I said "you won't believe this but my car is stuck in my driveway and I can't get to you and I'll call you back when we get it unstuck" and she said she'd come get me instead. The pool noodles don't do anything, my 9 year old brother has them, he is standing behind the guy in the white shirt. He was just messing around and happen get in the shot.
July 19, 200718 yr I'm no car genius but from what I can see why don't you just add weight to the right hand side, all 4 of you push down on it and heaviest sit on that side while you slowly go down? Or all hold up the left hand side so it doesn't roll when you back up? The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.

The tow truck was only like 100$, alot less than i had expected it to be...

That's exactly what i would have done, i've been down steeper hills in our 4WD, it's pretty hard to flip a 4WD end over, much easier to roll though. As long as he could have kept it pointing straight down the hill I don't think it would have been a problem. I wouldn't want to be sideways on that hill though... that could get really ugly really fast. I guess the iffy part would be if the car did something funny when he hopped the other front wheel over the curb since it was only on three wheels at the time. I've been offroading before where we were on three wheels on the side of a mountain in a really light 4WD and I was having to hang my entire body out the other side of the vehicle to keep it from flipping. It was a friend of mine driving in a really rocky rugged mountainous desert... he had some serious skills. There is no way I would have tried some of the stuff we went over if I was driving. You would be surprised at what a skilled driver can get over in a car. On a side note how's the getting in shape going Wakka?

July 21, 200718 yr Wait, try to layer something under the tyre thats off the ground, then then get your people to weigh down the back of the car, and hopefully it will get the contact right. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

You can't push it back, its heavy and theres a steep drop off on the other side. It's my first car, we bought it off the people down the street for 10,000. It's been through 2 owners but was in perfect condition, it was awesome. I love my SUV, I can lay in the trunk and just hang out or lug around my guitar equipment. Plus my parents wanted to get an SUV incase we needed to haul something (its the biggest car we have). Adding onto what How2pk said... You could have put it in neutral and pushed it back up..Theres a grassy hill on the other side. On 3 wheels on the side of the driveway you don't want ot touch that thing. A bit of force could have easily knocked it over. Plus, theres not any footing on the grassy hill thats in the front of it and its an incline. I don't think me and my neighbors could push an SUV uphill with no footing... That's what you get for driving an SUV :XD:Whats wrong with my SUV :evil:
