots and lots of people will complain, Jagex will never implement. Eliminates skillers (good or bad, everyone has their opinion), helps eliminate bots from p2p. NO support from me though.

If you read my suggestion - I would have it be a 200-300 total level OR the 20-30 combat. That way skillers or fighters both get in, just not auto'ers. And getting to 20 combat would waste their time.. If anybody thinks no auto'ers are members, what about green drag bots? (I am well aware that green drag bots would get past this. P2P forever!... Maintaining P2P is a much higher priority to Jagex then F2P... P2P makes them rich, F2P makes them annoyed. :D
