I've recently taken a 'brain gender' test from the BBC and got these results (I'm a male.): First try: Second: I've taken the test TWO times and still only can score on the feminine side. For the record, I'm not a homosexual, nor do I believe I'm a woman trapped in a male body. In fact the latter could be a symptom of GID (Gender Identification Disorder) and is something that should be treated or it could possibly hurt my social/love life. (More info on Answers.com site) I'm just a teenage male that has no male aggression, good empathizing skills, doesn't do as well in tasks that most men are normally good in, poor systemizing skills, etc. I've asked a friend what he thinks and he says that I'm probably just artistically-inclined. Ichimaru Posted July 17, 2007 Share Posted July 17, 2007 Female brains are typically adept at linear, memory, language, etc. Male brains are typically adept at abstract, space visualizing, etc. If you score on the female side, that means you are better at doing the things I mentioned above. However, this test is more complete than that. It measures testosterone, behaviour, and female/male attraction. Pretty weird when I saw that statement saying "people generally score higher on this than they expect to", which is exactly what happened o_O. That test isn't exactly perfect or anything though. Much of the comparison data was pretty vague, especially on stuff like the eyes section, where men and women score exactly the same, or the money part, where the difference between men and women is extremely minimal, and the only major differences occur between cultures, not genders. Doesn't exactly seem like a good idea either to go and say "You good at math, you man. You good at remembering junk, you woman". Dunno, just didn't like the vibe of the test- like it tried to look official, but it wasn't anywhere close :| . So ya, don't read too much into it.
