lordvidrs1
Well i think that mith dragons are much to hard to kill for the drops that they provide :S. If you have been there and killed a mith dragon i think you will know what im talking about, lvl 304 uses all types of attack. If your lvl 126 with full mage or range gear you can take about 8 then bank. Seriously they are way to hard to kill and then get some coins for a reward. I wanna know what everyone else thinks about them really \
meb
What? Is the level 304 dragon that drops a dragon full helm, the most expensive item you can get as a drop too hard to kill??? They must become easier!! Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. You might not make it.All your accounts are belong to us now.If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator

Perakp
Have you tried lowering it's defence? Have you tried using dark bow's special on it (always hits)? Have you poisoned it? Do you use vengeance? Do you agree that it has the best drops in the game and should be challenging to defeat? Chances of getting a dragonic visage or the dragon large from them are slim, but it is possible. And the other drops haven't sounded that bad either. It was about time we got something 'high level', 'hard' monsters to fight with reasonable drops. Haven't been there myself though, so don't listen to me
lordvidrs1
lowering its defence provides little help hits through anti drag pots 43 ive seen highest so wouldnt wanna try it immune to poison havent tried ven dragon chain is best drag in game, d helms will be worth 3mil soon

Dork
At the moment they're way too easy. Jagex really need to get rid of the safe spots, a level 304 dragon shouldn't be able to be shot at from a distance and not be able to defend itself. -.- Edit: Fixed while I was typing this :D :XD: As for them being too hard, no, they're not. Why would you possibly want them to be easy to kill? So the large can lose it's value within 2 days? There are few too hard things to do in this game, I personally welcome any updates of this nature. Perakp
Antidragonfire potion and mage pray should defend 100% of the dragonfire (?) or you could start the fight with the darkbow spec, before it had a chance to attack you? Can you place a cannon in the cave?

Whil it does negate the dragonfire attack, they also have a magic based attack on top of that, so you have to use magic protection prayer to get rid of that ;) It's actually impossible to negate all of it's attack, because it still has range or melee to use if you get rid of it's fire and magic ;) Which is actually quite nice really : Sig And Avatar by Tripsis - 99 Slayer Blog - My Pyramid Plunder GuideOwner of Fire Cape since 28-09-2005 - 426th to 99 Strength
nicrune007
Try first comparing them to the KQ KQ has way better drops =[ Hey Nicrune007 , Whats Your Username? 99 Ranged on 2/6/07 99 Hit Points on 9/5/08 99 Defense on 26/4/08 99 Attack on 14/2/09 99 Strength on 25/2/09 99 Slayer on 13/9/09\:D/
malo2
Try first comparing them to the KQ KQ has way better drops =[and it's much harder to kill, soloing it will only get you half a kill per trip, and chain prices are falling anyway. Lastfm

Bellatrix
Can somebody tell how hard and often their melee hit is? what is their max melee hit? (I noticed the brutal greens are quite weak for their level in melee, and hit much weaker then black dragons) Slayer: 85/85, Herblore: 82/82, Farming 81/82, def 99/99.new goals: full sardomain costum from t.trails (2/6), slayer 87/90, attack 98/99Dragon drops: 4 half shields, 2 dragon spears | whip drops: 5.barrow drops: Ahrim's hood
ReapMe
well i'm sure not many people have killed 100+ of mith drags i've killed about 80 myself best drop about 7 rune battleaxes chain from kq is like 1/150 or so and this uses less supplies than kq and you can kill more in 1 trip maybe they give you something if you complete everything in barbarian training that makes killing them easier. a barbarian was always able to make do with the simplest of equipment... which came in especially handy when they went forth to battle the mightiest creatures they could find. i wish they would nerf the safe spots, instead of 10 ppl in each world fighting over the two spots, they should just fight them like every one else. they will probably increase their range or something What? Aquashock
If you melee them with karils on, and melee prayer they dont range you. So all you have to do is worry about magic attacks (which they do use every now and then). They only range when you are not next to them meleeing. So if you use a dfire pot + dfire shield, the dragonfire will not hurt you. I go with karils, Nesinot helm, Barrows gloves, climbing boots, fury, wealth, and trimmed att/str cape (any trimmed cape for prayer bonus) They are still hard though, on a good trip i can kill mabey 6-8 pending on how well i hit. Also, im a 99 attack and strength, so dont try to melee if you arnt 90+ in those stats, or you will be down there for your entire trip taking out 2. ^^Click For Monster Hunting Blog (180M+ in drops)^^

Wachtwoord
I'm indeed wondering very much what'll happen to the D full prices. After all, it's a pretty useless item. BUT: It's extreme difficult to get, so maybe it'll become a wealth symbol and it'll be worth a lot. But if it doesn't, I think they'll become another never fought monster. I killed 1 dragon in the method you mentions (black draghide, whip, anti melee prayer) - but the magic hited often and hard, so im afraid i wont be able to kill more then 2 in a trip in this method. does anyone know how strong is their melee attack? Waytothedark
If it were too weak, what would happen? People would be getting to many good drops and the economy would go down :o, and also, the dragon is lvl 303/4 i believe, IT SHOULD BE DIFFICULT TO KILL.
