90% of the people who call you a 'safer' have no idea what it is. The true meaning is over eating or eating more than is needed such as you have 40/60 hp and your opponent hits 10 max with his scimitar. Once you're down to 35, you eat to full health. That is safing.

 

 

 

If you're down to 5/60 hp and he hits 10, that is not safing, that is surviving.

 

 

 

F2P and P2P have different meanings.

 

 

 

F2P = Eating more then required. EG. You have 30 Hp you get hit a 10 and eat twice giving you 44 Hp as opposed to 12. Stupid really.

 

 

 

P2P = Not letting your HP go below X. EG. You Hit-Points level is 90, you get hit a 30 and eat so your HP is never low enough for them to go at you with a Dragon Dagger.

Pkers are little girls who always want an easy kill and if you start to put up a fight they run or tele.

 

 

 

So safing is just an excuse so they can be the little girls they are.

Those are the same people who shout 'NOOB!' at you when you either:

 

 

 

A. Teleport from the Wilderness.

 

 

 

B. Get killed by that person.

 

 

 

I know the best thing to do is ignore them, but really every time it happens to me I

 

just want to throw them into the pits of Hell/Sheol/Hades/Jahannam/etc. and let their flesh

 

melt from the bones.

 

 

 

Of course, that's the kind of reaction they're trying elicit. An angry person is less focused, and

 

less likely to make a fatal mistake when PKing.

 

 

 

 

 

If you're minding your own business in the Wilderness (runite mining, Green Dragon killing)

 

and someone tries to PK you, then yells "Safer!" at you when you keep your HP above 70, then

 

that person cannot be forgiven. If you're walking around world 18, trying to PK or pick a fight,

 

and then a person calls you a safer when you always keep your HP above 75%, it's a little

 

more understandable then. When a person eats and eats and eats, then teleports when

 

they're out of food, I imagine that's frustrating for the would-be PKer. I myself, when I do PK (rarely)

 

am usually the type to run up at a person once their HP is low and let off a few special attacks.

 

Sometimes I get lucky and get a nice little death pile, most of the time I don't and I get called

 

a noob, which I get, because when I act like that I am being a noob.

Well by safeing you making it pretty much impossible for the other player to have a chance to kill you and earn a few 100k, so your overprotecting your pixels. While usually the opposing player is not safeing as much as you. That seems a little greedy to me.

No you are just making it harder for them to kill you. That is the law of the wild, kill or be killed. Pardon us for doing everything we can to be the killers and not the killed. Why shouldn't we do every possible thing to stay alive? Calling a person a "safer" is a stupid thing to do. Do you honestly expect people to allow you to kill them? :-s So go ahead and call me a "safer" all you want I'll be the one who's laughing when you're in Lumbridge/Falador and I'm trying on your armor. \

QFT here. I find it stupid when people call me a safer, first it's teles (against teleing) then what teaming? Now safing, no that's just stupid, worst thing that happened to me is that I got called a safer when I didn't eat a single piece of food while I made the guy eat over 5 times when he was close to being red barred.

TBH, calling someone a safer is plain lame... I'm sorry, but as much as you want me to get my hp into a position where you can dds or quicksmash me into oblivion, I really would rather live :) It's like saying "I lack the skills to beat you in a straight battle, so can you let your hp slip a little and give me a chance?"

It is pretty clear that those who try to take advantage of others in the wilderness by attacking people who are working clues or something and not necessarily prepared to defend themselves, are not the sharpest knives in the drawer, nor are they the type of person you can trust in real life. This game reflects a person's character, and the pker's are showing their true colors when they attack someone like a miner. Also, killing unprepared players in the wild is probably the lowest form of playing the game. They are our worst players, our lowest class players and our laziest players.

No, I'm leaving it unsaid because I think most anyone that is willing to disagree so vehemently as to resort to name calling (Pkers- morons as just one example) is not yet open-minded enough to accept the notions involved.

Safing=survival. I have been called safer at 3 hp and I gobble down 3 sharks (70 max hp) just cause they want the d scimmy I pk in. I use the food I bring, and my ecto too. Jagex put them in there for a reason, why not use them? The only people that call people safer, def noob, teletubby, etc. are people that try to use tricks like pures but they dont work so they want to bring down everyone with them before they die. They wanna get ancients at lvl 56 or whatever and try to ancient me to death? So what, I'll just use my msb that I usually bring just for that purpose. They want to dds me, hitting into the high 20s? Thats what melee prayer is for. If you pures want to try and get money by pking, kill other pures. The rule of pures in the wild is OVER.

I think that pures should grow up (Well, around 1/100) personally, they're immature and...wagon-holes. (GASP! I censored myself!!!) I personally keep out of the wild, the most I pk are bots. I actually talk to pkers if I happen to be in the wild :P

 

Sometimes I actually convince them to leave me alone :XD:

The whole point of the wild is to be a place where you can freely kill anybody as you please. It may be impossible to make a kill in Edgeville wild when the other player is "safeing", but thats tough luck. Raise your strength, freeze them, or pker deeper in the wild.

 

 

 

The wilderness was made by Jagex with one rule, and one rule only: There are NO rules. If you want rules, such as so "eating noobs", "pray noobs", or "torag noobs", GO TO THE !@#$% DUEL ARENA!

 

 

 

When people are calling me a safer nub or such things whilst I'm pking, I simply say "Say what you want, I'm winning!" And there's nothing they can do about it, plain and simple.

true, killing miners and abyss RCers is more like thrill killing, because the only loot you are going to get is junk, "w00t! 20-something pure ess and a glory ammy! I only wasted 200k on barrage runes to get this!" or "Zomgdz 8 rune ore! Now to drop half my food to make room since the miner never managed to hit me, and lug this 60kg sack of ore out of the wildy where it will rot in my bank, since I can't even smith mith!"

 

 

 

If you want to be a real PKer, go kill some people who actually have whips and dragon weapons to drop, or bring down a couple of green drag autoers and teach those noobs a lesson :)

Safing takes the fun out of PKing. Same goes with using protection prayers, teleporting out of fights etc.

 

 

 

Yes, I know you don't want to loose your precious items, but if everyone safed nobody would ever get a kill. The only time I safe is through specials.

 

 

 

Ideally try to hit when you are 5-10HP over your opponent's max hit.
