Myweponsg00d
Heh, Im usually more of a digital only artist, but I'm only 16 and I would love to start honing my skills in art like this. Pretty much the only thing i can actually draw is buildings... I have so much vision, but when I try to draw it...it comes out bad. (trying to draw people, dragons etc) Can you "train" your hand to do what your mind is thinking? Or are you just born with it or not. Cause I would love to be able to draw what I am thinking. tttia
look a few pages back for my drawing lessons post. I am not saying I am a great artist, but I am a lot better than when I started. I DEFINITELY Was not born with it.

Dyronamics
No one is born with any skills worth mentioning.... Drawing well = (practice + copying other peoples styles) x lots In fact just copying what other people have done is a good way to improve on its own.... Give credit where due though  Superknight/Blademaster: Level 150; Hps: 132Theoretical damage per round: 234Highest recorded damage in one round:

Witty-Fool
Seems I'm a bit [developmentally delayed]ed. Here's my sketch for "little things": I sorta rushed through this one. Drawn from my imagination, might have some flaws. Also very small pic (about the size of your palm), so even the devart version is not very detailed. ~witty
tttia
Mary, I like this considerably better than your stuff on the old boards. Keep up the good work :) Cute kid there witty! The lady could use a head, but hey, its a start. As for small...just blow it up and paint over it at higher resolution then delete that layer. It would work fine. Just lines anyway. I am afraid I have been busy lately, and trying to help the wifey learn a few things about photopaint, tablets etc. But i will try to do this next topic. It is a tougher one. Do a portrait of someone. It doesn't have to be perfect, but see if we can guess who it is.
Witty-Fool
I left out the head on purpose. The woman isn't a little thing, she's only there to add to the picture. She's not the center of attention. Portraits sounds fun. This time I won't be able to draw from my head. ~witty
Witty-Fool
I'm gonna bump this because even though Tttia seems to have lost interest, I still think drawing is an integral part of graphic art... You all should give it a try. *Bump* ~witty
