Why do you think four of the barrows brothers are level 115 and two are level 98? I think that maybe Karil and Ahrim are younger, that is why they are lower levels.

but the true reason probably has to do with their forms of attack. mage and range. the others are melee. same with our characters. mage and range will have a lower combat at higher levels due to that and hp being only things trained, while melee has all elements thrown in there

Probably has to do with the combat system.

 

 

 

A character can have 99 magic, 99 prayer, 99 hitpoints, and 99 defence and still not be 126 combat(109 Combat). Yet you can have subsitute the 99 magic for 99 attack and 99 strength for the correct results.

 

 

 

Meaning you can never achieve max combat without having strength and attack.

 

 

 

Ahrim and Karil apparently are on the lower scale of the spectrum. :shame:

Well strength,attack,defence and hitpoints make up the bigger part of the combat level and karil and ahrim are the ranger and mager of the brothers so they would have a lower combat level

Its the stats, ahrim has defense, hp, magic and some lower melee stats (which explain why his max hit is like 12 when checked with lunar magics, it is his melee max). Karil goes the same way but switch out magic for range.

 

 

 

The melee brothers have attack, strength, defense, and hit points to up their combats.

obviously, ahrims and karils were focused into alternate stats instead of cb stats like defence attack strength, etc.

because mage/range makes for a lower cb lvl than melee.

As said before, they're just a good in their skill as the others are in theirs. (A lvl 50 meleer will have a higher combat lvl than a lvl 50 mage or ranger)

Probably because of their attack styles.

If you read the tattered book you can pick up outside of the barrows, it says the oldest brother is Ahrim.
